I think they do want their "customers" to remain happy so that they will keep coming back. Although casinos, just like any other business care about their profits more than anything else. Which can be morally right or morally wrong, depending on the different perspectives. But they do need to make money if they wish to survive as a business, thats a fact.

But I do believe that they would not want to do anything that might anger their customers. Obviously, making sure their customers participate in responsible gambling is part of that.

They are placing those reminders as default reminders to the players.
It is like a friendly reminder to the gamblers so they won't be too hard to the casino.
So it seems they want to take care of their players by being mindful of what they do.
But of course, let's accept the fact that casinos want to earn profits and more.

That is why they gave a warning or a reminder if a gambler is already gambling excessively. They can also offer exclusion and lastly, they can do some donations. It's only sad that there are still gamblers who can't follow all those guidelines and got carried away by the hype cause of gambling.

I agree, it is not the casinos fault why people are having financial difficulty.  It is the lack of discipline and knowledge on bankroll managment that makes people suffer huge losses.  The casinos are just offering their services it is up to the gambling on how he will use them.

They don't care whether you are losing or winning as long as you are wagering. And, of course, they don't enjoy someone losing much more than he/she can afford to lose. I think I already saw a crypto casino which doesn't have a house edge on them and there are also casino whose house edge is so tiny. Maybe these types of casinos are the ones who cares the most to their players. They still can earn in other ways like by putting some advertisements on their site. Not sure its about enjoy or not, just about avoiding damaging a market of players and the prospect of regular gambling.  Someone blowing their budget is not good for them or ultimately the long term usage and prospects of that sites revenue.   There is probably a mutual benefit to ensuring players dont over cook their gambling, its my basic advice that its best to stay regular not chase wins or pursue a loss expecting it'll turn around on that particular session imo just come back another time is best policy so session limits is good practice.

It's just that, it's mandatory to put that disclaimer as these are gambling companies.

If casinos do really take care of their customer's money, you should see lots of limit-activity programs on the site. Don't be blinded that the casinos are worried about their users losing money if you see those gambling responsibly advice posted on their sites.

Ironically enough, self-exclusion programs only work if the gambler acknowledges there is a problem or something bad going on with their gambling habits, which at the same time requires a minimum of self-awareness.

That is a recommendation from the casino for people before they register at the casino. Still, I don't think that those people will take the time to read but will register immediately so they can immediately deposit their money and play gambling games. I thought differently. Casinos would love to see people lossing their money, because that means a good profit for them. Well, no matter how many times a user wins, if he's not gonna stop betting while he still has the winning money, he'll end up lossing eventually.

it is also part of their terms and condition and permission to operate , but again it is always in our hands how do we control our selves even if they are not reminding us it is still in our self to blame if we got addicted that is why we need to control in terms of gambling. During a pandemic, one of the businesses that made the most profit was a business that provided everything for funerals, but I'm sure they weren't happy about the deaths of many people at that time although the business will benefit greatly because of it, so I agree that gambling sites don't like losing gamblers, even though they are benefit from it but seeing responsible gamblers will be more like it because they will also avoid accusations of cheating because irresponsible gamblers sometimes they feel cheated for a loss.

Not actually because we don't know the owners and for most provably they are not running a business to take care someones welfare. Businessman always think about their profit so they spend a lot of money on marketing to convince people to play on their casino so for that they are aiming for their own gain that's why house always have the advantage because this is made for their own profit. This is a good thread, but from what I see, these online casinos just put this information there for the sake of formality.

They know that there are regulatory bodies that visit their website, and these are some of the things they would look out for. Also, they know that people would likely put out reviews for their site and would appraise them either positively or negatively if these write-ups or information were missing. And lastly, it seems like the moralistic thing to do.
