Starting to get really annoyed at losing this season.  Just had a look at the questions for round 11 and mostly football so that’s good for me in theory.

Usually I’d just fill in tennis answers on a Sunday or Monday but going to wait until Tuesday. I can’t risk going too early as Sabalenka could easily lose to Raducanu tomorrow for example. Fingers crossed I end my sickening losing streak.

When it comes to tennis, I always like to wait for the last days to submit my answers because surprises are always possible. Especially in the women tennis.

The task is done (submit), as I assumed my opponent had already sent... I usually forget about VAR, but given the reference (Hz) I wouldn't bother taking my first VAR of the year, although I don't think it's necessary, the answer was intrinsic...

With the major leagues coming back and nothing major happening elsewhere we had no choice but to force football. I think everyone will be happy with that. Was about time

Probably also most of us by now just answer from gut if its football. Research doesn't make any sense sometimes.

For me the research doesn't make sense for a while. I just answer from my gut or just by selecting an answer with no reason at all I don't know if sport is more random now, or is it that Trofo and cryptofrka are giving us much more challenging questions.

Exactly how I feel yes. OC for sure you need some research for competitions which have a path to the final, or for sports you don't know anything about but for football I think you have to go with your knowledge. Barca and Spain for me in football, regardless the odds its gonna be top on my mind.

Trust me sports always has been random, we just feel it harder cos of BSFL

I considered waiting till closer to the deadline before answering but there is a risk I might miss it this week. Better to submit and use VAR to make any changes depending on the outcome of tennis tomorrow.

Great to have club football back and more familiar questions, not like I would not still get them wrong.

Sent answers for round 11, after resting for 1 week, I hope my team this time gains new energy to earn points, to improve my position in the table.
It is indeed not easy because all the opponents in division 1 are very tough.
For the tennis questions, Sinner and Alcaraz will definitely dominate the answers, but for the women's section, it is quite difficult, only Sabalenka seems likely to reach the final while Gauff and Swiatek remain doubtful about making it far in this tournament, and I won't to wait until tomorrow sent the answer just to see the results in tennis because sometimes it is useless.

Good call there, Radu came close to pushing for that tiebreak -- am actually impressed whenever someone of her stature isn't completely overpowered by Sabalenka. Not really much else to wait for now but will still ride out the early morning games to submit mine tomorrow.

~ Gauff and Swiatek remain doubtful about making it far in this tournament, and I won't to wait until tomorrow sent the answer just to see the results in tennis because sometimes it is useless.

...especially when you get walkovers or retirements, I always feel like you need to win games struggling to get to a good final.

Maybe next time, cryptofrka, I will definitely challenge you – or maybe you and Trofo. Skipping this round has come in handy for me, as I’ll be able to do my mini home renovation without checking our BSFL page every 5 seconds. I’ll also celebrate a bit more now that I’ve made it to the semifinals of the cup.
