The only tennis pick that was different in our case was Medvedev, and he lost, so that's an extra point for you.

We are fighting a very big battle in this division,,, truly it is as hard as First Division, I had the lucky honor last week of getting a free pass so I have to wish for the very best. Yes,,, when I picked NO I knew it was a gamble because so many stages left and Vingegaard is the top top guy he would win any stage he picked. However,,, I felt he was going to try and take it easy but no he just won one more stage. I found out only the next day tho so could not use VAR but still,,, the tennis question makes it up.

The cycling question is a lot more open than it looks like.
With 4 stages to go, he's got a chance of winning 2 of them - mountain stages 19 and 20.

Considering that Tour de France is in a month or so and that he's got a huge advantage already, he can decide to preserve the energy and simply slow down a bit.

Damn Crystal Palace and Rayo, why did you play that horrible game with so few ocassions and so close, i need a bit more of action in that one, i only saw the last 15 minutes and Rayo Vallecano cant made a proper shot to the Henderson goal in all that time, so for sure they deserve to lose.

Palace game went exactly as I hoped it will. Good for them to win the cup and get into the Europa league after all the drama that happened when the got in last season through the FA Cup but had to drop down to the competition they just won. That result gives me an early lead now.

In NBA, I do not know if I hope Spurs wins tomorrow cause that will take us to game 7 and they then have to win again away from home, which if they fail to do, I lose the point. But if they lose tomorrow, we both do not get any points from that.

Yeah, I love it when I take the lead right from the start. It's much easier to follow the rest of the round with my opponent trying to keep up. Now we have two questions with the same answer and then the round will really kick in. As for Oklahoma, I hope that the result of the game 6 will be just like it was in the game 4 when they played in San Antonio. I don't follow basketball, but it looks like Spurs destroyed Oklahoma in that game.

You're absolutely right, it's always easier to be in the lead than to be playing catch up. In Game 4, you're right, they got crushed, for whatever reason. But in the other games where Oklahoma won, they were mostly never really in danger. We'll know for sure tomorrow morning, though. If Oklahoma loses the game, you can count yourself lucky, because then you'll have almost certainly win the round.

The main reason I went with "No" is that I read somewhere that cyclists who are in the overall lead don’t usually push to win more stages. Instead, they focus on preserving the lead and avoiding unnecessary risks. Makes sense when you think about it.


I did some calculations, and for me not to win this round, Djokovic has to beat Fonseca, Paul to beat Ruud, Latvia to beat Norway, and Spurs to beat OKC. If I parlay all of that, the combined odds are ~14. Perfect hedge situation.

I think I just gained a nice advantage in this round after Finland kicked out Czech Republic in hockey world cup, but I still need Norway to win against Latvia.
It would be amazing if San Antonio could win next NBA match against Oklahoma, so we can see them losing later in game 7
My gut feeling is telling me I am winning this round, but I wont make any early celebrations.
