Yeah, I think it's very common for the majority of gamblers who wanted to stop gambling,

a. you came from a big lost, and says to yourself that you want to stop gambling for good, so this might last for days or months
b. but after that period, you start to think of gambling again, want to scratch that itch again and maybe you can recoup your losses.

I think that's what on the mind of gamblers, specially b wherein they find that as a excuse to go back again.

I never stop or quit gambling, maybe there was a time because I don't have a job so my save money is for my family, to bring food in the table. But once I got a stable job again, 9-5 and earning decent, then I slowly comeback to gamble.

But it's just betting on some sports and then slots as well. But I'm not that addicted, I can go on for months not wanting to gamble because I set my priorities. However, there could be individual who are totally addicted and can't simply stop.

Every single time I had a huge loss I tell myself that this is the last time I gamble big. But somehow I continue placing odds. Always play for the amount that you don't mind losing and then there will be no problems with addiction.Personally, I don't see the point in going all in and gambling for large sums, the game should be fun and not cause you stress.People who have problems with self-control should not participate in any gambling at all, this will only cause losses.

It's natural to have the intention to stop whenever you are faced with big losses, some actually stopped for a period of time to cool down after a huge loss, I did this so many times and will continue to do this its good for your mental health so you can breathe, relax and forget your losses I lose count on how many times I stop for a period of time and think of stopping but always go back especially in boxing and basketball when I see good local matchups.

When some people are having fun and spending good time gambling others are struggling with addiction and gambling issues so since I’m on the type one of people where i only enjoy some time gambling with few money that I’m ready to lose and won’t effect me in any way, Beside never trying to chase my losses and spend more money after losing. I never thought about stopping gambling before since i didn’t come cross a any issue doing. If someone is losing much money that he needs or his family needs then it’s time for him to admit that he is addicted and it’s affecting his life in negative ways. First step to fo is seeking support from therapist or even his closest friends.

I'm just trying to limit or reduce my gambling activities, and to stop is not at all as easy as people say and there have to be stages that must be done until I really want to stop.
and now I only gamble when there is free time and there is a desire to gamble and with a little capital that has been provided and for fun, and the most important thing is to learn to control myself not to keep playing. Gambling activities can be reduced by having a full time job like me because after work I use the rest of the time to rest and only play on weekends and even then when there is a desire to play and if not I don't gamble.

For me, this is entertainment, and I don’t always have time for this, since I devote a lot of time to my family and my business. Sometime in the past, when I was a student, this was a very serious hobby for me, I tried to understand if I could earn money from gambling, I played almost every day and tried many strategies. Good for you, I guess majority here are also into sports betting because the chance to win is high as compare to slot games. Not sure if there are gamblers willing to explore new sports though, because if you don't know the rules then you might bet on teams that is on the losing side. I know that in life there are points we may want to give up due to the fact that our expectations aren't meant the way we wanted them, and the same applies to all of us gamblers on this forum, because I have literally stopped gambling twice, due to the fact that I lost a very huge amount of money, and I thought maybe gambling wasn't meant for me, and the best solution was to give up. But after some months I found myself gambling again, but this time at a moderated pace.

I stop losing count and stop counting because there's no use counting you will only get disappointed and what's the point of counting if you will do it again and again, you can stop whenever you want if you lose a big amount or you are busy into something I have known gamblers who stop one time or many times but eventually return playing, you're not a gambler if you never stop or think of stopping, I think its part of being responsible, stopping when you think you're taking it to much.

Countless times but most of those instances were when I was losing big time. And if I remember it correctly those were my younger years in this industry wherein I used to be a high roller. I was losing big time which always gave me the idea to quit dince there's a tendency for me to end up with debt if I won't make a change. Fortunately, I came across with sports gambling which somehow changed my vision in this industry.
