Yesterday, we had a couple of games, the first was between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. By the way, even before the match, I thought this match was most likely to be won by Islamabad United. Of course, at these stages, we don't have tensions of points and placement in the point table because right now we all know there are many games for every team so this is the time where teams have an opportunity to take risks and I guess Quetta Gladiators are looking to get the right form for further games. They need to improve their bowling more than their batting.

Both new franchises, despite having well-known experienced players, fail to bring success in early rounds of this season. In yesterday's game, RWD had a good total. Sam Billings and Daryl Mitchell score 120 runs for the fourth wicket partnership, which helps their team have 197 runs on board.

After having a good target, their bowlers also have a good start, but experienced veteran David Warner and Azam Khan play amazing stuff in the chase and help Karachi Kings to register their third win out of their three games this season. Azam Khan is looking impressive with bat his strike rate deserves to have this player on the Pakistan team as well.

I do miss David Warner at the IPL. Good to see that he has moved on to other leagues, rather than retiring from the franchise T20 cricket altogether. Warner first represented the Karachi Kings during last season (he played a total of 11 matches and scored 363 runs with an average of 33.45 and strike rate of 153.97). This time also he has started well, scoring 93 runs from 3 matches till now. And from what I have seen, the opening combination of Warner and Muhammad Waseem works well for the Kings. And this is also one of the reasons why they are on top of the points table at the moment.

I think Azam Khan is debt on Pak team and he did not deserve to be in the team because his physique is not of cricketers and look like wrestlers and he should not be in the team which will show to the youngesters body language and physique matters a lot if you want to play for Pak team . Azam Khan played for the Psl franchise and for the foreign leagues which should be enough for him because he has weigh out of reach which should be low if you want to play international cricket because we saw keeping of that player in the International team which is not good for the team . He is good batter but it is not enough to play international cricket for the country. You have to run and jump for the team but he could not do because he has high weight.

Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans

This was an important match for the Lahore team but i think we may not see this match as it is raining at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore or even if there is the play possible, it will be reduced over game, however we don't have much time as the minimum 5 overs a side can be played if the rains stop and the outfield is dried.

Why am I saying that it is an important match for Lahore Qalandars, because they have lost one and won one, and they can't afford to lose another one. On the other hand, Multan Sultans have won both of their matches and haven't experienced a loss.

Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United faced each other in the 9th match of Pakistan Super League where Islamabad United won although Islamabad United lost in the 1st match but they turned around in this match. QTG won the toss and decided to bat and scored 183 runs in the allotted overs which was not a bad target but Quetta Gladiators' bowling line was not good enough. In the end Islamabad United won easily by 8 wickets. Shadab Khan performed brilliantly in this match he performed brilliantly in both bowling and batting which is very commendable.

Today another match is going on between Rawalpindiz vs Karachi Kings. Rawalpindiz has scored 297 runs. So far Karachi Kings has scored 28 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 3 overs so let's see which team can win.

This match was played between Islamabad and Quetta. Both the teams are strong and show their success in every match, but Islamabad won the match and performed well in this match. The Islamabad team got the decision to field first, in which they kept their fielding strong. The lowest score among their bowlers was Chris Green who gave 19 runs. He kept his bowling strong and Shadab Khan gave 23 runs in second place. If we look at the Quetta team, Hasan Nawaz from their team remained not out by scoring 66 runs and along with him Saud Shakeel also scored another 42 runs. He also kept his batting good, due to which they gave the Islamabad team a target of 183 runs and Islamabad achieved the target by scoring 189 runs in comparison to them. Sameer Minhas from their team scored 82 runs and moreover, remained not out with him and came in second place.  Shadab Khan scored 69 runs and he also kept his batting strong and remained not out. Both the teams showed strength for their team but luck had written victory for Islamabad and they won this match by 8 wickets while only two players from their team were out and it was a wonderful victory.

Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans

This was an important match for the Lahore team but i think we may not see this match as it is raining at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore or even if there is the play possible, it will be reduced over game, however we don't have much time as the minimum 5 overs a side can be played if the rains stop and the outfield is dried.

If this match had not been played again, but now in this match both teams will have 13 overs. Lahore Qalandar batsmen should score a good run in every over because Multan Sultan turn can also be DLS and they can also lose the match because of this. Lahore Qalandar batsmen are playing with a lot of hard work and strength, their batsmen have scored 109 runs in 7 overs which is enough surprising. With such an effort, I don't think Multan Sultan batsmen can do anything. Because in the previous matches also, the target of above 200 has been achieved, but this time Multan Sultan has 13 overs, in these overs they will have to achieve the target of around 200 which can be enough tough for Multan Sultan. Their bowlers must be able to control this target, otherwise the Lahore Qalandars batsmen can create a lot of problems for them.

Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans

The match has been started and it is 13 overs a side game. Lahore Qalandars are batting first and they have made 144 runs in just 9 overs. Mohammad Naeem has made his 50 runs and is still playing. Parvez Hossain Emon and Abdullah Shafique are the only two batsmen who are out but they have played their part.

This match reduced to 13 overs gave the Lahore batsmen the license to go all in, playing shots from the start and this had helped them to gain good score. Lahore Qalandars are looking to make a big total here.

The 17th over completely changed the match momentum in favour of the Karachi Kings. Now they are going to win third. This is going to be impressive for them, but sadly Rawalpindi both times failed to defend their big totals. This is going to be a problem for them.

Azam Khan keeps things on track for the Karachi Kings. David Warner is doing a good job using his experience and having good support for his team in difficult conditions. Karachi Kings are looking good this season, while Multan also has a good start. These teams can keep things in their favour, which could bring good cricket to watch for fans throughout this season.

Edit: Azam Khan is gone, but the damage is already done. 10 balls, 10 runs—it's all about Kings.

Rawalpindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen both are new teams of PSL 2026 and they are still unable to win their first game. KK recorded there 3rd consecutive win of the season by beating Rawalpindiz by 5 wickets. After losing 3 wickets, their is 120 runs partnership between Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings. Rawalpindiz finished their innings by scoring 197 runs. Karachi Kings top order remain steady in the chase and didn't gave away their wickets easily. Azam Khan was man of the match for scoring 74 runs.

Rawalpindi and Karachi are both strong teams but Karachi won the match. They decided to field first in this match which proved to be beneficial for them. They gave a target of 199 runs in this match. They have made a very good score in the few overs. From their team, Azam Khan has scored 74 runs and supporting him, David Warner has scored 50 runs. All their players have made some score or the other which has increased their target and they have not let any ball miss. They have made some score or the other and from their bowler, Moeen Ali kept his bowling strong in return he gave 19 runs to his opponent team and in comparison to them, team RWP scored 197 runs in return for the target, leaving them with only two runs. From their team, Daryl Mitchell scored 65 and with him Sam Billings scored 58. Their team has also shown a very good performance but by only two runs.  The winner of this match is whoever is lucky enough to win. Among their bowlers, Cole McConchie gave away 20 runs to his opponent, which was a good thing. However, he still could not make his team win and K K lost by 5 wickets.

The 11th no. Match of Pakistan super League is in the middle point currently the Multan sultan team is batting against the target of 186.
But what I am most surprised about is how they actually bowled so badly against Lahore Qalandars. I was expecting a better bowling performance from them. Because they gave the target of 186 runs in just 13 overs. I had given Multan Sultans a slight lead in terms of bowling performance in this match, now I am just thinking that if Lahore Qalandars had got a chance to bat in the overs, they would have gone close to 300 runs.

Anyway if I talk about the current performance of Multan sultan it's not really that good betting performance from them as well they do only 13 rounds after 2.3 over and their current run is around 5 and they are required runrate is over the 15. So there is a high possibility of losing this match.

In the first over, Shaheen shah came with the new bowl and he did so well early with good placements and wonderful alignment, even on the second bowl Shaheen gave an Yorker where Farhan badly struggle that was the clue of good spell. But in the third and in the forth bowl, Farhan tried for boundaries and both of the times he played great shots but due to the rain before the match, the bowl was hardly travel.

That is why both of the times bowl did not cross the boundary rope but when Steven Smith came on the second last ball, somehow he got four, on the last it was almost out but Shaheen did not take a review.

LQ batting was superb today, 185 runs in 13 overs is possible only if you play extra ordinary cricket. Mohammad Naeem scored most runs for LQ, he socored 60 runs on 28 ball. LQ are in winning position also because their captain didn't gave Haris Rauf his full quota of overs otherwise results won't be in favour of LQ.  

Today's match surprised me a lot. We don't usually see such high scores in PSL matches. Lahore has given a target of 186 runs. The interesting thing is that the match was played in 13 overs. It is undoubtedly  very difficult to score 185 runs in  13 overs. They scored more than 14  runs per over on average.

The striker rate of the first three batsmen of the top order was 210+ . Naeem scored 60 runs in 28 overs. Emon scored 45  runs in 19 balls and Shafique scored 33 runs in 14 balls. If Multan's top order had played well, they could have won. But the top order's  performance was weak. In the end, they managed to score up to 165  runs.

In the previous match of Multan Sultan, we have seen that Farhan and Steven Smith played really well and showed extraordinary game awareness. That's the reason when they both came to bat, it made me feel motivated as a Multan supporter, but at the same time, their bowling was so poor, and the target was so high that they were chasing. When it was first bowled, both of the openers were counting fielders to play on the safe side for boundaries because, of course, to chase the target, they had to do this.

Yeh both were holding bottom of the table one after another while Karachi were looking at true colors as they still continue thier win streak after three straight win and keep thier dominance over standing. Although after having great contribution from Mitchell and billing still pindiz failed to secure that vital match, as Azam out of no where took charge and smashed rest of opponent pace factory surprinsgly and with huge ideal strike rate catch the required and keep opponent under pressure. It's true that Azam Khan played a huge role but I don't think you can relay on him for future as he hardly have such kind of innings one in dozens.

Hyderabad Kingsmen Vs Multan Sultans

In the first two overs in the match Saim Ayub and Maaz Sadaqat scored a lot of runs and created the hype of the match but later on Peter Siddle came and both of them found struggle to play that over but somehow a edge happened and Saim Ayub got six but after that against Waseem Junior, Maaz hit couple of sixes and almost in every ball, he try to smash six while on the other hand Saim Ayub try to have fours and this the great combination. Wonderful and excellent boundaries, in the four overs Hyderabad made 50 runs.

This match was played between Hyderabad and Multan in which Hyderabad decided to bat first and took advantage of this opportunity and set a target of 225 runs and from their team, Maaz Sadaqat scored 62 runs and along with him Sharjeel Khan scored 51 runs and his team was out and moreover Irfan Khan also remained not out scoring 22 runs. He has shown good performance while playing his batting due to which he has played so strongly and made such a good score in 20 overs and in comparison Multan team achieved this target by scoring 227 runs. From their team, Sahibzada Farhan completed his century by scoring 106 runs and remained not out and in second place along with him Steven Smith scored 46 runs and he achieved this target and Sahibzada Farhan was declared the player of the match in this match because They showed a very good performance in this match and Multan won the match by 6 wickets which was a great victory.

What a mind blowing inning Multan sultans played. It was not easiest total for chasing but they have strength and they utilized it with greatly. Total credit goes to Sahibzada farhan who performed outstandingly. He scored 106 runs in 57 balls and remained not out till end. To chase a highest total not easy but they released pressure and played with stress free mind. They chased 225 run in 18.4 over. On the other hand Hyderabad Kingsmen batting was outstanding but they bowled very poor. Almost every bowlers showed very poor performance. They should work on bowling performance. Because if you do batting well then bowling performance matters also. Only batsman could not win the match.

The 11th match of the PSL ended with a victory for Lahore Qalandars against the Multan Sultans. Both teams won two matches and have 4 points each, as both have lost 1 match. In comparison to these two teams, I noticed that whenever Lahore wins, they do so by a very small margin, while when Multan wins, they achieve it by a good margin, showcasing the best performance of the team. In today's match, M. Naeen did a wonderful batting job in the opening position for the Lahore team, scoring 60 runs off 28 balls. The captain of Multan Sultans scored 52 runs off 22 balls, demonstrating aggressive batting and doing his best to secure the victory.

In the end, the overs of the match were reduced to 13 overs, actually today's match was very enjoyable, but I missed the 2nd innings. Anyway, the target of 185 runs in 13 overs was very big which was not easy to chase but Multan Sultans came close to winning and in the end Lahore won by 20 runs. However, Multan Sultan's top order batsmen Steven Smith and Josh Philippe both wasted 12 balls and here only 10 runs were added in 2 overs, where every over was very important for Multan Sultans, basically this is where Multan Sultans fell behind. Apart from that, the performance of the other batsmen was not bad. Anyway, I supported the Lahore Qalandars team and the result of the match was as per my expectations.

In comparison to these two teams, I noticed that whenever Lahore wins, they do so by a very small margin, while when Multan wins, they achieve it by a good margin, showcasing the best performance of the team. In today's match, M. Naeen did a wonderful batting job in the opening position for the Lahore team, scoring 60 runs off 28 balls. The captain of Multan Sultans scored 52 runs off 22 balls, demonstrating aggressive batting and doing his best to secure the victory.

The match turned out to be a lot closer than what everyone was expecting, thanks to Ashton Turner and Shan Masood. These two took the match to the last ball, and till the final over the outcome was not clear. It also shows the weakness in Qalandars bowling. Shaheen Shah Afridi went for more than 10 runs per over, and even then he was the most economical bowler. The normally reliable Mustafizur Rahman went for 37 from his 3 overs, while Ubaid Shah and Haris Rauf also leaked plenty of runs. That said, Qalandars have moved to the second position in points table, just behind Karachi Kings.
