Lahore Qalanders Vs Islamabad United

Today's in the Pakistan Super League what a enjoyable game can be seen between and Lahore Qalanders and Islamabad United and Islamabad consistently showing quality cricket and defeated Qalanders onesided by 9 wickets.

Yeh that was truly phenomenal fight between both side, honestly lack of fakhar zaman at top order were really creating trouble for qalanders and that's why even having bat first opportunity to play thier natural game without any pressure or fear situation still they collapse and surprinsgly lose rest of their linue on 100 which was one of lowest target of the tournament before zalmi clash. Anyways Mostly after qalanders innings blame management for such kind of hard tricky low scoring pitches but I think Islamabad innings of chasing required at 10th over answer thier unlogical question properly.

I will give credit to Peshawar Zalmi's excellent performance rather than telling the story of Karachi Kings' failure. Peshawar Zalmi players were excellent in both batting and bowling. First, Peshawar Zalmi lost their first wicket for just 0 runs. But the next time was for Peshawar Zalmi players, in the batting innings, they built a huge collection of 246 runs in 20 overs, relying on the brilliant innings of Kusal Mendis, Babar Azam and Abdul Samad.

In reply, Karachi Kings' batsmen showed a very poor performance, both their openers returned to the dugout for 0 runs and the rest of the batsmen were also very ordinary. But Peshawar Zalmi's bowlers did great, Nahid Rana, Sufiyan Muqeem and Iftikhar Ahmed all took three wickets each. Among them, Nahid Rana was outstanding, taking 3 important wickets for just 7 runs in 4 overs.

Karachi Kings already lost the match as they allow such a high target to Peshawar Zalmi. I was not expecting such a bowling performance from them. When they won the toss, they had to bat and score as many runs as possible. Compared to the second innings, the first innings is much better, as players are more relaxed and rested. Peshawar Zalmi took the chance and started their massive performance after the fall of the first wicket. A 191 run partnership was formed between Babar Azam and Mendis, and Babar remained not out, which was more enjoyable for me as he is my favorite player and performed well in today's match. Congratulations to the Peshawar Zalmi team and its supporters in advance..

First Peshawar took the bat and set a very impressive target of 259 run. Two players named Kusal Mendis and Babar Azam both scored almost half of their run. But on the other hand, Karachi Kings, who came in fresher or for some other reason, scored only 87 runs. All the players were out. There are many players who have shown excellent batting in every match during this thing. But perhaps the team with which this match was played is a better team and it showed them failure and they won this match themselves. Talented players like Azam Khan and Salman Agha also failed in this match. Maybe the bowlers of the other team were quite good or they will take this match lightly.

Lahore Qalanders opens inning first with Muhammad Naeem and Haseebullah Khan and both the openers don't played well and don't gives a positive start to the team and Haseebullah just scores 19 runs and also Muhammad Naeem lost his wicket early on duck and in middle order all the batting order was panicked and only Sikanadar Raza stable the innings by playing a defensive knock of 25 runs and at the end of the innings Queeta set a lowest target

Islamabad United opens inning with Devon Conway and Sameer Minhas and among the openers Devon Conway played a memorable and winning knock of 59 runs and remains not out but Sameer scores just 5 and in middle order with the help of Faiq's 34 runs  Islamabad can easily  chase the target successfully and won the game

This was easy and one side game of ipl series and LQ vs IU game was played today today at National Stadium. IU team won toss and they opted bowling first and gave batting to opponent team LQ. LQ batsmen batted so poor today and set 100 runs target only in 20 overs by losing all wickets. Sikandar batsmen only showed some better effort and made 20+ runs and mostly LQ batsmen performed poor and made poor as well like 0, 2, 4 etc. Chris bowler got player of game award and he really deserved this award and took down 3 wickets in 4 4 overs and 19 runs. IU team chased target completely and won game by 9 wickets and 58 balls. Devon made brilliant half century 59 runs in 35 balls and hitted seven 4s and three 6s. That's was easy win for IU team and they won 3 games in a row and did great comeback in psl.

After Mohammad Haris went back to the pavilion in the first over, these two completely dominated the innings. Also need to mention about Abdul Samad, who made a very important 40 from just 12 balls towards the end.

Karachi Kings were unbeaten till yesterday, as karachi Kings won the 1st 3 matches, so I didn't expect such a poor performance from them yesterday. The bowlers of Karachi Kings bowled uncontrollably and the batsmen also batted irresponsibly. However, peshawar zalmi are unbeaten so far this season, as they have played 4 matches and won 3 matches and 1 match was cancelled.

Anyway, I was impressed by the performance of the Bangladeshi bowlers in this match, especially Nahid Rana bowled brilliantly, he took 3 wickets with 7 runs in 4 overs.

Really poor effort by Lahore Qalandars today, they made a pure disaster and got all out at just 100 runs. And at the same time, I want to have answer that why Parvez Hossain Emon was not playing today but still Emon is not the topic, main thing is this was the first match of Lahore Qalandars at the Karachi Stadium so I hope the way they were dominating several games in Lahore, hopefully will do a similar performance in the further matches of this tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi won this match by 159 runs, an amazing and wonderful game of play by them. By the way, I like the way Abdul Samad is playing finishing knock, he is grabbing the opportunities. Peshawar's intent was clear to just hit the score, almost every batter of Zalmi looks for solid shorts, and their batting is so good, but I think later in the tournament, they might face some challenges regarding their bowling attack. They need to focus on it, otherwise, it is a great batting order. They also have to test their bench strength.

So was us, Apart from all the bowlers i enjoyed nahid rana's dominating spell. He was bowling really nice and pace is his main weapon. And not only pace but his length and ball placement is really well too, his action give him these perks i believe. We have also have a pacer like haris rauf but he gets hit for runs because he only has pace and his bowling action is such that he can bowl effectively only when he is biwling towards the feet and on the wicket and thats the area when a batter gets a hold of hits a bowler really bad, and when he tries to bowl bouncers which goes a little against his flow of a great action then he doesnt bowl a bouncer that effectively. So yeah nahid rana has a great action thats why he bowls great and on any length he wants. Many successes to our bangladeshi brother.

Peshawar Zalmi won this match by 159 runs, an amazing and wonderful game of play by them. By the way, I like the way Abdul Samad is playing finishing knock, he is grabbing the opportunities. Kusal Mendis dominated the game just because David Warner gave us the hint that he will use the spin attack. Of course, it is a sweep shot, and if Kusal Mendis can't play sweep shots, then who will play it? He is the master of sweep shorts and also became the first Sri Lankan player to score a full century in HBL PSL.

Peshawar Zalmi VS Karachi Kings

Today Babar Azam was in different mood as he said in the toss that they will utilize the power play, and all the credit goes to Babar Azam in the power play because the balls were not so bad, he knows how to play big shorts and at what stage there is need for running between the wickets, also he was not being so excited after hitting an boundary which is so good because after hitting an six, if you look for another one most of the times, you get out.

Yeah, in Pakistan Super League the game between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi was very enjoyable and Peshawar won the game by the huge margin of 159 runs. Peshawar opens  inning first with Muhammad Haris and Babar Azam and among the openers Baber showing his class by scoring 87 runs inning and unfortunately miss his century but Haris losses his wicket on duck and in middle order Kusal Mendis is in amazing form and showing a very powerful hitting by putting a memorable century and scores  109 runs and also Abdul Samad played very aggressively and prove his power hitting skills by scoring 40 runs and at the end of the innings Zalmi set a huge target of 247 runs.

Karachi Kings opens inning with Muhammad Waseem and David Warner and both the openers played under pressure and both lost their wickets on duck and from start of the innings Zalmi bowlers  completely dominating the Kings batters and all the batters lost wickets early and not a long partenership can be seen but in this panic situation only Azam Khan stay on wicket like a well and played a very defensive knock of 25 runs and at the end of the innings Karachi scores just 87 runs and can't chase the target successfully and Peshawar won the game by the huge margin of159 runs.

The Rawalpindiz have players like Muhammad Rizwan, Usman Khawaja and Muhammad Amir but still they were not able to register any victory in five games. Today Quetta team gave them a target of 182 runs to win the game and in reply the Rawalpindiz team was able to score only 121 runs. It was an easy win today for Quetta team and with two wins the Quetta team is now at 5th position.

The difference was not by just in runs it was in intent and execution as well. Saud Shakeel start the innings well while  Rossouw added momentum at the right time pushing the total to a competitive level. Also jahandad and hassan nawaz played very well. I am curious  why they didnt give chance to jahandad in the previous matches i mean he is a good all rounder last year he played for lahore qalandars as well.
While for Rawalpindi early wickets put them on the back foot and there was no real recovery phase. That is something you cannot afford in T20s especially when u chasing a decent total.

Both new teams Rawalpindiz and Hyderabad are performing very poorly in their first season. Neither team has won single game. Today Rawalpindiz team lost another game and they played total 5 games and did not win any game. In QG vs RWP game, RWP team won toss and they selected field first and gave batting lineup to QG team. QG team batsman is very strong and they set 182 runs target in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Saud Captain of team batted so well and he scored 42 runs in 39 balls and hitted three 4s. Rilee and Hasan batsmen also helped a lot team to win game and Rilee made outstanding half century 53 runs in 42 balls and hitted six 4s and one 6s. RWP team failed to beat QG team and their runs and they chased down only 121 runs. QG team won 18 th PsL game by 61 runs margin and congratulations wom easy game.

Rawalpindi continue his disappointed performance in his first season and losing back to back 5 matches so far in this session and still remain at bottom position on point table. After this win Quetta Gladiators moved to fifth position on point table with only 2 wins out of five matches with 4 points on point table. The man of the Match is Rilee Rossouw for his aggressive batting performance in this match scoring a well deserved half century and added important 53 runs from just 42 balls and assisted Quetta Gladiators to score 180 plus runs on board and easily win match.

This is because of their hard working batsmen and the way they have been tough with the bowling will also affect their strength in the next matches and will also strengthen their success in this league. This is what their entire team has done by playing. Even if their batsmen had not given a strong target of 246, their victory would have been easy because they have also put in a lot of effort in bowling, due to which they have achieved victory by such a large margin. They did not do much carelessness, so some of their batsmen lost 3 wickets and their replacements made such a big target that the Karachi Kings batsmen could not meet and be involved in defeat. This victory of Peshawar Zalmi has put them on top and if Karachi Kings had victory this match, they could have been even above Peshawar, but Peshawar worked hard and strong and will succeed.

After this win Quetta Gladiators moved to fifth position on point table with only 2 wins out of five matches with 4 points on point table. The man of the Match is Rilee Rossouw for his aggressive batting performance in this match scoring a well deserved half century and added important 53 runs from just 42 balls and assisted Quetta Gladiators to score 180 plus runs on board and easily win match.

As weekend is about to end and there are only 2 days left and matches of Pakistan Super League tournament are scheduled during these two days. There will be 2 game tomorrow and 1 game will play on Sunday. After game between Quetta Gladiator and Rawalpindiz total 18 matches have been completed.

I am quite disappointed with performance of Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz teams. Rawalpindiz failed to defeat Quetta Gladiators in 18th match today and lost by 61 runs. After losing their fifth consecutive match, Rawalpindiz is now in 8th position and Hyderabad Kingsmen are just above Rawalpindiz team in 7th position. Multan Sultans are leading rankings with 8 points.

Muhammad Rizwan lost his wicket on the very first ball of the game. He was playing very badly so far and I do not think so that he will recover his form and will make a strong comeback in T20 because right now his fitness is not so good as an Athlete, he is struggling to reflect with his reflexes but at the same time, his game is not so strong anymore as the previous one. The ball was not so good, if Muhammad Rizwan wants and knows how to play, he could only play it for the cover drive, but poor game play.

Yeh PindiZ were really unlucky throughout his recent five matches, like even having one of strongest lineup of the tournament especially in term of bowling but still they lose five of them while target defending, first they got zaman injured and then Naseem too. Morever toss Factor also have damage them hardly and still follow on. It's true that Rizwan were really supportive leader and that we have already seen at Multan how they become champions and several time finalist under his leadership but now some bad evils Spirit were preventing thier way to the victory.
