Hyderabad team was not able to set a big target, they all got out in 18 overs for just 129 runs. If we look at scorecard of Hyderabad team then only three batsmen were able to score runs in double figure. It is an important game for Hyderabad team but they failed to bat well in this crucial game. The game is still not over because we have seen some good bowling from Hyderabad bowlers. In four overs, Zalmi score is 39 runs and they have lost 3 wickets including the big wickets of Babar and Mendis.

The final game between Hyderabad Kingsman and Peshawar Zalmi ends with victory of Peshawar and Peshawar becomes the Champion of Pakistan Super League Eleven. Hyderabad opens innings first and the openers puts a normal start and in middle order Hyderabad batters collapse completely and not a single efficient partnership can be seeing during the innings and only Saim played like gem in this game and played a very mature innings especially in the big game of final but Hyderabad ends the innings with a very low total. Peshawar Zalmi batters takes this target like a very easy task but in actual its not a easy game and the openers collapes very early and during power play Zalmi lost there four important wickets but what a partnership built among Samad and Aaron Hardie and Hardie put a remarkable half century and also Samad played a very aggressive knock in this final and Peshawar won the game and becomes the champions of this season.

This is their second Pakistan Super League trophy in 11 years, with the last one being in 2017. BTW, we need to appreciate the effort from Hyderabad Kingsmen as well. This was their debut season (along with Rawalpindiz). Although they faced some initial setbacks, they came back strongly in the second half of the group phase. And then won two consecutive playoff matches to qualify for the finals. Marnus Labuschagne is widely thought about as someone who is not suitable for T20 cricket. But he did a decent job, both with the captaincy and with his own individual performances.

Rawalpindiz team just won one out of ten games they played and HHK team also had bad start of the tournament where they lost first 4 consecutive games but they came back well after losing initial games. Labuschagne has played just one T20I for Australia and he is considered as a test player but he proved his captaincy skills in this PSL. HHK was in good form after winning two playoff matches but failed to sustain the pressure of the final match. Babar Azam and Mendis batting played major role in PZ wins throughout the tournamnet.

Yes, you are right Peshawar Zalmi is amazing performance so far in this tournament so far and they are hot favourite now to win championship of PSL this session. Hyderabad Kingsmen disappointed batting performance in the most important match of PSL and they only score 129 runs in first inning of the match. Peshawar Zalmi current score is 104 runs in a loss of 4 wickets in first 12th over of the match they needs just 26 runs from 47 balls to win this match and their chances of winning the final is higs because required run rate is under 6 run per over. Aaron Hardie playing a responsible knock in difficult situation of match scoring 48 runs so far from only 32 balls and they are very closed to his well deserved half century and Abdul Samad also supporting the team and very likely Peshawar Zalmi will win this final

So, final match of Pakistan Super League competition was played today and Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen squad qualified for this final fight. Hyderabad Kingsmen top order batters performed better than their middle order and bottom order batters. and their chances of losing had increased significantly by end of their inning. However, When Peshawar Zalmi started their inning badly and it seemed Hyderabad might still have possibility to win. But target was too low if it had been around 160 or 170 than Hyderabad Kingsmen squad might have won. Abdul Samad  and Aaron Hardie  batters played impressive batting inning and both were top scorer of this match and collected 56 and 48 scores respectively. Aaron Hardie played crucial in bowling as well and he managed to pick up 4 significant wickets. With 5 wickets and 28 deliveries, Peshawar Zalmi squad successfully emerged final victory and won 11th season Trophy.

Peshawar wasnt that avtive in the drafting and auctions and i myself thought they are not well prepared for the PSL but i along with many people were proved wrong. Babar Azam, Nahid Rana, Kusal Mendis and Sufyaan Muqeem are my players of the tournament, in every game they played they impacted it alot and lead their team towards victory. Ali raza also played a big part, now we know that babar’s captaincy is not the problem its the players that are with him are, i hear he was offered international captaincy but i dont think he will accept. Overall feels good to se him lift the PSL trophy, His First as a captain and with such dominance.

Yeah you might have one to two boundaries but it is much better to have single and doubles and then six with it , understand the point.

Well, I think those who are not Babar Azam fans can't feel this movement. It's not just a trophy, it's the hopes, the happiness, and the trust that his fans have in him, and he proved it. The Peshawar Zalmi's performance was so good that it wasn't shown on screens, but behind the scenes, they were fully prepared, as they had already decided that if they made it to the final, they would call Nahid Rana, which shows the foresight of Javed Afridi.

Yeah, Babar's captaincy has never been the issue, it was the players with him who acted according to their own understanding. Those who had doubts about Babar's performance and captaincy, for which they criticized him, hopefully got their answer..

Yeah, the way we are praising the performance from the Peshawar Zalmi in this Pakistan Super League I think we should also praise the Hyderabad kingsmen team as well because that they are the best surviving team in this PSL.
Because they were in a very bad situation at the beginning where they lost their first four matches in a row. And in most tournaments in such a situation, it is seen that the team is eliminated in the first round but here Hyderabad Kingsmen have performed well from the fifth match till the last.

Babar Azam is great player because he has class and he is a top run scorer in this match and he made 588 runs and no other player broke the record of him and he is a key player who is playing well for the team in every match. Peshawar zalmi deserve this title and they won this title at the end because Hyderabad Kingsmen performance was very weak in the final And they made only 129 in the final and opponent team chased the target very easily in just 15 overs . Aaron Hardie was a top performer of the final match and he made half century for the team and took 4 important wickets when it was requirement of the team.  He played with strike rate of 143 in this match which was good according to the requirement of the match.

This match was played between Hyderabad and Peshawar in which Peshawar team showed striking performance due to which they were able to win this match. Hyderabad team has set a target for their opponent team which was enough for the next team to win. This target can be achieved very easily. From their team, Saim Ayub has scored increased his team's target and their opponent team has achieved 130 while chasing the target. From their team, Aaron Hardie has also scored 56 while remaining not out. The rest of the players have also played well due to which they have been able to win this match by just one run which is a very good performance. Abdul Samad has also supported his team by scoring 48 which is a good thing. The pitch was also good to play due to which they were able to score without any obstacles

It's a great suggestion but on Field captain think in different way for team far better then us as they were aware of condition as well as situation, morever Marnus Labuschagne hasn't much experience of managing things at shorter format as he hasn't lead team at t20. But they way samad were smashing I think captain can't take risk of pushing his fielders inside circle instead of allowing him to take charge and catch him down at boundary fence, Anyway it's was a great game and truly a dream come true moments for Peshawar zalmi because the last time they secure trophy was 9 season ago.

Gate collection broke all records, and there was considerable viewer interest outside Pakistan.

Aussies selectors might consider him for their T20 squad after seeing his good captaincy and batting in PSL. Spectators were not allowed in initial matches but this restriction was later removed. This PSL is defiantly a big success for PCB and Pakistan cricket, we have seen good participation from foreign players and above all its the local population that has fully enjoyed the event. Babar Azam has played good cricket in this PSL and hopefully he will retain this form in international cricket.

Honestly this season has been great for Nahid Rana. PSZ team had 3 Bangladeshi players in the squad so I am happy that PSZ are champions.

This was 2nd time Peshawar Zalmi team won tournament. After many defeats at end Babar Azam lift the trophy 1st time. This moment was very special for him. Unfortunately he couldn't play well. But since it was lowest so this was not tough for them. They could chased it easily and they did this. Abdul Samad batting showed magnificent. They tried to won the match as soon as possible but they chased this total in 15.2 overs and lifted the trophy with great courage and patience. On the other hand Hyderabad team wanted to gave highest total for chasing and they played with this mindset and due to fast playing they lost many important wickets early. In final match you should have plan and then execute it properly but they showed poor performance and opponent team got advantage of this mistake and they won the match easily.

Finally, another Peshawar Zalmi player's name needs to be mentioned here and that is Kusal Mendis. He has also performed well for Peshawar Zalmi throughout the tournament.

Yeh baber did phenomenal through out tournament but unfortunately failed to continue his show at final to entertain his fan properly, but Hardie does and deliver a complete all-rounder performance like took bunch of crucial wicket and then a heroic innings as well as partnership till end to get the required. Definitely such momentum will really help baber at upcoming test series against Bangladesh and more expectedly at upcoming ODI world. Morever it's great initiative to turn things toward auction and spread things to 8 team as it will definitely attrack big name as well as extend the entertainment level but first they should reconsider the team purse for auction.

You are right Bazar Azam is one of the great player in cricket history especially in Pakistan. Although in this Pakistan super League I thought that he will be the most impactful investment but he is right now on the second most impactful investment and the first one is Kushal mendes who is also from the Peshawar Zalmi.
But on the other hand Babar Azam maintain the other things that he is the top run scorer in this Pakistan super League 2026. And that's why after checking over all all the things I actually say that the Babar Azam deserve this cup on his hand

It's a long journey of struggle and dedication for baber Azam to lift any trophy as a leader, because at his professional career he lead several teams at national and international stages but failed and almost took 11 year to secure trohphy while at the same time his franchise took 9 years too so it's a combined effort which lead to be the champions of the season.
No doubt mendis as well as Hardie was one of thier worthy investment as a overseas and that's how baber got confidence to show his magic. Anyways some source claim baber was offered again to lead t20 national team and honestly that will be great opportunity for him to conquer some international trophies, but at the same time such responsibility may create trouble for him again too.
