[CHARITY] Improving lives through Bitcoin - Bitcoin gathering in church

I've been following some threads and I've gotten so much interest in the good works they've done to bringing in tye knowledge of Bitcoin to their various communities either in churches or schools or even a local gathering and I also took the same route to getting more of this crypto knowledge to my local community through my local church.
I have a personal charity foundation (not registered though) and we have been in function since 2019 and I think it will be nice to Introduce this to my family out here too and I was able to hold a local gathering yesterday in my church and despite yesterday being a week and working day, people were still able to turn up and I intend running my foundation on two major goals which includes

CORE GOALS
~ impacting primary knowledge of Bitcoin to the community
~ helping improve lives through Bitcoin.

These are the major goals I intend to build my foundation in and I could get some way to help as you will never know what the next person might be going through except you give a listening ear.
My address is on my profile for those who will want to help and full details if everything will be given at the end of March to enable us distribute whatever we could afford to those in need of it.
Thanks in advance and the thread is open for suggestions and contributions to how best we could run this together.

Below are pictures of the meeting we had and the people wanted medical checkups on blood pressure, blood sugar level, eyes, malaria & typhoid, HIV & AIDS, pregnancy test and the rest of them and we also concluded that we'll share some sanitary pads and toiletries and these were out agreement and we hope to bring this to success by the end of March or even before them if we have the means.

Good work Bruv, I love to see people that loves to spread the awareness of bitcoin in whatever way they can. I don't understand the pics you are showing us,where are you in the picture, you are suppose to sit in front or stand in front to address your church members, instead I can only see an empty space and your church altar.

Did you sit behind the people you are teaching about bitcoin. Secondly, why didn't you show us your the write up of what is on the paper one of the members held. I am only seeing a paper with your name and not your write ups. Take note of all these and next  time, you should do better than this.

To say the fact this could have been an interesting step of action to take in helping others understand bitcoin especially on a gathering that can gives you access to discuss bitcoin to people on a regular basis maybe after the church, but the bad side of this all is that i don't think am convinced you're intended on doing this to the people on sit because the pictures taken were not on action pictures, it's not evident enough to believe that's exactly what's been done, besides we got a number of people claiming to have gone through this same process with no tangible evidence convincing to believe them.

It is good to see that awareness has begun to spread among individuals, especially with the existence of few mechanisms for them to fight inflation, or at least not to lose their savings. I hope that the definition of Bitcoin as a network and as an idea far from central systems.

This ur a very nice work out this is really what all newbies want to create for future reference.l, this along show how much you love bitcoin and what others to benefit from it, it's well a great idea making your church members to per take in bitcoin investment and to let them know it not a scam. I will say it a job well done from your.
I guess with this method of yours will motivate us to do more in our local societies to make Bitcoin known and how it can help alot of individuals to make Bitcoin a part of there business help them know the risky and the any other protocols that needed to be acknowledge for bitcoin.

I'm so sorry for the pictures mate and I will try to get someone to assist me take pictures rather than doing it myself and beside this was a picture taken before the commencement of the talking stage as I felt that was the only time I might have to take pictures and we were able to discuss some important issues and I'm already working on how possible I'm hoping to run this and I will glad if you're also open to support see the vision come to a smooth manifestation.

Yes this is Nigeria and this post wasn't really intended for a show off as we really wanted to run all this things without bringing it online as I have always believed that charity work isn't a mandatory work and someone else shouldn't be bothered over making any donations but I do think most of our people truly needed help but had no one to run to and I'm trying to create first an enabling environment where one feels safe to express themselves and outside the exercise we want to embark on now, were also hoping on skill acquisition before second quarter of the year if things works out well.

Thank you so much senior for tye nice comments and recommendations but I wasn't seated behind the attendants but I was rather the camera man as everything was ran solely by myself and I hope to get some other persons to work with me when next and I felt I had to take these pictures before the meeting starts properly as that was the only free time I thought I would have.

OP you said your charity organization is yet to be registered and it has been running for long. Would it not be nice you take a bold step in getting it registered so you could not be limited to work in big ways when the time avail itself in the nearest future. Secondly if it were to be a registered organization it would have been ok but as you have said how would you generate funds when you have already told us your organization is not registered anyways it is better you had said it earlier so everyone donating would have knowledge and the position of your organization. You have done good job op. It is nice you took such task upon yourself.

Thank you so much for your nice words mate and my works are selfless and I ought to be sincere to let people know that we're not yet fully registered but hoping to do so and initially it's not an easy one for me as I've been trying to source for funds and it haven't been an easy one.
We're also looking towards changing the first course of outreach and we're also looking and considering giving out sanitary pads to young females just to create more awarenesses and puberty related sensitization.

This is really what we need more at base levels and people like you who are spreading awareness among locals about bitcoin.Through these manners more and more people will come to know about decentralised currency and how it could help them make profits in the future or even use it as payment source without any fiat involvement.So once again I really appreciate your efforts for doing such things and spreading more awareness among your people.

I believe this year would be your foundation's fourth year if you started it in 2019. Why have you not tried to register it since then? But well, it's a good initiative you took to help impact lives with the knowledge of Bitcoin and the free medical care and other things you intend to distribute to them by March. Care to share with us the steps you are planning to make so that these goals are met?  It may also help some of our fellow members if you share your strategy for meeting those goals since many of the members like to do the same thing.  Are you planning to setup a store that accepts Bitcoin and hire them to assist in your Bitcoin-accepting store?  Or are you teaching them how to invest or trade in cryptocurrency?  If you do, just make sure that you had make clear that there is always risk involved when investing in Bitcoin.

Anyway, good job on exerting effort in order to help Bitcoin to propagate.

serjent05 has a good point about the primary knowledge of Bitcoin and what that means to the op, but as for helping improve the lives of others, I assume it's about using Bitcoin as a currency to buy access to essential goods and services the op mentioned to those in need either through using Bitcoin directly or using the donated money to buy fiat and then get to the improvements?
In any case, it's a great thing to do, as helping those in need is never a bad idea, and using Bitcoin for it also means contributing to the usage of Bitcoin and its positive reputation.

Teaching about bitcoin and also improving the life's of other with bitcoin is something you don't Come in life every day ,bitcoin can be used in different ways in which is beneficial to us but every one has its view towards their approach of spreading the good deeds about bitcoin and yours I feel is unique and I hope you keep continuing this great work you have started.

I'm always happy to see people giving back to their society, so well done. But when I see a subject like this and I view people who are been introduced to this bitcoin I just begin to think if the direction is not wrong. From the pictures shown and charity stuff, these are people you are rendering help to some of them don't even have browsing phones not to talk of any money for investment.

The intention wasn't actually directed towards introducing them to Bitcoin but rather to discuss the pressing issues affecting the local community around me and this was a meeting comprising of both the old and the young and we wanted running a free medical checkups and give out free drugs but the recent financial crisis in the country didn't permit such, so we had to take a break and re-strategize and come up with something tangible and we also concluded on visiting the orphanage home and I'm planning on using the earning from my signature campaign to give back to the society and I wish people can turn up to assist me accomplish this.
