Yeah i feel you right, because if the gambler continues to hold his funds, he will definitely use the money to gamble more and expect more winning but that may be the opposite of the case as i have seen because I can boldly say it's  very difficult when you gamble to save as i am a victim of this.

I am not a victim of this, but I am still thinking about people that will gamble and think they can earn and save money from gambling, they may be happy today because they gamble and win and thinking they are saving. But what about tomorrow, they may lose and what would most probably happen is that they see that the money they think they are saving are all gone to gambling and also the money they have may go too to gambling. It is better not to think of gambling like that because gambling is not a means to save. It make sense that you realized this.

because not all gamblers do not have savings, in fact, many of them have business its wrong to generalize and assume that if someone is a gambler he has nothing.

In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. I don't think this is a fact if you have some sort of survey that will prove your opinion then post it here, it's hard to judge gamblers based on what you see alone, I don't think our Nigerian brothers are like, I like one of our Nigerian brother here to disprove this.

Gambling should not be engaged if one does not have self-control or know the rudiment of gambling and how to engage it with caution and careful plans. Gambling can ruin someone's life if care is not taken, but it's fun too and could even make one earn money consistently if approached well.

Those gamblers you referred to do not know this, and it's always late for them to realize that gambling will not make them rich. It could make a negligible fraction of people rich when luck shines on them. So, those that want to gamble should plan their life according to their income, so that they will know the amount for living, savings and gambling in order to make a balance in their lifestyle.

Those gamblers are really addicted because they choose to gamble instead of bring food in the table for their families. And just like that they are willing to put everything on the line, hoping that one day they will provide good living for their family if they won big on gambling.

But we all know that you need extreme luck to be able to pull that one. And the odds are pretty much stack against us and gamblers should know that. Unfortunately, this is gambling and there are such kind of people who don't save or who doesn't care about their future and their families future as well.

We indeed need to save for the future because the world is unpredictable. But the reason why most gamblers in Nigeria don't have savings is that their income is not even enough to meet their basic needs. They just gamble with the little they can get from their low income and they are left with nothing. Another reason might be because of gambling disorder. Most gamblers are addicted to gambling that they don't mind using their entire income to gamble. I think savings is more important than gambling, that's why people need to consider putting aside some funds regardless of how little, for the future.

There are two type of gambler exist

an addicted one
and a gambler in control of everything

An addicted gambler mostly bet all they have and don't care about tomorrow since they think YOLO then bet everything they have to satisfy their needs to gambler then try to win some big amount because they believe that they can earn huge money on this program.

 And gambler which can control everything is very well discipline for sure they can balance their finances thru where they use it then provably they have savings or anything they can use when there's something emergency situations.

Imagine if you have savings and you're really addicted to gambling, do you really think if you lose you won't open up that savings? I think it's a given and only a few gamblers who does have savings and it doesn't necessarily on your country, there are lot of countries who does the same thing. They are taking the risk to gamble it thinking they could sum it up even more but the reality is, almost of the time they are on the losing side.

That's not entirely true and it will depend on each person on how they manage their financial needs.
I do gamble, but I have savings and that money will not be moved unless there's an emergency or there is a bigger necessity coming up. It won't be used for my gambling activity or any of my hobbies and habits.
For this to happen there must be firm discipline. Those who are relying on their luck in gambling by spending all their hard-earned money are not responsible gamblers. There should always be something left for the family's necessities, bills, and even a bare amount to be saved. If those things cannot be done then they don't deserve to gamble. Yet.

Who say gamblers don't have savings or are your talking about addicts who does not have control er their gambling activities, I am also from Nigeria and I know quite a good number of people who are making good money from gambling most especially sport betting.
_I know someone who won about 50 million naira on sportbet and he is doing well with his life using the money infact he never bet again since then till now and this thing happen over a year ago.
So is not all gamblers that are broke, even though majority of others are not doing well in terms of financial management,  by in this new era there using their senses to analyze and pick their interest with sense.

And they are addicted in gambling as like as drug .
Gambling is not that bad things from my point of view but nothing good comes in excess. They were very addicted in gambling and also a big greedy ness in their mind that's why can't have savings. Because they bet repeatedly to win and get money.
I think there is nothing wrong with gambling if you take it as a  entertainment purpose and it will be better if you have a fixed amount of fund for a certain time for your gambling.

Not all gamblers dont have savings and gambling is not a reasonable excuse for being irresponsible in life, even some people who don't gambles finds it difficult to save up money for themselves, savings is a culture that needs to be developed by an individual to help them manage their life well, but unfortunately bot everyone has this ability.

So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack.

Consider every gambler with his own kind of character that needed to be acceptable or unacceptable by others, some can give naturally while some don't sees it a responsibility to do even to their family members, to me that's selfcenterdness and gambling is not an excuse as well, they chose not to give from their heart or don't want to be responsible but rather being selfish.

Though not all gamblers are like these but most of the gamblers (me included) don't save for the future as they won't gamble anymore if that is the thinking of a person that gambles. In doesn't happen only in Nigeria but mostly on developing countries where the population are dominantly poor.

But as we aged, we learned from our past mistakes due to gambling and because of that we tend to become more of a responsible gambler and not gamble everything that we have as if there is no more tomorrow.

It's really very concerning my friend. That case happens a lot among gamblers. Not only in your country but in various countries also experienced the same thing.

Gamblers like that for me are not worthy of being called gamblers. Gambling is a game to test luck with various types of games available. Gambling is also entertainment for us so we should not lose our minds by ignoring other needs such as the needs of the family.

That is where many causes of family breakdown occur, starting from divorce cases, theft and other things in order to get money so that you can gamble. That is why I say seriously that such a person is not worthy of being called a gambler.

Isn't it obvious? They prioritize their gambling addiction more than anything?
They might be aware of it but their addiction is too strong for them to control.

as a society is divided between social classes such as: poor, middle class (not poor and not rich) and the rich, so you can already imagine that the middle class guy and the rich when they go to a casino they can play with a lot money and lose a lot of money and the next day they manage to recover the lost money thanks to the fact that they are people with many companies they profit every day with their real world or online business

I believe you can research rich people who play in casinos, there is drake who is a very rich singer and who already has money to live until he dies and who can help many people if he wants to, he plays at stake.com and that doesn't hurt him nothing in case he loses money because as I said before he and so many rich people make money constantly that it doesn't hurt them to go play in casinos using a lot of money

You cannot speak for all gamblers and make a general statement that clearly is an assumption. It is only the irresponsible gamblers with a problem that do not have savings. There are still some gamblers who gamble with only the money that they have allotted for gambling for that month and when it is exhausted, they do not go ahead to touch their savings. If you are a gambler and you have a problem saving, you can send money in bits to somewhere that will be difficult for you to access should you need cash, or to a trusted someone that can hold your money safely for you, although you should be careful with the second option.

I don't agree with this your concept about gamblers maybe except in your country and I've heard and seen so many stories of gamblers who are doing incredibly well and taking very good care of their families and meeting up with their daily and family responsibilities.
I was also wondering how you got to know that this gamblers don't take care of their families ad I was wondering to asking if you know anyone personally who doesn't take care of their families and don't you think it will be wise you walk up to such a person to know the reason to why he isn't taking care of his family but still have the money to gamble regularly and I think that makes you a patriotic citizen.
