I think this question would have different answers from culture to culture. As far as I observe, people from rather rich and developed countries gamble for fun. Profits are seen as extra. They mostly enjoy the show so losing is part of the game.
But people from underdeveloped countries are completely different. They seek money, profit. They are more prone to addiction. Its all about how people struggle in life. Some people are cool headed. Some want quick bucks.

Well you are right, those are not so rich tend to gamble and gamble because they are thinking that gsmbling can give them huge sum of money and can give them the life that they are wanted, where in return it only makes them addicted and don't have a saving in the future. Rich people sometimes really used gsmbling to have fun but still rich people are not exempt from this, there are still rich people that using their savings and business as their collateral sometimes.

Those who don't have savings are people who feel like they don't have anything to lose. And when they win big they spend all that money and do not save a penny, then they will be broke until another big win comes. That's how they roll. Risk it all to go big or go home.

I saw gamblers in real life, not crypto gamblers, but those that have won something big and they were able to save some for future purposes and some even have made business from their profits.

There are many things comes up to our mind if we think about it but For me it depends on the gambler itself if he/she addicted to gambling then we can say that they don't have any savings they don't have peace on mind cause if they are addicted and when they loss then for sure they are very hot-tempered small mistake goes big. While if a mild gambler then they have have enough money for thier daily needs and wants but don't have savings and if a small time gambler who gamble for fun the for sure they have a good savings .

Not many things but all of us have a one thing in common for this and that is none other than to just gamble and hoping to win more money. If we fail, we just try and and try but win or lose, we always keep on coming back to the casino because we think this is part of our lives already. I know there are still other fun and profitable things out there but there's this different feeling that we always look for in gambling.

I think the only way to force ourselves to save up is to store money away from our eyes or our hands, like don't put money in your phone but put money inside a vault or in a bank. If we put money in a bank we cant also touch it because banks won't allow gambling related activities.

Not to generalize. Not all gamblers have no savings. Maybe some of the Nigerian gamblers have some savings, you just didn't met them yet. Some of them in crypto have savings after all the gamblers in crypto are also investors who kept some stash not just BTC but some other altcoins.

Well where I live they say that "He who does not risk does not win", and to tell the truth, we all know that there are always risks in everything, in our life, apart from casinos, everything is a risk and we decide if we risk or not, what sometimes we think a lot about what we will lose, that is what blocks us, of course it is not that we risk everything and be left with nothing, because it would be a unique irresponsibility, but if we can affirm something, in the casino as in life we have We have to risk more to be able to see the good results, otherwise I think we will never have something, if we can, it doesn't matter, we will have a good learning experience, and always get ahead.

This is true, only those who are responsible enough can have a good life outside gambling and yes they are the ones who have savings since they know how to handle their finances. Don’t expect that much to a irresponsible gamblers, usually they are already addict in gambling and can’t control their finances. Savings is a big thing, and if you are going to gambling make sure you only use extra money because if not, then your finances will be in trouble this is why budgeting is very important as well.

They are players that prepare all the funds they have for gambling and such people focus mainly on gambling than any other thing. They see gambling like a full time job, a source of income, so it's their business and not pleasure anymore. But, such a life is not recommendable for any gambler as it won't help them on the long run. They could lose out on every fund they've budgeted for gambling which could lead to depression. You made mentioned of Nigeria and that caught my attention, I wouldn't say your argument is false, it could be that your fact is coming from your circle but I can assure you that I know people who take gambling as a business and they do risk management every day, they know their budget and how much to stake, how much they are willing to lose and also know their limits for the day, they don't just play to earn, they have a foundation and channels they support the street financially because only a street knows a street.

You might heard of the famous Nigeria Sporting bet guy name Ekitipikin, this guy has won millions and millions multiple times, even last week, I witnessed it my self as I also won from his betting code, he is living his dream, nice house and also other business he is running from all the money he won from gambling, so get your facts right before you say things.

Probably there is no stable source of income and those gamblers are hoping to get some money in gambling so they can finally have the money but the result is not good always. Having your savings and emergency fund is a must, you must not prioritize gambling if you still struggling with your finances. Many gamblers failed to have savings because they are too greedy, this has been the problem since then and its happening around the world.

Considering and looking on how gambling industry becomes bigger as years passing which does solidly indicates that there are lots of compulsive gamblers who do keep on feeding and keeps these business to make more

money on which casino platforms whether online or physical ones do really increase out numbers due to peoples behavior on keep on playing even they are already using up their life savings.I do even see that there are poor ones who do really become that desperate on hitting something on the time that they do play.They do make out spending of their finances which it is really totally opposite on what they are

Yea, gambling, just like crypto investment, is advised to be done with what one can afford to lose, and that is also the same advice that goes for gamblers: to always gamble with what they can afford to lose. There are some gamblers that I know who have a good job that they are doing and earning big money from, providing their families with what they need, but each time you see them at the casino, you might not even believe they are rich duds. Based on my research, there are 7 types of gamblers (read about them here), of which compulsive gamblers are the ones most likely to fall into the category you claim, although professional gamblers may have gone through some stages of frustration but with tolerance they scale along.

The answer is simple  addicted gambler doesn't want to leave game without recovering losses. If you add house edge and other external factors, it makes sense why many gamblers keep losing in the long run.  Unless your friend learns how to manage gambling activity, it will be very bad for him with playing same gambling strategies. I know some friends who lost life savings because of slots owe him a max win, it is endless loop, IMHO.

Running behind the losses to recover them is an endless loop. Very few move on their own track within the limits, majority just loss control and starts to chase the losses. Compared to the past nowadays people borrowing for the purpose of gambling have decreased. Myself used to gamble what I receive as bonus. Today morning received the monthly bonus and now it's emptied.

All of us want to save but there's some factors that stops us from doing so. Like the moment when we're winning, our emotions are different and makes us feel confident that it's okay not to save from the profits we make.

As much as we want to enjoy, do not forget that when we win it only comes for a few times in a week or two. So, we have to keep a part from that profit and have to make sure that we should be able to take at least the bankroll or capital we started with.

Gamblers still have to remember that and don't let excitement leave you behind.

If you can't control your emotions while gambling, you probably won't be able to finish the game after a big win and lose all your money. Learn to leave the casino a winner, it is very important.

This is not completely true, not all gamblers are useless when it comes to providing for their families, how would you know anyways? Because your bank account is not the same as theirs, for those that only know how to gamble and buy their lottery ticket, it's poverty that makes them so desperate and addicted to gambling, they want a "New Life" by all means, but they are doing it wrong.

Lack of money is the root of all even, and it comes with destruction and advantages as well, but it depends on how you think, too many people become a slave to their thought of buying that one lottery ticket and buying it over and over if it keeps failing.

I am not saying I hate gambling but the truth is, few people make life-changing money from gambling and many people lose their life savings to gambling if it's your thing you need to apply some manners or you will become addicted.

Unfortunately, many people do not realize the potential for losing their money at gambling and instead spend more and more of their money. These people really hope to win big money from gambling, which tempts them to keep playing.

But there are indeed gamblers who are still able to save for their future and their family, and these are responsible people in gambling, so they don't risk losing too much money. But gambling can indeed make someone unable to have savings, especially a gambler who is addicted to gambling because he only wants to use his money to gamble without thinking about anything else.

If the gambler has no other income or is not working to make ends meet, it is unlikely that he will not have any savings because of where he gets the money to gamble from. A gambler can be seen from his condition unless he is rich, has a business or other job that generates money. I'm sure they have some savings even if it's not from gambling, and even though there may be a small percentage it will run out again as they continue to play.
and if a gambler's income only relies on winnings from gambling I don't think he has any savings, unless he wins big or the jackpot and he will definitely put it in the bank. However, it will continue to be used for gambling.
Responsible gamblers are simply those who have other sources of income and also limit their gaming to honor their hard earned money.
