List of Delisted Alts from KuCoin!!!

The below assets have been delisted from KuCoin which means any moment from now withdrwal will be closed as well. Anyone who is holding any of these assets in KuCoin should act quickly before it is too late.
I would say this type of situation is reason why some alts are not good for long term investment because as new potential projects keeps coming up, some existing ones are fading out slowly because they are not able to keep up with the speed at which things operate in the crypto world.
I must say among all these coins, am a bit disappointed about sov being among the list, those who pariticipate in the signature campaign will understand what i meant. Too bad the team where too greedy in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing this information on the forum, mate. This is very useful for holders who don't know that these tokens are delisted from KuCoin. I wonder why among those on the delist there are projects that I think are quite promising, such as TomoChain (TOMO), Tokocrypto (TKO), Aavegotchi (GHST), Augur (REP), Bancor (BNT), Alpaca Finance (ALPACA) and Mobox (MBOX).

This update is helpful for newbies who want to gamble with altcoins to avoid the trap of getting into delisted coins.

On of my friends who want to make quick profits recently bought some altcoin instead of Bitcoin as advised, and surprise to us two of the coin he invested in can't be fund on any exchange,  as there doesn't have a trading volume on the only exchange their claim to be listed on.

Or the team behind the coins are corrupt or could not meet some desirable requests from KuCoin? Knowing the reasons could help some holders of the coin to continue holding in some other exchange or sell the token/coin outright.

There’s a reason why they get delisted, and they are fully aware about that rules with exchanges, I’m not sure if these projects are too bad or they are already done hyping the project. Being delisted will result into a negative impact on that project, they should have prevented this from happening but maybe its already beyond their control. If you are holding some of this altcoins, better to withdraw it now before its too late.

I have not heard of any of these coins, but whatever currency represents a great opportunity for you, if it is not listed on at least 10 crypto exchanges with good liquidity, you risk losing your investment in something that you may not be able to sell in the future.

Unfortunately, your chance now is to sell for a price much lower than its advertised price, and therefore today loss is better than a future loss.

Yeah, I was opportuned to participate in the sovryn signature campaign years back, but majority of the tokens I am not familiar with, I figured someone here may find the list useful and quickly take action.

Thanks for the head-up. It seems like none of the small-cap projects that i am holding is affected this time. KuCoin has always been the big exchange that was listing the most small coins in my opinion and i also think this helped KuCoin to become one of the biggest exchanges today, because i would guess a lot of those holders of those small project only had KuCoin as a reliable exchange to trade and afterwards they have sticked around and kept on using Kucoin.
Obviously from time to time you have to make a checkup and if a project has almost no trading volume anymore, then the exchange will delist it, because otherwise it is just lost money for them because they have to keep supporting it even though they are not making money from trading fees with it.

Kucoin is an okay exchange for a lot of "mid-level" tokens but delisting here isn't probably not that detrimental. Majority of the volume for most of delisted tokens most probably come from "DEX".

Maybe they really do not have a solid long-term plan or vision for the project to begin with that's why they're struggling to keep up. They can give you roadmap or whatever but the market evolves so fast that their grand goals are crushed by reality.

What does this tell you, most if not all of these altcoins are not for the long term as we have seen always been delisted from this exchange, I also remember when SOV have that huge move back after their bounty campaign and to see that even their exchange, SOV trading has really lost volume.
Most of these tokens I don't know except a few.

There are many reasons to delist a token but i think low trading volume is one of the big reason, and the project teams aren’t active, i don’t know what's others reasons. But i have seen in the list a few coins was very potential and these are too old project. Even CS,PPT,BNT those was top 100 ranked coins.

According to the Special Treatment Rules of KuCoin, the following projects have been disqualified. Special treatment means, in short, that a currency is placed under observation for a specific period to monitor the volume of trading and the volume of liquidity. And as soon as that period expires without progress being noticed, that currency is removed from the list of available pairs. Of course, this has nothing to do with the reputation of the currency, because as we can see, there are currencies for promising projects, but they may not have found enough popularity among Kucoin users:

Once designated as “Special Treatment” by the Exchange, as a warning, there will be a special designation on the Project’s ticker symbol during a specific observation period. Special Treatment is a warning of potential delisting. The ST Project shall be subject to close observation and scrutiny during the observation period.
（2）The Exchange may delist the ST Project if the Project fails to meet the basic liquidity requirements by the end of the observation period.

There are many reasons to delist a token but i think low trading volume is one of the big reason, and the project teams aren’t active, i don’t know what's others reasons. But i have seen in the list a few coins was very potential and these are too old project. Even CS,PPT,BNT those was top 100 ranked coins. 

Its always the trading volume. Since they are an exchange their business relies on transaction fees, and if those project cant have a solid transaction of buying and selling then that means that they arent helping their business. Of course there are terms or extent to that like, durations or warning if they didnt hit trading volume of like this. Cause some of these are probably did pay for listing and they have t&c for that.

I have heard of a few like pivx which was very sensational before when you can have a master node of it. There are other altcoins that I know in this delisted lists. It's not that sad to see them go and not that surprising at all because most of the alts fame really is going out of tune every year that passes by.

Most altcoins are good for short-term speculations and with high risk, because if you are not lucky some of them never do well even on short-term bases, worst more is when you invested in a pre listed coins, there can take an eternity to get listed and most time get investors frustrated.
-And even if you invest in some already listed coins,  there is still a high risk of a dump in price and trading volume.
-The pump schemes most time result in the coins getting delisted from top exchanges.
-So only bitcoin should be taken for long-term investment, not altcoin because there is high volatility in the altcoin market.

Nice ideas from OP sharing about delisting coin from KuCoin and helped me more because I traded not only in Binance but also KuCoin become my second priority exchange for trading actually after listing with altcoin having Primer category. Its seems many altcoin have been delisted from KuCoin and most risking for investing with shit coins because have potential for delisting and price going drop drastically.

I think should be priority not only buy KuCoin's member but also from KuCoin exchange market for listing with new coins and having potential keep existing until for longer time, usually have some coins listed few months only and lower transaction volume due price drop then have decision by KuCoin for delisting on their market.
