I don't have much experience in crypto, and hopefully by joining this group I will get a lot of knowledge about crypto..
and i have little money and plan to buy bitcoin.
but is investing in bitcoin really safe or not? and do many lose from investing in bitcoin or not? I want to hear from all of you...

I guess i would say every investments has its own risk major and same applies to buying of bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency. Before you go into any crypto investments i would first advice you gather thoroughly all knowledge about the crypto space that has to do with bitcoin investment and the forum is just the right place for that. I came as a newbie just like you and didn't know much about bitcoin and the crypto world but the eager nature i had in me to learn, what was gave me so much knowledge about  bitcoin investment which i can boldly say it's lucrative means of growing your money. First you need to know that bitcoin is a volatile currency meaning your investment can go either ways @profit or loss, especially when you bought in a bull market then the price eventually drops drastically resulting to a depreciating capital.

safe or not, profit or loss all depends on you.
it will be safe if you use a device that is indeed safe. I mean you don't use an untrusted origin wallet. or you keep your Bitcoin in the exchange.
Profit or loss is also up to you to decide. Bitcoin is quite a risky investment if you don't have enough knowledge to invest in it. now you ask a good question. that's a start. and you should also know about the market and other instruments that might affect the price of Bitcoin. it will be better support for you before investing.

What I mean is that Bitcoin is safe when your coin is just stored in your wallet, but the risk comes when the value for Bitcoin drops or when you start trading, because trading in Bitcoin involves profit and losses, 100% profit is not guarantee so as the losses..

There is no safe investment either in real life or in the cryptocurrency market. Moreover, you will have the highest chance of losing your money exactly when investing in crypto. But these risks will be lower when investing in bitcoin than when investing in altcoins.

There is risk in any type of business or investment, including Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Nobody can guarantee you a safe investment because Bitcoin is a digital asset with no stable value. However, people are much more comfortable trading and investing in Bitcoin because it is transparent and has a bright future ahead of it considering how it started back then. There is hope on Bitcoin being a safe investment but with the risk involved, it is advisable not to invest the amount you cannot afford to lose.

Everything has risks, if you are not ready to take risks, do not rush to invest, but learn carefully before investing. Among all the investments, bitcoin is considered to be the riskiest, but also the most profitable.

Investing in itself is something that is very risky given the word on itself. Especially that you want to focus on investing in cryptocurrency, going blind without first learning its fundamentals and characteristics would definitely put you on the risk of losing your investment and resources.

Before you invest, I highly suggest that you browse through this forum if you have certain questions that you want to ask (that might have been answered already). There are also tons of information, videos, and books online that you can search. Use all the possible search engines to learn about investing so you could lower the risk of losing your money.
