Rivers state and it's political crisis

Im not really a political fan but I've been following the political threads of rivers state and the crisis so far.
It also seems that the rivers state governor is yet to declare the candidate of his choice and I've been wanting to know if there is any hope for pdp this election as I also heard that the PDP governorship candidate has been disqualified but yet still campaigned yesterday at the eleme mega rally.

Politics too get wahala. River State na pdp state so i feel and know say na still pdp go win because wike no fit allow apc come take the state even if e wan comot as governor. I go use watin happen for my own state cite example, for the first time for years the masses came out and voted for a totally different person not because of party but his personality as a philanthropist and eventually he won and he was part of the opposite party (Apc) so the current government twisted the whole situation and turn things against him and disqualified him as the governor. This thing cause so many problems for my state because everyone voted and loved the apc candidate  but politicians and their game no allow am rule.

From your citation, I guess you are talking about David Lyon of APC.  It is unfortunate that the electorate could not resist them because of the Powers that be, they arm twisted everything against the masses that voted him into power and nothing could be don about it. This is the case of Nigeria politics where the elites do whatever they feel like doing and getting away with it while the people sit, fold their arms and watch doing nothing to protect their mandate. Back to Rivers State, I think this time around it would not be game as usual, the electorates are wiser and can not be deceived anymore. I know they would bring money, they would share money but this time around it will be shared in vain and they would fail woefully.  The issue of retaining the state under one party system is not feasible anymore I think because gone are the days when the people are blinded with one party system but now, it is personality, what are your past track records, what have you been able to do before. All these would definitely speak for each and every one contender come 2023 gubernatorial election.

OP me too no get love for politics but as Rivers State dy like this I no think say some kind suffer suppose dy follow for the citizens body especially now wey to even use our moni be d major problem, instead of our big man wey be the strong govoh to use him power to give order say make nobody reject old moni so that e no go hard us all till this old moni comot on em own but nothing like that at all, chai na wa.
 And again some okoko piple see the situation of things con decide to cos kasala for the State bcos of rally or say election don dy reach, well, lme I no get strength to go dy put eyes where e no go benefit me at all and I no even surprise say things like this dy happen for this State.

From my own perspective, I see this as a political strategy to decieve the people as if they are having issues between themselves which might turn up to be a lie. In secretes they dine and wine together and laugh at the masses that took their media speech serious. Naija you need to use your head reason these politicians, if not them go use your head play their useless games. Nwike knows deep down in him that he is a PDP member but he is angry over his party decisions on picking their heads. All of them na their belle make them dey do anyhow becos say election don reach and who no follow,no go benefit.

The recent political crises in Rivers State has really kept Rivers State very unstable in times of governance, this crises lead to the suspension of the governor of Rivers State by the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for good six months and a sole administrator was appointed. If you watch very well, within this period of six months that governor Siminalayi Fubara was on suspension, Rivers State did not benefit any thing within this period of sole administratorship instead the sole administrator and the people behind the suspension benefited from the Rivers State government.

Finally, the governor Fubara has returned to the seat of the governor and their is still a strong attack on him by tje Rivers State House of assembly pressing very hard to impeach governor Fubara and make his tenor ungovernable and disrupt the peace of Rivers State in terms of governance.

The governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has finally joined All Progressive Party (APC) and has the backing of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu which now makes his impeachment difficult by the River State House of assembly and I believe Fubara will complete his tenor and achieve his purpose as Rivers State governor.

Rivers state is under more siege and pressure coming from these politics. We've witnessed alot already and how these politicians play dirty game all for the sole aim to win and get back to their original seats in government house. The political crisis will never end, I'm sure about that one.

For me, I'm sick and tired of the whole crisis happening in the States and the enemy of the governor, Fubara Sim are not resting. They're doing everything within their position to impeach the current governor of Rivers State. Do you think they're on the verge of succeeding?

You just hit the nail on the head, the entire political tussle in Rivers state is just quest for superiority and godfatherism, Wike feels that because he played vital role in installing the governor that he should be the one incharge, but sometimes things don’t work out exactly the way we plan, yes he tried for the governor but he should also know that the governor is a man too and would want to do certain things his own way, Wike has been winning for sometime now because of his closeness with Tinubu, however, as Fubara has joined APC this past days there have been a twist in the political landscape, 4 assembly members have already started tilting and supporting the governor, it will also be a bit difficult at this point to remove Fubara or stop his second tenure.

Politics is just a dirty game, no permanent winner or loser that’s why peace remains the best option, the governor must find a way and keep his house in order because what ever happens the blame will be on him if the administration doesn’t work, other state governors were also installed by there predecessor so i see no reason why River’s state own should be different, the governor should use maturity and call the Wike and make peace, no one is too difficult to make peace with, its just to know what the person wants and find way to fix things, peace remains the best option, the continuous war is only slowing growth and development and it is not good for the state.

Before today I was expecting that the River crisis will surely comes to an end, when almost four of the state assembly members withdraw from proceeding the investigation against their governor and his deputy, which I was so happy that a good development is coming, this afternoon state Assembly members conduct a sitting proposing to proceed with the investigation which voted and unfortunately the majority or almost all the members voted for the proceeding with the investigation against the governor and deputy governor.

Honestly our leaders are not sincere at all instead of representing us they are busy protecting their own interest serving someone who they should not serve, what is the problem of our leaders, selfish interest has cover all their mind, which was why all these things is going this way, but let's see they are claiming that the governor has Bridge the constitution right, they have to punish him, who in this Nigeria that is even following this constitution, honestly when it's against them they follow constitution but when it favour them they keep quiet.

See guy this is one of the problems we are having in this country I feel a lot of deceiving and theft and corruption hindering secrets, see I feel that those politicians guys are having a lot to do with theft in the country it only God that we come to our rescue self, it very comfortable for this guys to play games with people…
