These days many new crypto coins and tokens are being introduced  and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency makes a good pump in their starting days and after on, they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a very big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens is finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

In crypto, everything is risky.  Another thing is that all the altcoins are following the bitcoins. My suggestion is to do a financial evaluation of each project. Then you will understand the full ecosystem of the project and you can predict its growth of the ecosystem. When it comes to the bull market, all the altcoins are pumped. But In the bear market, most of the altcoins are dumped.  My other suggestion is to invest more in the coins rather than the tokens. Because the coin has its own blockchain. It will receive all the transaction fees. but the tokens are using some other blockchain. If you follow the sentiment of the market cycle, you can find a certain time of the investment.

Yes, of course it is very risky to invest in new tokens or coins. Mainly because there are so many shitcoins or projects with which some developers want to get rich quick. This is the only way to be reasonably sure not to lose money when investing. But even that is not a 100% guarantee. So always be careful when investing. Otherwise it can end badly.

Apparently,new projects are once that comes with a lot of potential as, its at its root, yet to show any promises and as such, neglected for only the risk takers that have got the know how to pick amongst the multitude of them out there. Where the difficulty lies is in your ability to pick. You chose right and you might he up to something but, once you chose wrong, your bound for undesirable consequences.

One who is looking out for a place to invest without risk is one who isn't ready to make profit. For sure there are some investments that comes with certain level of securities but, that doesn't mean there isn't some factors of risks associated. Even bitcoin comes with some level of risks as well.

I don't think it will be a wise decision to invest on new token or coins. You are also right that there are many tokens or coins through which profit can be made but the number is very limited. And currently a large part of scamming by cryptocurrency is scammed and mostly by these new coins or tokens. So I would reiterate to OP that it is not wise to invest in new coins but tokens for the sake of extra profit. And even then if you want to invest on new coins or tokens I would say invest in a very small amount that you won't lose if you lose it.

Although some investors are earning some good cash with new coins still this is really not a good investment option to take, we already know to many scams are now created hiding on those new tokens created so maybe we should lessen up the risk taking idea since non of them really give assurance to earn. Maybe invest only when they are newly listed on exchange since for that we can get a chance to earn if we trade then in short period of time.

Why make yourself stressed if you can lessen it by just investing into top coins. If you don't want to get stressed, just focus on buying Bitcoin. Stress makes a person older.

The market is bombarded with cheap coins and the main reason why people invest in these cheap is greed to get lots of coin with little money. These cheap coins rarely went up and the money get struck here for indefinite period of time. Its better to buy few Satoshis rather then accumulating thousands of shit coins. This liquidity leads to an increase in the currency price in the short term, but it soon ends and the currency returns to zero again.

Nice illustration of what really goes on with these pump and dump schemes that involves new coins with low liquidity level's and clearly this also shows that new coins are all prone to manipulation. And what hurts the most about these is that herd mentality will always shake off strong hands and they end up giving up their positions to join in on the sells to save whatever they can.

Those new project tokens are just good for short term because they are hyped because of new things to them especially on new exchange listing. But once the investor secure their profits already and pull out their imvestment then maybe those new tokens will dump or even worse they might get a hard time to pump again.

To avoid getting trapped with them is to sell when they are new and hype because if we became to greedy for sure we lose our money for that because the dump will possibly follow after those pumps happen to it.

That depends on whether there is good development happening in a new coin project here in the crypto space. As an example, Shibarium (shibdao) was just launched a few days ago, I was too late to participate when it was just starting because its value started at a very low price and all those who bought at that time grew by 1400% now. Although, right now it's down a little bit but it's still high compared to when they did the pre sale but this year it might be 0.14$, so this is just an example of what was said, but still you have to be curious before investing of course.

You will never want that you keep your portfolio limited to the top 10 or top 20 coins while your friends invest in new coins and some coins give them a jackpot of 100 to 1000x returns.
The best way to go about this is to allocate 10% of your portfolio to such new coins so you don't miss out on any opportunity.
