I think new coins are always risky. Because you are not familiar with the new coins in the market and you don't have much idea about these coins. Why would you risk your money by investing in a coin that you have no idea about or don't know well. Many times it is seen that various new coins appear in the market and initially the training volume of that coin is very high and the market cap is very high. When people invest in the new coin, after a few days it is seen that the coin has disappeared from the market.

Basically, all crypto coins are risky. Not only new coins, but old coins are also risky. We don't know how long a crypto coin to survive, it can last a long time or suddenly disappear. There are many cases that old coins become dead coins suddenly. The factors are varied, it can be a very low demand or the developers/teams leave the project suddenly. So, we must be very careful to invest our money both in new coins and old coins. Both coins have almost the same risk level.

New coins can give very good profit because big whales not entered in start. if we take entry and specific token make big partnerships then we will be in bug profit. before entering in new coins we should check the partnerships, Vc, listing cex and idea of project. If all these are good enough then i think its worth to take entry in new coins but we should wait for low rate despite of entering in Fomo

People still have a hard time on trusting the old coins when they first came out. Many thinks they are just scams. Many didn't hold for too long. This is why many people have regretted later on after seeing the coins value have pumped up a lot.

The little information of crypto in the past and as well as experience, makes it difficult to invest in newer coins but now, it's much easier. Many of us can now easily differentiate a scam from the legit ones but the rate at the legit coins spawn have also reduced by a big percent. I think that is because many of them have been released already. There are now plenty of coins in this market. They must stop creating new coins and people shall focus only on the existing ones.

depending on coin that you want to invest, if the project is good then the price will definitely increase very high and is suitable for long term investment (you can get a lot of profit), but of course if a new coin definitely has a big risk compared to old coin, therefore I would rather you to invest in old coin ( if you want a small risk).

specially new projects that mostly run by the same team or person that existing for long years trying to fool people who believes in crypto.

Most of the time they are low marketcap which means that single person can own a lot of it, both buying and selling side as well. Which means that we could end up with a ton of it whenever it comes to that and I am not saying that we should be doing anything worthy of this, I feel like it wasn't really clearly stated at all but that is the reality.

If a token or coin is small enough that I can disrupt it's movement with a million dollars, then it is too small and I won't invest into it. You can sell a million dollars worth of btc, eth, bnb, sol, avax, whatever at the top, and nothing will change but if you do that to small or new ones then it will be risky so I stay away from them.

I see the style that they're doing like whenever there's a new project that becomes a trend, they'll also get on it to get those investors that they've taken. Will make an airdrop and they'll have some graphical content to show how the potential of that new project in creation is endless.
They'll also conduct mainnet testing and that have also become a big factor for the success of those projects that did it but if you'll go notice the style, they'll require fees(of course) to test their network and the reward will be depending on how you've contributed to them.
The lesson there is that, not all of those projects that conducts testing are successful even if you contribute a hundred or two or more bucks on it, you're not guaranteed and that's the misconception of other investors and much worse, they end up with a scam project which they will just accept lightly because they know that it's possible to happen to them.

Some of the new projects could give you a brief idea about what they are trying to achieve during presale and engage with the community, of course with the initial research from you then you can see lot of potential projects  in this forum or other place. But still, the chance of that happening is pretty low and also that most of the new projects are ended up failing due to scammers and price dump after presale. It's a common thing.

basically a new project has a high level of risk, so we have to be able to deal with it, for example we have analyzed it and it looks like it's worth investing, then don't use full capital to buy it, use a small amount of capital to invest, however this is a risky project, but if our prediction is correct then the returns will also be large. on the other hand buying during presale mostly takes a long time to list on the stock exchange, so we have to be patient to wait

Besides a coin with a volume too small can easily be manipulated by the whales and make other investors to lose their money, so while small coins may seem like a great opportunity at the same time they are a very high risk, even if the coin is any good, but if it is not then this is many times worse as not only the risk of manipulation is there but there is also a massive risk the coin could collapse way before it could give you any profits.

I think new coins is not risky but we should always set a limitation in order for us  to limit the possible loss if we are going to loss, risky is when you will not determine the good altcoins or the legit new altcoins but if you can choose the legit altcoins even if it is new then we can still earn on it depending on the development and the team that handle the projects.

We have very good altcoins coming into the market but the problem is that investors don't go for those coins instead they prefer chasing after those hype ones. They over hyped coins are always the risky ones as they can be dumped on late investors. If we want to invest then we should look for coins that are not overhyped but having good vision.
New altcoins can give you lots of money if you pick one of the many that'll do very well. You can invest in coins before they get listed on big exchanges and when they get listed you make money.
Low market coins can also make you huge profit more than those with very high market volumes. Getting coins on dex before they come to centralized exchange is also a good strategy.
