I keep asking that question to people and the answers vary a lot but the best thing I can come up with is that they just feel too late for other coins. I mean there are tons of amazing projects that already exists and you can buy any of them and make a great profit, and yet people don't do that.

Because they know that it would be pretty near impossible if they did that and make a 10x profit or at least 20x profit. They know that it would be possible to double their money if everything goes great, and on the best possible situation maybe make 5x profit, like 16k bottom bitcoin times 5x means a bit higher than the ATH we have right now. But if they buy a new project, they "may" make 100x, which they usually don't and all ends up losing their money.

Because even though there is a lot of interest in the new state, later the website runs away with down, due to which all the investments go to waste. So it is better to refrain from investing in any new projects because it is better to invest in projects that are old in the market. And currently, due to the downtrend in the cryptocurrency market, the alt sections are not performing very well.

You are right. For newbies, they must stay away from investing in new coins/tokens. It is very difficult to find good new tokens/coins, most of them are just coins with weak fundamentals or made for scamming people. It is too risky for newbies to invest in these types of coins/tokens, they must focus on investing in trusted coins like BTC. If they want to invest in altcoins as well, they must choose top altcoins such as ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC, SOL, or DOT.

But the sad part that i kept seeing here? newbies are those who are seeking for great return in easy way and that is why they keep chasing new project that they think has potential for them to become rich overnight lol.

It doesn't just take time, it also takes effort as well which is the hardest part. I believe that we shouldn't really be spending that much time and effort on something that is so risky and potentially not even going to end up getting us any profit at all. I understand that some people would still rather do that, but that is not what we are going to end up seeing or living in the near future at all.

I personally need to focus on how we could do something that would be better, and in order to do that we shouldn't really live like this at all, we should try to focus on something that would be a lot better which are the top coins. They are at the top for a reason, it is not going to be dropping anytime soon, so they would be better.

You are right, that is how you should be doing. I am not against putting just a tiny bit into small new stuff if you are willing to lose that much but that is a different approach. Almost all of your money should be in the old ones, bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, litecoin, those are some old and solid coins that you know will do fine.

It is not about some other coin making you more profit, it is about the fact that these would make you profit end of the story, the others are not certain on that. Maybe they will make you profit, maybe they will lose you a lot of money and even all of your money. Luna ranked pretty high for a while too but look at it now. So, even if it is not as high, at least the old ones are guaranteed income.

that's the notion of most newcomers, they thought this market is a a get-rich-quick one. only to learn later on that there's more than meets the eyes in this market. and then, they will accuse btc or any other project as a scam and spread lies to others.
most new projects have short lifespan as they are only here to exhaust money from naive users. with thousands of alts being created, only about 1% of that really have actual use case and survive. just think of those long dead projects. it means, a lot have been screwed by those so-called "devs"

but there are some says ethereum will not go any long because of the incoming issues , but of course there are still so much support in this coin/project.
though for me also Bitcoin is still the safest and the most promising of all.
