Just be careful, sometimes it's not mean Bitcoin is pumping, altcoins are following also. Sometimes it is different from altcoins.
But I believe as long as Bitcoin will not dump, altcoins are safe. And what I also observed is, altcoins are following Bitcoin after Bitcoin pumped or Bitcoin became sideways only.

Imperials move wherever the kind does. So there is no doubt about that, but, I've also seen at times, some altcoins move in an opposite direction of Bitcoin's movement. If it's going up, those alts go down, and when it starts going down, those alts start pumping, but that only last temporarily and then they readjust and join others.

Also, altcoins are never safe, no matter how good of a performance Bitcoin is putting up on the market. Altcoins always carry huge risk as we have seen how they take no time in collapsing after building very large user bases, great trust and everything.

And there will be from the top 100 in the rankings that might be kicked by another good project that will have a better exposure. It happens at most times that whenever a small altcoin season comes, not all from there are also blooming.

It seems that you guys are wrong. 7 days are already past and there are still no shillers that shills their shit coins on this thread or maybe it will still take time for them to spot this thread? Why not look for futures? If your aim is to make a quick profit in a short period of time, and you are 100% certain that bitcoin will go up, then buy 100x leverage bitcoin long and you will be making more profit than any altcoin could give you. If you are not entirely sure about it, then why risk it with small altcoins as well?

I know that people want to make a lot of profit, but if they are scared to buy 100x bitcoin then they shouldn't be taking risks of small coins neither, makes no sense at all, too many projects are already riskier than leveraging bitcoin, so it would not be smart decision to buy them. I would suggest just regular spot bitcoin purchase and holding would be enough.

lately the price is consistently holding 23-24 coins for the whole week mate.
if this does not change in the next month then I believe we will be leaving the market with this 20k level till the end of the year.

I think an understanding of how crypto moves is lacking with most people. People think that it is going to be volatile at all times, I believe that we will go beyond 24k, and we will not be seeing 20k for the rest of the season, but that is how it all works if you look at it from a realistic stand point. People saw that it moved up for a while, and they all start t consider that it will keep going up no matter what.

I don't believe that this correction is the best time to buy Bitcoin though it can be a good time to start doing DCA. I believe we will still see it dipping a little bit from here toward $20k or even $18k before it breaks the resistance and charges toward $30k. As we see all the time, Altcoins always move with Bitcoin, whether going up or coming down, so with a little bit of analysis, one can easily find a few altcoins that are worthy of a little investment while they are down.

It dump much last week because it pumps much for over a month from 0.7$ to 1.55$. I believe the Matic run is already over and it might suffer correction now due to its consistent buy pressure despite Bitcoin is dumping last week.

Matic is a good project to invest but investing right now while everyone is already taking profit is a bit dangerous because the current price is still 70% higher from the low price which rally starts. This only means that there’s still many traders that is not taking profit that will probably do this time due to the sell pressure.

Don't worry about Matic if you bought it at high price, it hits 1.50$+ i think it’s new ATH in the last 3 months, i was hold at 0.96$ and sold it 1.46$, now i'm waiting for a bit dumping then i will take new entry and for the long term holding. It’s undoubtedly potential project, it can be hit 3$-5$ in this year. It’s enough worthy project to get profit in the future.

At least, with this correction, we can start paying off to buy bitcoins with a little cash to see how far the bitcoin price goes. And if the price still drops and reaches $20k or even $18k, that's a good opportunity to buy bitcoin. Matic is not a bad coin, it is not a great one anyhow, but it is not bad, it is worse than btc or eth or bnb, but it is better than 10k+ coins and tokens out there at least, probably more of them, which means it is not really a bad choice considering what other coins are out there. I can name maybe 5 other coins I would prefer at most, probably not even that much and here we are talking about if this drop meant anything, to me it didn't mean anything but market movement.

maybe for the short term APTOS or ETH is very good for the short term but there is definitely a risk of that if you don't take the risk you might have to buy a stable coin or fiat.

if it's for short term, certainly altcoins in general gonna be good solution for you, newer coins like APTOS gonna be good for short term usually, you should just find the right momentum.
moreover, there are other coins that also gonna be scoring good increase if you're patient enough to wait until bullish comes that is matic, solana, and many more.
after all the fact that some of the newer coins have relatively small market valuation, it just means they're having higher chance of raising their value.
