Is good to share testimonies sometimes to boost the fate of others, when I lost my both parents in 2012 I became confused of life where to start or what to about my life and I always desires to be educated. One day a friend was sitting close operating on bitcoin and I ask him what bitcoin is all about, he put me through bits by bits, I didn't rushed to put my money into it, I took time to learn for about months I was still learning.

Then I finally took a step by investing and trading by myself, though is not always colorful as we expect but with due patients, I scale through the mindset of failures but keep enduring the ups and downs of bitcoin prices and to the glory of God, things went good over time.

I was able to go back to school, relocate to city, rent a small apartment call self-contained, and I have a small shop where am managing.

In as much as people have failed in bitcoin, many also have benefited from it, is all about being patients.
So patients with whatever you're doing in due time, you will enjoy your labour.

It's always good to see those who still kept their faith in Bitcoin even after losing their capital, some might just think of the whole concept of Bitcoin as a scam and vow never to do anything related to it again.
Although my story isn't as complete as yours but I have been able to handle my school bills by myself without having to worry my parents, although I don't haven a shop yet but I'm still hoping that in the nearest future I will be able to establish one after I have successfully acquire the knowledge required for running and managing the business.

It is good that you have kept your mind open. Currently , I do not think you should live on crypto investing alone. There are months and years of bear market and thus it will not give stable income. I am not against crypto but it is not an alternative to job. It is a good tool to diversify your investments though. Now there are people who invested in bitcoin in beginning and and have retired now with the money. But those days are not going to come now. It is hard for everyone to show that amount of patience. We should keep both positive and negative side of crypto in mind as an investor.

I don’t see any thing related on Bitcoin that help you in your life aside from learning it bit by bit. The real thing that helps you is your determination to have a good life by studying and working at the same time. Wait sometimes I don't get what people understand by the term only source of income anyways because all understand about income is to have a sufficient balance that can pay all your bills and have some savings left in the account.
So as a trader if ops can make enough profits over time that will sustain his financial well-being and pay for his bills that is good enough to be a source of income for ops.
So we should avoid this statement of saying one should not take cryptocurrency as the only source of income but we should promote diversification of income, one can take cryptocurrency as the only source of income and later diversify into another sector.

Op your story is not really clear to me, you were confused in life which mean you were not working and there was no job which was bringing income for you and yet you invested in bitcoin to generate income. Is it that you missed something in the story?

By the way, sorry for the lost of your lovely parents. In life something must happened for you to progress and move to the next level. Probably your parents dead encouraged you to face real life and conquer it. Coming to bitcoin investment.
Understanding bitcoin is a rigorous process in which the learner must be patient to learn and he or she must have the eagerness to learn. And bitcoin is not a get quick rich scheme where people go and be scammed. One must understand bitcoin at least to some extent for investing, trading and for transactions. Risk management is a daily activities in the trading and invest field so you have to be aware of that.

The Mt.gox case is nearly similar to FTX today, and yet I am not a victim, in this bear market I have made some money investing into some projects very early too, I wasn't here in 2013 though but I am sure that mt.gox isn't the only crypto exchange at the time, some lost a fortune and some end up smiling, because they aren't caught in the mess, to me, I believe this story because I hustled my way up in crypto space since 2017 and OP story is nearly comparable to mine.

There are many people who made 'huge' out of this industry but that should not hide the fact that many people also have lost big. Also this is to break the idea that this industry is a quick way to get rich 'coz this is also the reason why many people are ending up throwing accusations of 'scam' and 'fraud' to this industry. The impression mentioned, is simply putting people to situation wherein they'd just engage because of the fact that people are earning profit from this technology wherein they should have started with knowing what they are tring to put themselves into. you must be very lucky to have bought some BTC at such a very low price. 2012 was 10 years ago, if we all just knew what would happen in the future we wouldn't be ignoring BTC when we heard of BTC going viral and we may have bought as well and keep for a long-term hold. we missed a once in a lifetime opportunity.

You're right, the patient dog eat the fattest bone, we have seen people that invested on bitcoin and their life had a complete turnaround because they follows the due procedures and learn when necessary before taking a step or move, while on the contrary we have seen some that have also invested and loss everything due to falling on wrong hands or lack of knowledge that cost them loosing it all either by scam or being hacked, the conclusion is that what you don't know will cost you your valuables and assets in ruin if care is not taken.

If we examine those who claim they lost all in bitcoin from time, we will all realise it is due to their own negligence. This is because bitcoin only crashes and with time it will recover completely and give even more profits. What happens is that when bitcoin price crashes those amateurs will sell their bitcoin on losses making it impossible for the price to recover.
So with the nature of Bitcoin and especially from inception, no one should be saying they lost all in bitcoin.
