Has anyone here had troubles explaining bitcoin or crypto to a normal person?

We don't want the word normal to be taken too out of context, because we are more than sure that we all know what a "normie" is.

For us, we used freebitco.in first and it basically showed us everything we need to know from a beginner's standpoint.

Does anyone here have stories about sharing their favorite hobby/profession with someone else who either has no idea or no interest?

If bitcoin is supposed to be the future of finance, then the whole world will need to know at one point or another. Basically bitcoin and crypto education is borderline mandatory in our honest opinion.

What do you all think?

Thank you.
I doubt if there’s an easy way to explain bitcoin into a regular person, because the fact that certain person is clueless about bitcoin, then you can’t explain it to him simply and just expect that he understand it already. Bitcoin is always complicated, so you have to deal to those beginners with much of effort and determination so they can learn well from you. That’s the reason why I don’t personally teach people about bitcoin because just the thought about it make me tiring already. Instead of teaching them, I just show them how bitcoin changed my life, that way they will be more motivated to learn bitcoin on their own way.

Before we discovered Bitcoin, weren't we just regular people? But, we have finally grasped what Bitcoin actually is. It's unlikely to happen if you try to explain Bitcoin in one day. It won't be simple to describe Bitcoin to beginners. You should start by explaining Bitcoin and outlining the benefits of using it as money. Afterwards, you'll need to discuss any potential gains or losses. Then, if he starts to show some interest, you can go on to explain the technical details.

Has anyone here had troubles explaining bitcoin or crypto to a normal person?

The experience of introducing Bitcoin to a circle of people's family is nothing difficult, but it only takes a process and stages, logically nothing will happen perfectly the first time giving them insight about Bitcoin, there are various methods for introducing Bitcoin, but what people often use it to show Bitcoin, one of which is by giving them gradual and regular education, a good and important step. when they will start to be interested of course they want to get more knowledge to perfect their knowledge.

I will you that it was not easy to educate people about crypto or about Bitcoin. For so many people I've talked about this in my place and even my friends don't believe it, they still think it a scam think and this is possible because of the influence of social media and news that many people got scammed by.

Well, I think...the easiest way to explain them is to show what you have achieved in investing or trading Bitcoin. Because people will believe us when they saw that we had improve, they are very certain of our status than of what we talk about.

What do you all think?
Introducing new people to bitcoin is a mandatory task and something I feel we owe to bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large, the truth remains that, the higher to number of bitcoin believers and users get, the better the market becomes, and not just that, the government will also lose what ever level of grip they have on crypto, by then, they will no longer be discussing on how to maybe, ban bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, but now, their discussion would be more of how they can regulate it.

The above is just one or two of the likely benefit of crypto and bitcoin mass adoption, now, the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person is a different topic altogether, and to this, I would say they it depends on the level of knowledge  you as the instructor have, the level of your understanding of bitcoin will determine what you tell others out there about bitcoin.

There's what they called "individual dichotomies", you can't just walk to someone and started narrating everything just because you want the person to know what you are into or your favorite hobby ect. First you must sense their mood at every given point to know if they are that freely open to listen to you or not. Otherwise I will say only give attention to those who are open to give you a listening ear. Between if you are routed into this you don't need to tell your closet friends about what are into, your results alone are due enough to let them know you into bitcoin trading or investment.

What do you all think?

Thank you.
In my first approach specially if its a friend.
I will be asking out these set of questions.

1. Do you have idea about digital currency?

Yes - Proceed
No-  Open up some brief definition about crypto

2. Do you know about its benefits

Yes- Proceed
No- Tell about anonymity and being decentralized

3. Other opportunties?

Yes- Proceed
No- Explain that simply holding or trading it up could give out money making opportunities.

One thing that would be making you struggle if a certain person doesnt have that
knowledge about technology or something that arent that literate which it would
really be a challenge on telling someone who doesnt even know even with the basic principles
on how things simply works specially on internet based or connected things.

It also happened to me; in the past, I told my brother to invest in Bitcoin, but he did not believe and thought that I had participated in Ponzi projects sooner or later would collapse. But until now, my economy has changed a lot while he is still the same, he started listening to me a few months ago and invested in Bitcoin. It can be said that the result is what they need, and there is no better explanation than showing them what you have achieved when investing in Bitcoin, they will listen to you.

I couldn't deny the hard work when explaining to normal people about Bitcoin and sometimes we feel bad and misunderstood especially if they stand against what they have negatively heard on the internet. If we really don't have the patience and motivation, to quit is possibly on our minds.

So, before we decided to do this and help to educate the people around us make sure that we remain calm and open-minded because not all will understand and listen to us.

The public must be vitally taught on the gains and losses of Bitcoin operation in order to avoid time being wasted. The operation of bitcoin can be broken down into a number of different sectional divisions. It can be difficult to explain bitcoin to a layperson on your own, especially if that person has heard negative things about the project and has created anxieties about it. Most people who initially introduced bitcoin to uninformed people used the internet to spread their ideas and knowledge, but in the cryptocurrency world, it's all about who obtains the correct information before a project is properly carried out.
