Would you like to include the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto into your book?  I will give it to you for free, just write something about the unfortunate events resulting in demise of a little green troll in bitcointalk.org forum. Deal?

Here you go:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Matsuoka
Ignore my information at your own risk. He is using his super computer to find the puzzle bitcoins, incase you didn't know, Satoshi is a dragon hoarding bitcoins.🤑😂

Hi Tyke,

Great idea! I'd love to purchase a hardcover book on this topic for my library. I do have a couple of suggestions, though. Have you considered including a chapter on academic research and another on the experiences and posts of users in the bitcointalk community? It would be interesting to explore topics like the popular term "Shitcoin" and the concept of forks in more detail  Grin

for the academic chapter I would suggest the paper published at the Association for Computing Machinery - ACM called "Bitcoin Pedigree"

Here's what I suggest you include: mailing lists, forum posts, whitepaper, bitcoin.org, first transaction / exchange / merchants who accepted it / lightweight wallet software, the overflow bug exploit, and later on block wars and lightning.

Why would I point a web browser to a site without using SSL/TLS?

I don't know, ask them. They don't have SSL. If it's too much of a big issue for you, use Tor.

I’ll do my best to include as much related BTC history as possible. It cannot be an endless chronicle. I’m determined to write ✍️ something great.

Initial Bitcoin history research is complete!

Currently writing the first draft of a 300+ A4 page Bitcoin history paperback/hardcover book for tentative release in late 2024/early 2025.  It will be a detailed and thorough account of important Bitcoin milestones since August 2008 (when the www.bitcoin.org website was registered).

I am determined to include as much information relating to Bitcoin as possible.

Please retweet and like the following tweet, and consider supporting the project:

Please respond by giving your experience with crypto exchange platforms in 2010, 2011 and 2012. I know the major exchanges allowing BTC trading, but I may have overlooked others.

Here is a link showing how the interior of the Bitcoin 2008-2024 history book looks and feels:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y5r_XVr54sn3Z86wUR2W2MwwluCwTM16/view?usp=share_link

I hope the layout gives you an insight into what I'm trying to achieve over the next couple of years.  I look forward to support from the community as I progress with the first draft.  I have already collated hundreds of pages of notes relevant to BTC historical events.  I won't compromise on the layout, especially 16 pages per year.

If anyone has feedback, please fire away!

Currently writing first draft of Chapter 2008/09 titled 'Bitcoin Genesis Is Born':

A great idea and a very good effort. The book will be very interesting, especially for those who do not know much about the history of Bitcoin. As a writer, you have to write impartially. I mean to write the historical facts as they are. In other words, you have to write the positive as well as the negative things, if any.

With regard to the donation issue, I do not think that there is a problem with it, and it should not be understood as begging. This is a great effort, and whoever wants to donate, there is no problem, but in my opinion it is not necessary to write the names of all donors.

It is my intention to write in an objective manner including positives and negatives. I’m confident I can do a great job. I don’t mind if community members wish to have their name in the book. The more support I receive, the better the outcome + quality. I’ve taken this on by myself.

Thanks for your support.

Make sure you also include a section for the 2022-present "environmental drama" caused by environment activists (and Ripple's ex-CEO) and the fight against them such as https://bitcoincleanup.com (mine) and https://notonmynode.bitcoinreserve.com/ .

(side note: I wish Bitcoin Reserve accepted US persons. I like their OTC service, but I can't use it for this reason. Sad)
