When a coins price depends on the tweets from one egomaniac how do you think this will all end.  There is no way a coin can survive knowing that its hinged on literally one person supporting it.  Memes were a fad and people are holding onto the hope of it hitting again, most are just bagholding and not adding to theor bag though.  That with the never ending supply of 10k new coins every minute are a recipe for disaster.

It can't deny that he is the reason for the surprising spike in Doge's price before but doubted it can happen again knowing that many people had ignored Elon Musk and Dogecoin. We can say that Dogecoin no longer has that potential anymore because it never happens to be on the moon without the influence of someone who is capable enough to manipulate its price which Elon does in the past. That is over and we can never expect such thing as people had already learned when they suffer losses due to investing hype coins.

People have been trying to ride the dogecoin hype the moment Elon did something to promote it. Guess what, it underwent some pumps and some dumps and still no moon yet. Moon is subjective, and people will never be contented on the price until they get uber rich from it, and I think that's just utterly impossible because the money has to come from somewhere before it gets poured into dogecoin. So yeah, dogecoin can have pumps and still don't reach the moon because people will never be contented.

I don't know whether Dogecoin will be supported by Elon Musk again or whether Elon Musk will move to another coin so that the price can increase. But Elon can indeed move its price up as we saw with Dogecoin some time ago.

It's possible that Dogecoin could hit $1 this year or the next and no one knows if that will happen or if it could just hit ATH yesterday again. This is still a mystery that no one knows and we should follow the market price. And as long as the price of Dogecoin can touch the peak price, that's the right price for us to sell Dogecoin and take profits.

To have good growth opportunities, Dogecoin needs to have additional useful features. Because there are already a lot of coins on the cryptocurrency market without such functions, and there is little chance of counting on another hype due to some actions of Elon Musk. This coin is unlikely to reach the price of one dollar. There are many much more worthy cryptocurrencies in this market than Dogecoin.

Well, we can't really tell, we are in bear market, so obviously majority of the coins are going to sleep and hibernate in this cycle. But once we are in a bull run, who knows, maybe DOGE will be hype again by Elon or some other crypto influencer, pushing the price even higher.

However, there are investors that are not into hype crypto like DOGE, they would rather stick to solid projects like BTC/ETH and other altcoins. Instead of risking something on a meme coin, just saying.

Doge is supported by the richest man in the world. He needs his coin and it's better to just pick one that is already quite decentralized instead of launching his own coin. Nevertheless there are still some whales that he needs to eradicate.

I can see it going to mars. What if we finance mars mission with Doge? I see positive impact on the price.

Maybe soon Chinese people will pay for their Starlink subscription using Doge so they can surf freely on the open internet with a satellite connection and bypass their CBDC.

I think it will stay like this due to the hype that was created around it and unfortunately many people will keep on losing money on it as well. It just created this newly founded community around it after Elon and even after Elon stopped and even after the price crashed, it still has a bigger community than it used to have.

This causes it to go a lot higher than it used to and it has a bigger chance to go up in the future as well. I wouldn't buy it, I would never even consider it, but I can understand it at least, it's something that makes sense to a point where if there are enough people doing it, it's easy enough to get fooled about the community size.

The conditions will probably just be the same pump and dump as they have done before and this is a foregone conclusion because if this gets pumped then I think the people who are trapped will take advantage of this condition to get them out with the profits that it will end up being dump as it is when.

Where did you see majority of people predicting DOGE is going to hit the 1$ mark this year? The last DOGE's ATH was highly speculative and I doubt the same impact will be felt on the next bullish season. It's really likely this cryptocurrency will have a nice progress, but something like 1$ doesn't look possible, because DOGE is pricing 8 cents right now, what means it has to grow x12,5 times in order to reach the 1$ mark.

It's like saying Bitcoin will hit 300,000$ this year or on the next bull run, what is also really difficult.

I wish I knew that so that I could buy a whole bunch of doge and hold them and wait for Elon Musk to Tweet about it. I wonder how could a coin have significant value if it's value solely depends on an individual influencer and other than his attention nothing else can make it have a better value.

Though I know that doge already has a pretty large community of users and holders but it doesn't really have any specific use case that I know of. I personally would never invest in a token for the sole reason that a celebrity might pump it sometime in future and that may give me some gains over my investment.

But to be honest I'm also not so sure if Doge was able to pass ATH before. Many altcoins actually lost ATH earlier in the next bullish period. Even if Elon accepted Doge on all of his businesses I don't think it's enough for DOGE to hit the $1 price range. It is a bit high for a meme coin and I don't think is possible. It sucks that people believe that Elon can make DOGE reach $1. Even if he tweets multiple times, It will become less effective in a long run. Elon did bring the price in an absolutely high prices, reaching above the all time high is absurd and even we reached the next bull market, I think it will be hard to pump it back to the all time high price. I remember the days where DOGE serve it's purpose as a tipster token, I receives millions of it before but I absolute get unlucky on the exchange where I stored my DOGE.

$1 this year doesn't seem realistic. We should understand first how much market cap does Dogecoin need to increase it's value up to $1. It's not going to be always the hype and the Elon effect, those will not entice massive investors because there were still a lot of promising alts in the market with a real use case.
Doge will hit that milestone in the coming years, but they must at least do something about its use cases, being a method for payment, all hype, and a meme doesn't seem sustainable to me.
