Grandissimo from Leclerc and Ferrari! I'm so freaking happy right now for them and finally a strategy that can be worth of Ferrari.

This season is insane so far! At this point , I'm not even certain that RedBull can keep their 2nd position in Constructor Championship because Ferrari is looking faster than them in this 2nd part of the season and if RedBull won't find anything soon and if Perez will still not help his team with points , then Ferrari will finish 2nd for sure and McLaren will be champions.

Well done to Ferrari who with that win made sure that everybody in the pool got the same points almost, at least I was 0.5 points from the yellow cap, anyway congrats to sojourner and hsh1 for winning the yellow cap, I think it is two in a row for sojourner if I am not mistaken so double congratulations to him. Personally I am happy that won points against the 2nd and 3rd places in the standing and got to equal points with the 1st guy leading the leaderboard, if you guys have not yet noticed just another 8 races and this season is over, I am sure the very next race after two weeks will have even bigger emotions than we saw here in Monza, we are racing in Baku, one of the best tracks of the calendar, a super fast city circuit.

I'm certain that Verstappen won't reach podium.

It is hard to be certain, but I know that the track has hard overtakes and might be Determined with a good strategy who is the winner. I do hope that it is an entertaining race.

So does this mean we are going to see different results after the race ended, just like we saw 2 races before after George Russell got disqualified from the win of that race for some problems? That would make things interesting as now I see that I made some wrong assumptions, I only got a 0.5 points against the 2nd place and the 3rd place got a yellow cap, I am assuming you are hsh1 there in the leaderboard by what you say. Well let's see how that make people better or worse as it means that Alonso should get a place in the points and most people including me has him in the top 10 yet I never saw such thing as a 10 seconds penalty although with all the damage and dangerous overtakes Magnussen did in Monza, touching people here and there I agree and it is the right punishment.

Same here. I was in love with Monza since I was a kid too and I can't wait for this race to happen and hopefully , Ferrari on pole ?

Unfortunately they didn’t have a pole but Ferrari did win a race!  

It was lowkey expected and unexpected at the same time. I knew Norris was gonna be overtaken again before even Lap 1 ended it is one of his weaknesses for sure but I also knew that Mclaren is a rocketship and Norris might easily get his position back but alas it’s the red car on top!

What a shame though that we could have both Ferrari drivers on the podium in front of the tifosi. That would have been such a beautiful sight to see.

I watched today race and it was very exciting with many changes and risky tactics by Ferrari that paid off.
They wanted to make a statement in Italy and nobody expected them to go only one time in pit stop.
I listened Verstappen after the race and he said they basically have to change complete car for Azerbaijan Grand Prix 
Bad day for my F1 Superbru predictions, but big congrats to buwaytress for winning another yellow cap!

It's really annoying how slow Superbru updates are....anyway Magnussen still had an advantage of more than 10 seconds over Alonso and finished 10th instead of 9th.
So Magnussen just swapped places with Albon.
Good news is next race will be without Magnussen and Sargeant...they ruined so many predictions for me

Well it was enough for me that Piastri did the worse possible, he managed to get past Lando at the first lap but at the cost of nearly a double DNF if Lando would have responded to that move as it was Lando class that let it go and it was the move that ruined the race. I cannot understand how stupid was the team of McLaren in the strategy they could have talked before the race and give an order of no passes in the first 2-3 laps then race on, it was just little needed to have gotten that P1-2 they were expecting before the race. Stupid in the true meaning of the word and it reminds me of Hungaroring where they gifted victory to Piastri, what the f*ck is wrong with this team, I am a fan of them but after yesterday race I wish they don't win the Constructors Championship so they can feel what Lando felt yesterday because of that stupid kid Piastri, shitty team mate.

Yes Mclaren seems to dont have the will of becoming champion in the driver championship and also risking the constructor ones, is incredible how they dont swap positions or make some moves to let Norris fight for the chmpionship when RB is in the soil and with a bad performance, what they think in their heads? They think Red Bull is not gonna come back?. Stop gifting points McClaren you cant do this after so many years fighting to come to this point.

Oh what happened, is that because of that Magnussen penalty, nice to be having a free bet once in a while in here, it has been a really long time since I have not won it although I have been near it in a consistent matter throughout many races missing it only for 0.5 to 1 points, on the leaderboard not much has changed as people above me still did the same as me or they have lost just 0.5 points against me, it was a tough race at Monza and as I said that Piastri kid is the sole responsible for ruining Lando chances of becoming World Champion in F1 during this season.

Next race Baku, a totally unpredictable one as we have seen just 2 previous seasons the DNF of both Ferrari cars, crashing between Verstappen and Hamilton not with each other but going out so I expect a lot more action in Baku rather than what we saw in Monza.

It was one of the toughest podiums to predict honestly. It was changing quite often during the race. Thanks to Ferrari having a really smart strategy, the win came to Leclerc. Congrats to him on this important win for Ferrari! But I would rather my podium to happen. Verstappen had just a very bad race. Red Bull is having a huge downgrade. Verstappen is desperate now but I started to feel like he will still win the title.  

The reason why is that McLaren just doesn't care about Norris' chance at all. This really annoys me.    They could have simply swapped places between Piastri and Norris before the end of the race...

If the boss was Toto Wolff he would definitely do it. We have concrete examples of Hamilton - Bottas.

Leclerc's famous "I'm stupid." comment through the radio comes to my mind every time we have a race in Azerbaijan. When it comes to the odds, Norris is obviously favoured a lot for qualifying and race both. But the second most favoured driver is Leclerc instead of Verstappen. I'm not surprised. Ferrari is also better than Red Bull recently.

It is Monday and I completely forgot about the free bet, it is a wonderful time to be having it as I am going to slash it on UEFA Nations League with a good parlay of over 1.5 goals, hopefully it comes true although one game gone wrong and boom you are out of the way, no worries still as this money isn't mine, it is just a free bet that I got after FIA changed decisions  .

As for race week the race in Baku it is going to be wonderful as always, we have seen team mates crashing here, cars breaking down, a lot of drama even by famous drivers non disturbed by anyone, for the prediction pool this is one of the most difficult race to predict as the starting grid in here means nothing.

I also like this circuit, knowing that it's a challenging layout with tight corners and straights. I know there are a lot of drivers who like it as well.

I think this was at the 2019 GP. This is when he crashed during qualifying. This is a memorable one.

I agree with the recent performance of RB; Ferrari has better results. I can't wait for the race now.

Here we go! There are only 2 days left for the race weekend to begin.    Baku is one of my favourites in Formula 1. Normally I'm not a fan of all of the street tracks in the calendar. But this one is special.

I'm feeling really positive about Ferrari here. A pole position fight must be seen finally. Because they really disappointed me about that in Monza. But that huge win by Leclerc came out of nowhere. 

Anyways McLaren and Ferrari can be ahead of Red Bull here. It wouldn't be surprising. It is more difficult to guess Mercedes to me. They can be quite unpredictable these days.

I cant say anything i can only wait to see how the teams perform in the free practice, like luckyguy said the main doubt for me is Mercedes, like in all the previous seasons they can come and make a super race or being a mid team is the most irregular team of the grid.

The other problem with this race is the realiability issues and the crashes, That can change the races from night to day in seconds, so better for us, must fun to watch.

The dream has come true for Aston Martin. They have officially signed one of the most skilled engineers, Adrian Newey.    He is expected to join the team in 2025 as far as I know. The balances can change too much after this big transfer. Alonso is happier than ever. As far as I have heard Lawrence Stroll made such an offer to Newey that he has some team shares. Aston Martin could be the new number one team in 2025 or as of 2026 at worst.
