I'm also going to join this lovely F1 pool once again.    The previous season went nice for me and I believe I ended in a not bad place. I could have done more if I was more consistent but still it was nice to finish in top 10.

This time I'm targeting top 3 so hopefully I can do it. It feels like in this season we are likely to have more fun in F1.    By the way how many players are going to be in the pool this year? Another thing I wonder, how is the prize distribution going to be?

Really looking forward to the first race, bookies have Norris as a decent favorite and I did pick him based on the odds but I feel it will be Verstappen. Nothing can be drawn from the testing from last week, everybody important was fast at some point in time.

Hamilton faster than Leclerc though.. Happy to see what he can do in a Ferrari.

There are still people joining. I guess there would be around 20 people.The distribution isn't decided yet because the number of participants isn't known now. We will announce it until the Chinese Grand Prix.

My hope is to win something this season, but I am not sure if I will post my predictions for first race on time, because of my busy schedule in next days.

As for @Trofo who said it was a boring season before, yes it was though now I am pretty sure if you or anyone has seen the FP1 and FP2 would surely see a lot of diversity this time, Ferrari looks good, McLaren looks good, Mercedes looks good and that guy who made it boring doesn't seem to have the fastest car anymore so it is going to be a super variable Championship and this makes this pool even more fun and unpredictable.

i am not betting on formula 1 right now as i do not want to be financially involved yet haha but i am wondering if can i still be part of this discussion? or should there just be another thread for a general discussion about formula 1 without having to bet on it?

Ferrari looks good, McLaren looks good, Mercedes looks good and that guy who made it boring doesn't seem to have the fastest car anymore so it is going to be a super variable Championship and this makes this pool even more fun and unpredictable.

even the midfield cars look close williams and vcarb put in some good lap times across fp1 and fp2 and there are also many rookies this year so i believe this season can be one of the greatest and one of the most unpredictable as you said

I was impressed by the performance of Williams.... I know they work really hard for this year, and i also know and hear Sainz comments about how good was the steps and develop make in the car by Albon and Colapinto, but in the first practice he sits in second place.... way higher than i tough.

Lando Norris Pole Position!!......Supposed to rain on Sunday so it should be an interesting race.

I started the pool with a rightly guessed pole position and for tomorrow the race will be very interesting to watch though a lot of surprise results for this first official qualifying, the power of Ferrari was only there during free practice sessions and when it was needed both drivers did pretty bad compared to the free sessions. Looks like Hamilton didn't make the right move to get to Ferrari at least in this beginning race of the season and I wonder where Redbull find this good pace, I think it is only because of their driver Verstappen which knows how to drive this, the other guys in Redbull suck big time as always.

If I were you I would not change anything as if you remember the previous races in here a lot of changes happened from the pole qualification to the end of the race, just remember what happened to Max last season, the brakes went on fire and Carlos Sainz coming right from and appendicitis operation won the race, how many people predicted that in the pool, almost no one and that is the reason I say it is better not changing anything because you already have two points in your bag from Early Bru points and if you change you start your race with 0 points. I did Norris on pole and thought he would not get it based on the FP3 practice where he got 10th, yet I thought I don't care what happens I throw him in.

Too early to say, but they have been the only team with such a huge gap between the 2 drivers recently. The start of this season doesn't point to that changing anytime soon.

Seems like it will be early dominance for McLaren's, they are continuing where they left off last season. I did expect 1 Ferrari in the top 5 though.

I didn't believe in Leclerc that much but still trusted him to do nice things in qualifying today. But he really messed up. I wonder why he didn't go for one last lap time attempt in Q3. Maybe he could have got past Verstappen then.

When it comes to changing your picks on Superbru it might even go worse for you. You would lose your EBP points in the first place.

Lawson has been really horrible during the weekend. It looks like it will take him more time to adapt to the car. The same thing goes for another rookie Antonelli as well. He was also really bad. Tomorrow is highly likely to be McLaren's day just as the expectations.
