Not sure about it, but people who always focus on chasing winning should be difficult to enjoy the game and focus on it. While people who play for fun can enjoy the game and can focus on playing. It may help them a bit, focusing on the game may increase their chance to win. However, it is my guess only, I don't if it really works for everyone or not.

Sure, when you get stressed, it is more difficult to win the game. It is because you can't focus and your mind will be messed up.

Are you serious? Didn't you know that it's annoying to be asked that kind of question in the casino?

Poker is a mind game and is in need a good strategy to win therefore you need to have a relaxed and calm mind during every session in order to execute properly your strategies. If you play poker while being in panic and pressured, definitely you can't think of a good strategy to win and that will lead to losing, obviously.

But to answer your question, there's no technical and direct relation that a positive mindset will give you a win but since we are talking gambling here, a positive mindset will surely help us thinks of a good strategy to win in a strategy-based game like poker. It's what everybody is recommending to play for fun, even the casinos on their policy state that they are platforms of entertainment so have fun playing, playing for fun takes out the frustration, and it's good for well being, your chances are heightened if you can think clearly especially in sports betting when everything depends on how good you are in looking details.
