Do you still hunt for airdrops?

"Airdrops are generally worthless." However, I don't trust a lot of airdrops now. I have filled out thousands of airdrops, but I have only received 2-4 good ones in 5-6 years, so I think filling out airdrops is a waste of time. That's why I haven't been paying attention to airdrops for a long time and I don't even advise anyone to connect their wallet whom they ask to do so.

Almost all airdrop videos on YouTube are all scams, do not try hunting for airdrops using YouTube videos, those airdrops links in Youtube videos are all fake links and once you connect your wallet your tokens will be wiped out.

The airdrop that is aired on Youtube is only for making new videos. They will make money from YouTube views, not from Airdrop. Whereas those of us who follow them gain nothing from it. It would be nice if you take part in the Airdrop available on this forum. However, for paid guarantees, it is also not certain.

What you have just explained is the reason why I won't join random airdrops instead I choose an airdrop that I have knowledge about the project or you could say it is the same as finding a project worth to invest by making a research about it if it is legit or have a potential that it will make it or it is a scam therefore I only choose what I think is good to participate and how I choose is base on what I gather during my research.

Why people still stupid to connect their main wallets/doing airdrops with their main wallets? My main wallet is a ledger wallet. I keep all my assets in their. But I use trust wallet to do transactions. Also I have metamask wallet to participate airdrops or giveaways. And that wallet will never hold 20$+ 

That's because people think that they may have a chance to earn good money from airdrops.
Although most airdrops are garbage, there are 1-2 airdrops that still give people a good amount of money. For example Arbitrum, some people claim that they get big money from this project airdrop.

Sure, it is not the right way to connect your main wallet to an untrusted project. I also will never use my main wallet for airdrop projects. It is better to create a new wallet for airdrop purposes.

A lot of Airdrops are now a waste of time since its like gambling with your luck, many tokens that we got from Airdrop become worthless due to many dumps from other participants. Just like the Arbitrum token when they give massive airdrop to many people the price is dumped so hard.

In my opinion, what is meant by avoiding fake links on YouTube is that once connected to your wallet, your wallet will be empty, because most of these links have a high potential for phishing sites, because people will be easily tempted and lured by airdrops

Most airdrops are not worth it nowadays but there are still few good ones going out there.One has to make good research to choose the best ones.There are so many scam aidrops that can hacked ones wallet and steal all your funds so one need to be very careful.

I'd say this is true, but for many newbies, this could also expose them to some risk, there has been many reports that some of the dapps have the capability of draining address quite literally stealing other people's money.
with that, i think even though airdrops in general are free, we should also watch out for potential of losing money.

many people get thousands of dollars, and of course that is the enthusiasm of airdrop hunters to be active again looking for potential airdrops.

With the trend that we have now, It is very possible to profit on airdrops especially that Arbitrum who has recently release is one of the biggest airdrops that has airdrop hunters profited on. It is one of the anticipated projects and there are other airdrop projects that is being waited by everybody to be released. I believe that Arbitrum is what makes airdrop hunting lively again and encourage airdrop hunters to not to give up despite of scams and unreliable airdrops before. Today, Airdrops projects are increasing day by day because of the trend and I believe that there will be more airdrops like these soon.

Yeah, many airdrops are not worth something or we didn't receive any payment because the project is stopped in the middle of progress. We can keep hunting for airdrops until we get something precious tokens to sell as long as we keep patience and do not give up on the first try.

There are many airdrop we had participated in the past and we did not receive the actual rewards that was promised that is why we see in these days people that had have that experience do not bother themselves on that again. Everyone who hunts airdrop must experience this. Unfortunately, there are too many shit projects, the developers only want investors' money. When they get enough money from investors, then they will disappear. When the projects immediately stop in the middle of its progress, we can assume the teams/developers are scammers. Those who joined at the beginning long enough to wait for the moment. You have to arrive early for other projects, do research and check every social media. But it's not as easy as you describe, even if you register on the white list it will still be selected, and some projects that implement this type of airdrop provide little incentive. The Arbitrum airdrop is different as you explained, it is more about the activity of using the arbitrum network on a regular basis and there are several requirements that must be met to get an airdrop, not just doing one task, but waiting a long time and consistently making transactions. Most airdrops that are not managed properly will indeed die and eventually become scams.
