I follow usually see telegram groups that actually provide accurate information. i did a small stage before going in to check it out. I usually monitor it from The Airdrop Detective telegram group. Maybe the prize is small, but if it's proven to be paid, I don't think there's anything wrong with joining and participating. For others, more in-depth research is needed. Grin Grin.
there are quite many airdrops that might have potential of generating good profits for just some measly task but most of them nowadays require capital like retroactive where you should try out their blockchain which of course require you to pay some gas fee frequently.
Big airdrop will need activity to get transaction history on their platform, so it's ok to spend 100-200 dollars because it's not big capital for high reward, look at arbitrum and SUI airdrop users they get high profit and the coin is listed on the top exchange.

What will you do if the official project members are already scammers while you investigate the truth! Well still potential airdrops  available but rarely! Many youtubers who promoting valid airdrops programme, they aren’t scammers but affiliating. Although all of them is not worthy. Even bounty Detective still share airdrops links on their telegram but reward is so limited. Anyone can join but DYOR. It is not advised to connect their wallet or sending fund to have eligible for that airdrop
yes, the distributions are very weak now, there are very few airdrops today, and if there is a promising project with an airdrop, then the raft is naturally scanty, this is not the time where you could make money on airdrops very well, I once participated in such an airdrop as EBTC just for a simple registration received 1000 dollars, these were airdrops

now the airdrop also requires some capital, such as participating in the testnet or mainnet,
of course the users who get ARB are users who have already swapped there and that also requires capital,
very different from in 2016-2019 where airdrops are really distributed for free of charge.

Don't hunt for airdrops on YouTube. Most of them are scams. Follow the airdrop of the official project in the telegram group. Even in official projects, sometimes there are also scams.

It is better to be in telegrams channels like Narnia, where you can have information about most scams. But it is better to get into some closed group, where the guys are engaged in projects only on insider. And then sometimes they fall for the deception. In the crypt, as in the real world, unfortunately, so.

it will be quite unfortunate if the rewards didn't show that high of a rewards though, retroactive airdrops it's all about luck.
but right now the hype of arbitrum has caused many to just jump in to these retroactive airdrop, specifically zksync.

Best is to avoid altcoins all together and just stick to bitcoin that you store in open source wallet like Electrum or even better hardware wallet.  That way you dont have to worry about these types of airdrop scams
Not everyone can afford to buy bitcoin or ethereum at the current price, most newbies enter crypto space by hunting for airdrop, when i start my crypto journey, i was hunting for airdrops until i raise some money to start investing in other coins, I think the advise should be, avoid scam airdrop, this year alone, there are some airdrops that have gave some people some good money. Also when asked to connect your wallet for an airdrop, don't connect with wallet you have some coin inside.

you are right, airdrops are giving high income in recent times but it is very hard to find potential airdrops because they only distribute tokens to eligable participants, we have to be careful using wallet not to connect to dex or new projects.

now I choose an airdrop that has a good white paper first.

Reading the white paper first is a good thing before join any airdrop program. However, the white paper that belongs to a project may not necessarily be implemented as written. There are many factors that you should make a point of choosing an airdrop, especially regarding core dev team, security of smart contracts and so on. I know, you will not lose anything if the airdrop from your analysis results if it is not distributed or has no value, but only focusing on the white paper still needs further checking.

That's right, There are countless of project that failed because of now following their whitepaper and having a lot of delays in developing the things on the white paper. This can lower the morale of their investor which usually happens and a straight down trend will happen. I've experienced this on some projects that I've invested and yeah there are projects that can't really recover and some of those are just being abandoned by the team behind. There are really a lot of factors especially today that smart contracts is prominent, Investors/airdrop hunters should at least know how to read a basic smart contract.

Telegram groups are good if they are not created specifically for advertising scams. It is better, of course, to enter closed channels and use the insides. That's where the community really makes money from the drops.

Choosing airdrops that has good whitepaper doesn't guaranteed the airdrop is legit most of them might be plagiarize white paper copied from other projects for them to attract people's attention. The whole concepts are fake, and even those who eventually involved themselves with the airdrop are likely to get scammed because most of them usually ends up request for a transaction fee before airdrop could be released to them. Currently airdrops aren't beneficial anymore.

Yes, I farm airdrops averaging around a 200-300$ a year for 3 years. It’s a great way to get lots of crypto without using your bank account but you need a lot of experience interacting with blockchains and crypto teams in order to get real yield.

I don't think it's necessary for the team to still be able to collect a few dollars in cryptocurrency airdrops,
for example last time Hook gave an airdrop every month from $10 to $20 and that's only by holding the NFT that we have minted,
of course there are many more good airdrops you can look for on YouTube , telgeram or twitter.

Maybe you are an investor by that because hunting airdrops are only for people has no money to invest on crypto. Though airdrops now are hard because it is now involve money in order to be eligible for that airdrops. Incentivized airdrops are now called for that which makes a great contributions towards the network of the project like what ARB did for lucky airdroppers.

Like before airdrop now doesn't get proper payment that's why I don't like airdrop now. But when I started crypto I did a lot of airdrop. Then airdrop used to get good amount of payment. Now you can get payment but bitcoin market for that.  Should be good. I don't know if all the projects have anything to do with bitcoin market.

Not only telegram because scammer has everywhere. You can check another social media section which is epically twitter. Anyway advertising is the key to success of token sales fpr a project but we need to find out which is the trusted project.

I would like to agree with you on this point that there was a time when a good amount could be pocketed by air drop. But now the picture is very different as the number of scammers is increasing day by day. And in this case, most of the current projects who bring air drops are frauds. In this case, most of the airdrops have the possibility of your data being stolen or a victim of phishing, except for some exceptional cases. So I think airdropping now is just a waste of time and security loss as well.

Airdrops today may not contain a significant amount of value, with some requiring participants to hold Ethereum or other altcoins or asking for a fee. I am discouraged from participating in airdrop campaigns because of this shit. I agree with both of you, airdrops may no longer offer the same level of opportunity that they once did, but there are still many potential projects and opportunities in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries like the NFT ecosystem, STOs, IDOs, etc.

When exploring new opportunities, thorough research and due diligence are crucial. Consider getting involved in projects or platforms that have a strong reputation and credibility. Stay up to date on market trends, brand reputation, and regulatory developments.
