Well, we are not supposed to underestimate the importance of Tucker for the Channel and also for the American Politics in general. There is a good reason his show was probably one of the most popular political commentary shows in the United States. It would be a bad move from Fox to turn Carlson into their personal enemy, specially because Tucker has a very real chance of getting into politics and not only as a commentator but as an actual representative or presidential nominee.

In that escenario, Fox  would not find convenient to have the Republican nominee as foe, because unlike Trump, Carlson makes more calculations.

We already would have committed and crime and violated your rights and the integrity of your property.

Here is the difference you are not looking at.

You wouldn't be happy if someone came onto your private property. I wouldn't either if it were my property. But what about this?

Let's say that you and 100 people owned some property jointly. You assigned a security guard with rules about going onto your joint property, even by one of you, one of the joint owners. Then, you wanted to go onto your property that you were part owner of, and the security guard said you could, under the rules where he had authority.

That's all that happened. Security even went with him. And he didn't do any damage. And because it was public property, it was owned by him along with the rest of the citizens of the US.

Would you be happy if security didn't let you onto your property owned by you and the other 100 people?

I would agree with you totally if the joker had gone about smashing public property, just like you wouldn't want one of the other 100 owners of your joint property to go in and arbitrarily smash things. But that isn't what this joker did regarding his joint ownership of public Federal property. He was very respectful, and he even had permission from security to go onto his joint property.
