In my own opinion I think that there are several reasons why people going to gambling. At first people especially young adults may going to gambling or sports betting as a result of peer pressure then over time they start having their reasons to keep gambling. They all start from somewhat that reason,that is very wide though,to make big money and I know a couple of people who got into gambling after seeing for example in an Instagram page the winning of the jackpot in the grand casino of 500.000 EUR and this was a big motivation for them to go and search their fortune,some other have been brought to gambling by friends and this was my personal case when we first got into Caesar Palace casino and they told me that the bonus round at those slot machines with animal related themes could give up to x2000 multiplier,I don't remember of that slot now but I know it was addictive as we kept going there almost every night (ok we also loved to hit on the waitresses but that is another story  ).

The answer will be very relative and depends on how you define gambling itself. to be honest, I will not deny. if many gamblers, especially beginners, are more interested in making money quickly from gambling. naturally, because the essence of gambling is to get money from what we risk. and because of that, you make assumptions based on your observations. there's nothing wrong with that, but not entirely right. because, if you want to make money. better you work, than you you try to get it from gambling. why, because you will get stuck in your own loop of thinking, you will end up losing a lot of money, instead of trying to earn fast money from gambling.

That's why I say, depending on how you define gambling itself for you. for me, gambling is nothing but fun entertainment on the sidelines of routine work activities.
