Who is Ratimov?
Is he the Hero of bitcointalk?
While theymos is the Owner.
How did he even know I was stocked and needed merits to upgrade my rank?
I did not even write him a private message.
How did he notice me among thousands of other people?
While someone who I wrote told me that I do not have one post worthy to be given 1 merit.
Today Ratimov has given me sense of belonging.

For sure Ratimov reads a lot here in the forum and checks who the poster is and if it’s near to ranking up, maybe he just does it and goes with it.

Some members which are mostly merit source on this forum can do something like that, Ratimov is still one of the merit sources we have on this forum. Merit source like to merit someone that is close to rank up which is what that just happened. You are now a hero now, congratulations, legendary next.

Thank you, I accept your congratulations but I don't think I can become a legendary rank member because I do not recieve merits quickly because I love to post in gambling discussion and merits don't fall there.

Ratimov did an amazing job today. distribute 587 sMerit to several members and help them rank up instantly.
Of course, Ratimov had thought about it, it wouldn't be like throwing sMerit in the trash. he certainly saw those who deserved to move up the ranks.

You can announce your cool feeling by ranking up to Hero member in Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great!

Look at their profile, you will be amazed someone ranked up because of their generosity and that is because they review your post history and you are deserved what you have got. It's time to get used to the fact that Ratimov is a local Santa. He does not necessarily distribute gifts on the New Year; now it happens in the first days of spring. I doubt that Ratimov has some unique abilities to cover all the information on the forum; I think it's not worth it. It is enough to check the number of his reports to make sure that he is always present on the forum.
OP, I also join in the congratulations; it's always nice to see such humble heroes who are here on the forum not only for the sake of rank increases but also for their own interests.

Everyone has their own version of what a merit-worthy post should be. If one person doesn’t like your post or your style of posting, others just may appreciate it. It seems Ratimov was on a merits spree today and you’re one of the lucky beneficiaries. It’s not surprising to me, accounts from my era are very familiar with Ratimov’s generosity, we have all been received merits to rank up at one point or the other. He’s been a part of our journey, little wonder why he’s so popular in the awards. Congratulations OP!

He is an active contributor of bitcointalk community even he gave me most number of merits from all my merits earned as per https://bpip.org/Profile?p=Findingnemo so it shows he encourages everyone who is contributing something to the forum and he may noticed you were lacking 50 merits to next rank but deserved to reach so he poured you what he can.

Gambling board isn't a place where much merits were distributed but surely there will be rewards for worthy posts in any board no matter what so don't keep yourself low and keep moving your next goal which is legendary.

You can always earn merit on any board as long as you have high quality posts. Even if not many merit sources are present there, but if you feel your post deserves to be reviewed by merit sources especially for its quality, then report them in this thread:

After all, you are not required to post everything on the gambling board by the terms of the campaign, so share more of your posts on the board you think are better and have the highest potential for merit.

This isn't the first time Ratimov has helped users so close to his rank, I'm sure you are not the last user it will help. As I know, Ratimov has sent 24,173 sMerits to 1978 users and hence he has been named the 9th most generous merit source so far.
