There are far better options on the market that are much scarcer, reliable, and useful for day-to-day payments.

I'd choose ETH or any other altcoin with a proven track record of development and innovation, instead of a worthless coin like SHIBA or DOGE. You'll never know when these last two cryptocurrencies will go to $0, leaving you "rekt" in the process. Shiba Inu can pump hard in the next bull season and it is still worthy to buy at a deep price. Because though it's a memcoin but it has gained huge popularity and it has a higher market cap. trend has switched over to L2 of ethereum, it's no more meme coin and meme coin in general are rarely having rally anyway. so I think it's can be said that these meme coins are done for, in term of having some massive rally. none one care about meme coin any more, utility are now essential that's the reason L2 become so popular.

Shiba Inu a coin with the total supply of tokens about 1 quadrillion is not a meme coin because they switched over to L2 of ETH, even if it is mounted on top of Bitcoin protocol, it is still a meme coin with the number of coins in circulation  .

I am not claiming that it wont rally, it has some big backers and it might rally though, but it is still a meme coin.

With the release of Shibarium due this year I do think this will see the price rise but how much im not so sure?

If that happens then they will immediately take over some of the coins above them, is it possible? maybe but that happens if the capitalization of the crypto market also increases significantly so that other coins also experience an increase in the amount of market capitalization. Maybe when the crypto market really enters a bullish period where there will be big movements and also big money will enter this market. I also have a shiba inu and it will be kept in high hopes that it will pay off a lot.

The cryptocurency market is speculated to be around $10 trillion in the next bull market, already we have achieved $1 trillion in the last bull cycle so achieving $10 trillion or $5 trillion atleast is possible.

If the market gets to that price then we can expect other coins to benefit from those trillion of dollars. Popular project like Shiba Inu can go as high as $100 billions in market capitalization too.

But realistically I think the highest the market capitalization can get to is $60billion and that still will give you very good return. Shiba Inu and dogecoin are very good investment if you want to make profit next bull market.

With quadrillions of SHIBA in circulation, why would anyone take this project seriously? This huge supply will prevent the coin from becoming a valuable investment in the long run. It's a "meme" coin after all. People are just getting into the hype after seeing Dogecoin "explode" in price during 2021. They think they'll become rich quick by investing into a "copycat" project. But that's not the way it works.

Considering that Shiba Inu doesn't have its own blockchain network, its chances for survival are pretty slim. Not even the new L2 network will save it. Crypto land often behaves in many strange and bizarre ways, so we should expect the unexpected. Who knows what surprises we'll find in the future? Just my thoughts

if just waiting for the bull I think it is much better to invest in high utility altcoins like ETH or BNB. without hype and if you only rely on the bull market of course the percentage increase in shiba prices will be lower than altcoins with high utility such as ETH or BNB.

Shiba Inu hype is over. It had its time on the last bull run, but no more. The next trend of crypto market is AI. Speculators should look for that and stop wasting their time and money with SHIB and other meme coins of the same kind. From this niche, probably only DOGE will survive and remain somehow influent among its altcoins pairs.
