Challenge is fun thing to do while you are gambling, I'm not sure why you do not like it while it may give you additional money if you win it.
You are not required to fight for the challenge until you complete it, you can start and stop playing for it anytime you wish.
Of course challenges may have some requirements such as minimum bet and minimum multiplier to hit, so we should wise enough to calculate the chance to decide whether it is worth or not to participate.

I can`t agree. The tournament is one time event and the challenge mostly regular activity. It like in the games when you have to login every day and do something to get monthly award(for example). but in the casino you not only spend time, but also money. Of course you can don`t participate in such activities, but you see their promote everywhere.
