I honestly did not experience this thing in gambling but I somehow have a similar experience with sending funds; not checking the decimals. I ended up sending more than I supposed to which served me a lesson up until the present. The value in this industry is often with decimals so I made it a habit to always check the amount because my OC is really hitting me up so bad. But good thing it never happened again, atleast.

Reason I guess for such mistake is because we are not used with the values. Even with fiat which we use on a daily basis, we are making the same mistake so what more with currencies which are having a different market value, aside from just being negligent. Other mistakes are accidentally betting with multipliers, forgetting to bet before a match, misclicks, and the likes. Different scenarios but all would more likely result into unwanted outcome not unless it turn out in fvor on your end; a friend of mine accidentally bet on the opponent team and it happened that he made the right bet even if he was suppose to be betting on the counterpart.

Today morning received the weeks payment. I had the payment of the previous week. Altogether it was around 0.0055 in the wallet. The first bet was planned to be 0.0005BTC. Instead of placing 0.0005BTC, I misplaced 0.005BTC and the bet was lost. This was completely unexpected and it is my fault. If the bet have won my wallet balance could've turned 0.007BTC, now it is an empty wallet.

I can’t say that I have ever accidentally bet the wrong amount. The platform is pretty straightforward and easy to use. I would suggest that if this is a problem for you, maybe you should change the currency to USD instead of crypto that way it’s more clear exactly how much you are betting in terms that you’re used to seeing. I have had a similar experience when it came to sport's betting were the sportsbook had predefined amounts and unknowingly I clicked on this thinking I had input a smaller amount for my wager only to lose my money, though sometimes I have been lucky enough as this as turned out to be winners for me... Sometimes it's an issue of duplicate bets,you think you placed on wager on a selection of games but when you go back to your history you have more than one betslip with the same teams and you win on somedays and lose on others...I don't even bother complaining to the bookies.

Frequently. Even on my day, I experience the same thing as you. When I made a successful deposit and the balance came in, without looking at the bet, I immediately pressed spin automatically 30 times. It was only on the second spin that it became apparent that the bet I was playing was not what I wanted because the balance was not in a large amount, forcing me to stop and lower the amount of bet that was sufficient for the number of spins.

One day, a similar thing happened to one of the PG slot games that did not have a buy item feature. I unconsciously played at a large bet, lucky in the first round immediately got a free spin.

Yes that happened to me in one of the casinos. I was just lucky that it wasn't my whole balance hehe. Did you log in and play while you were tired or sleepy? That was the case for me. Some people also experience this when they try to gamble even though they were tipsy or preoccupied. Gotta be 100% conscious and focused to avoid such costly mistake.

This situation also happened to me when I played early in the morning when I didn't get enough sleep. I thought I have keyed in the right amount but I ended up missing one zero which made me lose all my funds as well. That served me a lesson to avoid betting when you can't be focused because you might make wrong decisions. Things like this are prone to happen because the nominal entered is also almost the same, only the number of digits is 0. What you regret more, of course, is that you are not ready to lose because you entered the wrong nominal, that really hurts, I can feel it in your position.
I usually check many times before I actually make a bet and that's what we have to do. We can't blame anyone in a situation like this because it's purely our own fault, so it's best if we ourselves can minimize the mistakes of those mistakes.

I avoid to bet with a rush but moreover I made each time a double check of the amounts I am playing because this is an error that could be impossible to correct and can have a serious impact on wallet/portfolio.

This is very unfortunate. Be more attentive next time when placing your bets. Maybe swaping balance view mode from btc to dollar may help on this matter.

Personally, I don't remember facing any past events similar to this one you described. Since I really fear it happens to me, I use to be very attentive, checking twice or three times before clicking the roll button. The same is valid for any bitcoin transactions you are going to execute.

It's very unfortunate and it looks like you didn't pay close attention to the bet you made, which in the end you had to accept the consequences for your negligence. but take it easy, it looks like this is common for gamblers. in fact, I have several times the experience of betting wrong. experience that I experienced, usually when I was careless and in a hurry when making a choice.

I have experienced several mistakes, usually in football betting. not only on the nominal bet that we are betting on, but we can also choose the wrong team. this is a normal matter, regardless of win or loss. but not infrequently, mistakes can lead us to luck even though in most cases it is usually detrimental. but in fact, this can happen to anyone if we are negligent and not careful when making a bet. That is why when you are betting with bitcoin you have to be careful with the decimal points because they are always mistaking someone. I was sorry for the mistake and the lost. You must loss in gambling and few in few cases.

I have done such mistake as well but not in gambling but in transaction of fund. I was sending $20 to a friend which she requested me to do so and I was sending the cash to and mistakenly sent $200 to him and luckily I was refunded the balance of the money. Mistake is abide to happen but how to handle the feeling is the main issue. So I will advise you to have thick skin of the lost.

Yes, had similar situations and there was an instance which i was really lucky, it was in Primedice back in 2015 or 2016, set up the bot and while inputting the figures in the bot i made a mess and started the auto bet without noticing and the bet was rolling at 0.05BTC per roll and ended up winning around a dozen BTC and once i noticed, immediately stopped the rolls and was in a shock thinking what i just did as i could have burned everything.

When it comes to losses, i lost 6 BTC at sports bets for a odds of just 1.02 back in 2016 in cloudbet for a football match which was in overtime and it was a really silly bet, the visiting team scored from behind and won the match during the closing stages and their odds were over 10 and i was supposed to place 0.6 BTC but instead entered 6BTC and they did not have a cash out feature during that time and it was a huge mess .

Only what that have happened to me before was that I use lower amount of money to gamble instead of the one that I want to use, like instead to gamble with $10, I can mistakenly press $1, then I can place the bet another time again to make it the proper amount of money that I want to use. If to go for big amount, it has not happened to me before, I have prefer to just check and recheck the amount I input. But if I set it at lower amount, my consciousness sometimes may reduce to recheck the amount I want to use to bet.

We are humans and we are bound of make mistake and sometimes we make a great mistake that leads to regret because it kicks us off balance. Wrong bets are like nightmares because you will loss big in the twinkle of an eye. I call it unplanned loss.

I have made similar mistake recently, I was very excited and wanted to place a bet which I lost after the game. I just had to end my gambling activities for the month because the money I lost was bigger than my gambling budget for that month. Being at ease most time saves alot.

This is one of those things that probably has happened to every single gambler out there and not only on cryptocurrency casinos, this can happen at physical casinos as well in which for some reason or another you may confuse your chips and then make a bet way larger than what you intended, and in my experience whenever you make a mistake like that you lose your bet, I do not know why such a negative outcome follows our mistakes, but it seems this is almost always the case.

Definitely, it's one of the pitfalls that you will find with gambling over time and it happens to everyone who places enough bets down. Rushing in to secure what you think is a great bargain promo offer is another trick that gambling companies use, they might use some rather strategic wording in a promotion advert and without thinking you hop to place a bet - then realize that you might have mistaken a shots taken with a shots on target bet. The only thing you can really do is learn to take a few seconds to re-evaluate every bet before submitting and be sure that everything is entered correctly. Maybe it's harder to spot in those denominations you used, do you have the ability to switch it to an altcoin which might make spotting them easier in future?

This is exactly why when I roll dices there, I set up the balance so it will show in USA Dollars instead Bitcoin. It is easier to set the wager that way, without committing these kinds of mistakes. I would recommend you to do the same in the future.

Well, I lost a lot of money making "wrong bets", but a few times I won some crazy big amounts with "wrong bets". Especially when it comes to setting up auto-betting for some in-house games. Shit happens! In those short moments, usually, everything happens so fast, we can't even react...

It's not like OP can do anything about this... not advice is: just let it go and try to be more careful next time. Most of my mistakes were in a hurry when I was trying to do multiple things quickly like I will miss something important. Patience is the key as always, paying attention to details... I guess it works for all of us, when we get too relaxed is the time when we make a mistake.

Sorry about your loss, I have never encountered that because I've seen the same error done by other people so that made me aware that before casting a bet, I make sure that I have placed the right amount and I even count the decimal places before I do it.
That's quite a big loss for you after getting paid with a one-week round of our campaign. But if ever it had became a win, that's an unexpected win that you've made and it will be another story.

This is exactly why when I roll dices there, I set up the balance so it will show in USA Dollars instead Bitcoin. It is easier to set the wager that way, without committing these kinds of mistakes. I would recommend you to do the same in the future.

I have the same strategy, so I know how much exactly in dollars I am betting with.
It will give you quick look how much it is, because if it is in btc, you can't convert it easy in $.
Lesson learned, a week of work and gone in one wrong bet. I haven't experienced it yet, and hopefully not in the future.
I believe other gamblers have experienced the same. You should really be careful placing your bets especially if you put it in autobet, your bankroll will disappear in seconds.
