I'm sorry for what happened. It seems like you weren't lucky that day. I've heard stories like this before and it often happens to those who are not too focused when playing. Mistakes like this will be avoidable if we are skeptical since our money is involved. It must be a lesson for you to stay alert all the time and always check if everything is well before placing a bet. I know that you feel very disappointed right now but just learn from your mistake. Today morning received the weeks payment. I had the payment of the previous week. Altogether it was around 0.0055 in the wallet. The first bet was planned to be 0.0005BTC. Instead of placing 0.0005BTC, I misplaced 0.005BTC and the bet was lost. This was completely unexpected and it is my fault. If the bet have won my wallet balance could've turned 0.007BTC, now it is an empty wallet.

Have any of you encountered such wrong bets and won/lost

Several times not only on my sigcamp pays but also with  those typical balance that i had deposited on the time i do make out some gamble on which i do accidentally press up that max bet button and

roll it out and ending up with a loss.This is why you should really be that careful on making up bets and trying out to make out adjustment on your bet amount.Zeros could really make your
eyes that mistakenly seen up on how mana zeroes and when you do realize that it is wrong but it is already too late.

Better luck next time and you should really be careful to avoid up these things again.

I can't remember finding myself in such unfortunate incident as I make sure to check and recheck the figures to be sure of what am doing before executing any of my bet. Cause the slightest mistake cam coat me a non-recovery loss that I may not easily forgive myself as to just accepting it as a mistake. I think most persons fall victim of this case when they're in a hurry to book a bet maybe due to a very limited left for the games to kick off especially for sport betting,while some are just out of shared negligence.

Happens all the time I bet.  Especially with bitcoin or any crypto using a lot of digits.  Tons of gambling and drinking alcohol too so even without all the digits people make silly mistakes when boozing.  I guess the odds would be slightly in the house's favor but I bet it evens itself out a lot.

I did experience these wrong bet or input specially when you do play on token thats have lots of zeroes on it like Doge but since it is really that cheap then it doesnt hurt that much if
ever i do placed up some bigger bets considering that i do only make out ample amounts of money or fiat value in token whenever i do gamble.Accidents could really happen and this is why
its really that just right that you should really be that careful everytime you would really be inputting out so that you wouldnt really be ending up

Doing a random double check will reduce these kind of mistakes leading to big loss. Most of the time the gambler losses his control when he's on the losing streak, because the nervousness will make them go for bets without proper check. Anyhow a loss is a loss, this serves to be a reminder and a lesson that we need to be careful with our gambling activities.

This is a big mistake and when the outcome is positive is gives us joy. We need to be careful when we input figures in anything we are doing that is why we need to concentrate do that we will not make mistakes that would cost us a lots of money. Gambling is risky on it own side and we need to be careful so that wi not be a victim of loses we will conduct this kind of painful mistake that can make us be unhappy anytime we remember events like this. I have made this kind of mistake in trdaing and the mistake almost make me to blow my account.

It feels frustrating to ourselves but it is our mistake and we need to accept it --just like before when I was placing a bet on rockets in Roobet but I only intended to bet a small amount, but it looks like I accidentally placed a bet for double the amount I wanted. This is not what I had planned, I was hoping to have a bit of fun and maybe make a small profit, but now I am risking more than I can afford to lose. Yeah, it happen to me a couple of times mate, so what I do is and the same with you, if it will be a mistake but gonna be putting us to win, then it's good. But the sad part is that it's a big fat L, hehehe.

For me somehow i do avoid on this which i do rush up on placing up bets because it is really that prone to errors and mistakes whenever you arent minding on how much you are placing in.
I have commit out this mistake but only once because it did really cost me about $100 on a single roll on dice with low odds but high multiplier but ending up with a losing
bet and that time i did make myself be careful because it is really that something expensive if you commit out these errors.

Shit happened but as you said, it's clearly your fault. Maybe next time, try to be attentive and focus on what you are doing. There is no choice but to accept what happened and move on. Don't think that if you win, you will have a supposed BTC0.007 but think of becoming careful the next time you are placing your bet.

Haha. This was so me few days ago, i was playing dice using my local currency as the main currency in a specific casino. I supposedly betting 4xx ^{(around $7)}, but i put 4xxx ^{(around $72)}.
Because im just changing 4xx and forget to delete the other number to change but add another number instead so it became 4xxx and unfortunately, i lost lmao. I was so sh*t that day.
So i stopped playing then comeback again after 3 days and fortunately i won what i have lost those day.

That was really unfortunate, although I have not experienced anything like that and I don't even hope to experience it ever in my life.

Just imagine if that was the only fund you had that would have resulted in a more serious issue and left you broke. Aside from the example in Op another place where something like this can happen is when you're sending a coin to someone and instead of typing 0.002 you'll accidentally type 0.02 such an error can take place the only way to prevent it is to cross-check what you typed before confirmation any transactions.

This had happened with me in the past and it had brought big win as well as big loss. As my gambling activities were much through the mobile phone easily mistakes happen. We need to be very careful and most of the time these mistakes happen while we play caisno games. With sports betting we get multiple reminders to check the odds and the bet value.

Well it could be a very happy ending if the bet won, unfortunately, it's a costly mistake by the OP. and I guess every gambler here had that one experience of losing our hard earn money from signature campaigns because we didn't double or triple check our bet. We are just so excited about it putting our money on the line that we forget if that is correct or not. Sometimes those zeroes are really misleading and it really could spell the difference in our bet. it happened to me couple of times , most turns losses but once I won and yes that is a huge win lol and I am thankful for that mistake meaning this is the reason also why i don't really care about this kind of wrong bets because in any way? gambling will always make us win or lose because of luck and also  this is the way to end our betting sooner than how long we wanted because it is in the end will happen, we will win or we will lose.

Yeah, I also experienced this before. It was in ETH if I remember it correctly. I should have placed 0.01 ETH but ended up placing 0.1 ETH instead. I also lost it. It wouldn't have happened had I placed it as an early bet because I normally double-check my bets. But it was a live bet, and you know how live odds are very quick to change you need to be quicker in order to grab it right away.

I can still remember that after this, the same mistake happened. I was only lucky because my balance wasn't enough and it came out as an error.

Does the platform you play on have an option to change the visibility of the parameter to dollars? If there is such an option and you choose it, you can reduce the probability of making a mistake to a lower level. We can all make mistakes. In fact, we always say that we are careful, but we can always make mistakes. We are prone to make mistakes by nature. That's why we should always try to be careful and not rush things when we get things done. I have never made such a mistake before, but one day I may make such a mistake. I can't say that I would never make such a mistake.
