At the moment, bitcoin is the most promoted of the cryptocurrencies. Most people only know bitcoin. However, the more people come into the cryptocurrency world, the more they learn about altcoins. The information that someone invested $50 in some altcoin and earned, for example, $1,000 also plays a significant role here. As a result, more and more attention is being paid to altcoins.
Bitcoin might be the most promoted or believed cryptocurrency but those who know about Bitcoin also know about altcoins, so that doesn't actually make them vulnerable to crashes. When Bitcoin's price drops, altcoins drop as well, why? Because people panic that they will crash badly and they start selling all their assets so that they don't need to face a lot of losses. Altcoins are weak, and that is because people have more belief in Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin has proved it in the past, whenever its price drops significantly, it eventually recovers, but when that happens to an altcoin, they hardly manage to gain any value back.

Even though if the price of bitcoin will worth a few dollars again and it will not change the fact that if some altcoins will still worth for money but it may be only a few cents. That reminds me with the situation in 2014 when altcoins meant nothing at that time.
Anything was worth small amounts of money compared to this time. Glad to see that bitcoin was able climbing up even higher.
but not all altcoin will survive and only a good altcoin will survive in that situation, therefore it is indeed the safest to invest in Bitcoin for long term investment, but if you really want to invest in altcoin, then it is better 20-30% of our total portfolio is invested in altcoin and 70-80% in Bitcoin, because investing in altcoin is riskier than investing in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the backborn of all crypto and token as direct relationship with price of btc and its standard value of alt-coin prices we seen improvement and for any gold coins and Altcoins will start dumping with high rate. There are only some coins which are undependable with btc such as gold back up coins or other assets coins.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?
If fiat currency falls, nothing will happen to cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin falls, altcoins will suffer great injuries, some will die along because bthey may never have such opportunity to rise again, also if bitcoin should fall down completely, expect altcoins to have been in extinction, but i believe bitcoin will not die if if could sustain the rigorous experience over the fourteenth years of it existance, it has come to stay.

Only altcoins that has been made as a scam coin that will be dead. Some bad coins still able to survive but it will be dumped so hard. People must aware if altcoins will able to die instantly. There will always be some process before that will happen but if bitcoin die and everything gonna die too.

Bitcoin is still very volatile today because this is the weekend, pump and dump will occur this week, if you ask altcoins will survive and yes of course they will survive, but not all altcoins will survive, but altcoins which do have fundamentals.

Altcoins will survive if you are patient because indeed the impact of bearish is like now, dumps occur in altcoins even though Bitcoin is the one being dumped, therefore if you want to trade or invest in bitcoin it is best to check or analyze bitcoin prices for the future, if not then you will lose if when trading you buy an altcoin then bitcoin dump.

It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own. I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise. I classified bitcoin as 🚜 tractors that levels prices of altcoins. ETH is second world best crypto that occupied core ria marketcap in the crypto market but yet it cannot survive without btc.

Nobody questions why bitcoin is falling though? I mean if bitcoin drops, most of the alts drop as well we know that much, but lets assume a scenario in the future alts are doing so well that bitcoin is no longer first ranked. But, what happened? Why is it not? Alts being good helps bitcoin go higher so it shouldn't really drop, so for bitcoin to drop and alts go up, there must be something wrong with bitcoin alone and nothing wrong with others and I can't see that happening anytime soon. It means if bitcoin drops then others drop as well. I know it is not going to be simple to realize that but bitcoin is the locomotive of this market and wherever it goes, the other ones are just following its footsteps to go to same direction as well.

Altcoins can survive if the Bitcoin price is able to stay above $ 20k, because if the Bitcoin price is below $ 20k I will get out of altcoins as soon as possible, because the dump will be worse than this, moreover the bear market will cause panic selling, and even whales will also sell that coin and buy again if crypto market stable.

Seeing your response, I think you probably didn't read the opening post, because if you did, you would know that the topic is about Bitcoin crashing to 0 and whether altcoins will be able to survive if that happens or not, but you say that if traders are patient, altcoins can survive and that is obviously not a statement about after the Bitcoin has crashed to 0 because in that case, I don't think that any patience or anything can stop altcoins from dumping. Bitcoin is the main pillar of the whole cryptocurrency market, if it shatters, the whole market starts shaking and falling apart, so if there is no Bitcoin, I don't think that there will be any altcoin as well and the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem will just vanish from existence.

all altcoins depend on bitcoin, even though during a bull run altcoin prices can go up thousands of percent while bitcoin is lower than that. eventually bitcoin is the determinant of the ups and downs in the crypto market.

I don't think altcoins can survive without btc, so I think the price of btc will continue to affect the price of altcoins. some examples have been seen when an altcoin is rising, then the btc price suddenly drops, the altcoin will also immediately fall.
100% agree with your opinion, because Bitcoin is an important player in cryptocurrency, so if the price of Bitcoin goes down, then the price of altcoin will also go down, especially if Bitcoin falls, then of course altcoin would not survive, therefore Bitcoin is called the king of cryptocurrency and of course it is true.

At the beginning of the history of cryptocurrency, this may have been true, but now it is completely wrong. It is true that when there is positive and negative news surrounding Bitcoin that can affect the price of altcoins, it is impossible to crash an altcoin. You can't judge the whole thing if only this coin revolves around bitcoin; there are still many other ways to value them if bitcoin doesn't exist. Depending on what they bring, the coverage is high or low. So even though they may be hit hard, altcoins still hold a certain level in the crypto market.

We can now calm down a bit, because the price of Bitcoin is back to $30k again, of course this is good news for all of us, because according to technical analysis if it can break the $31k resistance, then bitcoin can be bullish and now the price of Bitcoin is still above $30k so it is very safe, but remember we are still at a high level of volatility, so prepare your best strategy.

Altcoins cannot be survive without BTC. If you looked into the market, when the price of bitcoin down and all of the altcoins gonna fall too. So in my opinion bitcoin is just like the central of any altcoins in cryptospace.

you are completely right. Especially when bitcoin is in decline for a long time, then some altcoins generally cease to exist, since there is simply no demand for them and they are traded only against the dollar and have many zeros in price. as for me, such falls are even a good thing, since the market is being cleared of various dubious altcoins.

Unfortunately this is not a permanent process and those coins which disappeared are going to be eventually replaced by many other coins as scammers have nothing to lose by releasing a lot of projects, however I really expect that at some point on the future as adoption grows and people get disappointed with altcoins that we will finally see most of those coins disappear, as scammers run out of naive people to scam and deceive with their lies.
