I may invest in some good projects like ETH and ADA or some coins with solid capital backing like BNB for the medium term. However, my concerns are centered on the price instability of altcoins and this is reason enough for me not to trust them.

I don't know, but it is also one of the psychological effects that 99% of projects getting failed, and our investments are getting sucked into scams. What i learnt for several years is people is waiting the good moment to buy it even on this bear market situation. Some people already aware that bitcoin halving will happen next year so maybe they hold their fund to invest in later on next bull run. People are getting smarter they know the timing of investing in cryptocurrency.
