What tool do you recommend for recording slot and live games for disputes?

Unfortunately, bugs or mistakes from dealers can happen sometimes at slot games and live table games (or live sport betting). And it's usually very difficult to explain it and to prove it to the casino customer support. The easiest way would be to send a video of the round showing and proving the issue. I've heard that some people are always recording their screen when they are playing live games and slots or when they place live bets, in the same way as people use dashcams when they are driving. Which tool is convenient for doing that?

Finally I've found a useful feature available on Windows 10 and Windows 11. The Xbox game bar allows you to record back the last minutes/dozens of seconds (you can set it up) elapsed if something you want to back up happens, like a dashcam. That's what I was looking for because I'm afraid I will forget to launch the recorder before starting to play the day I will need it.

I usually used OBS for my pc and just a screen recording when I’m using my phone. This might be a little inconvenient but that’s ok, because problems or bugs can happen anytime and its not about having a trust issue with the site, I think its more about your prioritizing your own safety and having that video as your evidence can be a good one, I’m just doing this for a live bets.

OBS is the best one there is, although the file size can somewhat be huge after all the recording is done. You just have to get the right mix of quality and file size in order to get a somewhat acceptable end result in the end. There is also this one web-based screen capture application that they used on job interviews although I kinda forget what the app is. That, too, is acceptable although most of the time when I was using it, the file tends to be corrupted leading to a lot of frustrations and you not capturing what you really need to capture to file for disputes against the casino.

Good to hear that the Xbox game bar has the feature that you're looking for.

Unfortunately, OBS has no editing features unlike other softwares where you can cut clips on the go so you'd need another one like Premiere or Vegas but this tutorial should help you enable the same feature you need on the Xbox game bar if you're still willing to give it a go. You can also run OBS on startup but you have to go through extra steps to make it work and the replay feature requires more memory if you're planning to increase the time limit.

And this can explain what you mean to them so they can investigate right away. I think there are many names for apps on mobile that can record directly. Once I heard about AZ recorder apps but did not know how to use them.

I've never done it because I don't think that a trusted casino would do things like that. Or even if the casino commits fraud, I don't think it will be easy for us to prove it if there is no strong evidence to show that the casino did it.

I used to have Screencast-O-Matic when I have some businesses where video editing was essential. Their paid service is good. With the free service I guess you have limits of recording sessions. Maximum length you can go with is 15 minutes or something. When you are doing something to keep records to use later as evidences, you needs a tool that is constantly recording your screen. It's lightweight too, does not consume much resources of your device.

Android phones have built-in screen-cast options. It's even easier on phone. No idea about iPhones though.

In all seriousness, it's definitely frustrating when something goes wrong and you can't prove it. Because of this, recording your screen is a must. There are many excellent options for recording your gaming. OBS Studio is one choice I find appealing. You don't have to worry about covert costs or dubious practices because it's open source and available at no cost to you. As an added bonus, it doesn't require a high level of technical expertise to operate. One option is to use a dashcam, such as a GoPro, and wear it on one's head while gameplay. That'll attract people's attention in the casino for sure. (Haha, I kid, don't actually do that.)

But let's get back to this business of recording the screen. The app Bandicam is another great alternative. It doesn't come for nothing, but it's cheap and packed with useful functions. It has also been there for a while, so you know it is a solid resource. There are absolutely no errors or flaws in this! Hopefully not.

If you are playing from your phone, I like to use XRecoder... because it has a fixed button on the screen that you can quickly tap for a screen capture, without having to record the whole session. (You can use the two button combination on the phone, but this gives you a faster access to the screen capture)

It has some nice features and it is not too hard on the phones resources... so it does not slow down your game play like many of the other recorders I tried.

I think some slot games has a built-in recorder on them and once you finish playing the game you can watch your replay but if that can't capture the bug or the issue that we are facing, it would be better to record them using a dedicated recorder. If we are using a phone, we might have an in-built recorder but some phones might not get a good quality on using this recorder and sometimes they can't include a sound.

For this we can use the one that you recommend which was the AZ recorder. When it comes to pc or laptop, I only tried one recorder so far and that would be the OBS studio. This wasn't user/newbie friendly but I managed to record my game live on Facebook the first time I use it. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube that can help you configure this thing.

for desktop i use OBS and for mobile i use my phone native screen recorder.
but to be honest I very rarely use my desktop because more often I am outdoors I mostly use screen record from my phone whenever I place sports bets and slot games just in case a system error occurs I can provide proof of screen record.

The default screen recording of my graphics cards is the one that I used.

Not literally for the purposes of recording my slot games but I'm using it when I like to record some of the online games I'm playing with. Almost all advanced graphics cards should have that built-in software.

No need to install any 3rd party applications not unless finding other advance options or features.

There are two methods of recording the slot game. On one hand, I could not do it, but I have played it on the slot game (if I have an idea of where to place the bets) but only with my own computer, not with my own computer. The other way, if I wanted to record a slot game, I could run it to the online casino machine, and with other software, and then with that, if I wanted to record a live game, I could do it. On the other hand, the slot game would never play. It would not know who spins or who wins and I could easily see them all at the same time.

I've never really thought about this idea, and i think it's a great one honestly, as a gambler who carries out most of my gambling activities on my mobile phone, I think my screen recorder will do the job of recording my slot or live game session perfectly well, I don't see any need to waste storage space as well as data downloading recording app if the phones screen recording feature is good enough, mine is absolutely good with good graphics as well, so it's the best for me...

For those who use pc, I have no idea to be honest, I hardly gamble on my pc.

For "slot", some providers have a feature "replay" example like pragmatic.

If you feel there has some mistake or other error, rather than screen recording you can share your replay gameplay and try to verify the error by contacting the provider slot after that give the proof to the casino. Live casino, the only way is by video recorded.

I don't think you need to install apps, If you have the newest device Smartphone/Laptop or other most of the devices already included the recorded apps. From my perspective, which apps doesn't matter as long can recorded your section game.

I'm a firm believer of not using fancy-shmancy gear especially if it's for something as direct and important as documenting stuff. Regular screen recorders are fine, I used to use OBS back in the days unintentionally cause I used to stream videogames and just leave the video recording software on while I'm betting off-cam. You have to have a pretty mid-line PC for it to work though, and a good storage space with at least 128 GB to save videos of. Nowadays some providers, as what Ryzaadit said provide their own replay feature. Which I believe is much better because well it's their own records against them so there's bound to be some recompense. So there you have it. Gamble away and gamble responsibly.
