I can't upload the screenshot, but result shows that I have little or no gambling addiction.
Everything was in the negative except for the fact that I usually gamble to cover up for a lost gamble.
I try to curtail unnecessary waste of finances but I can't cut gambling, understanding that gambling is not a win-win but a win lose, I'll not feel bad at a lose instead try to cover it up.

The thing is.... people with a gambling addiction or any addiction cannot be helped, until they acknowledge that they have a problem. A test like this will be ineffective if they do not answer these questions truthfully.

Also, some people "ignore" their gambling problem, even if it is thrown in their face. They find several excuses for their behavior and tell people that it is just harmless fun, while Rome is burning around them.

Enjoy the test and be 100% truthful with you answers.  Wink

yes of course this will work with honesty and all people who feel themselves as active gamblers don't ever test this if you don't want to be honest because with honesty of course this test will work, if you get bad test results from this site at least they can find someone to be able to change the mindset to gamble wisely and responsibly in the future.

Most of choices are "NO" but still ending up on having Moderate Indication of Gambling AddictionCheesy

I agree into some words above that being honest is sometimes its really hard. There are indeed questions could really be answ0ered neither Yes or No.LOL0
In general, i do play when i do get bored which means i do seek for leisure but there are times which greeds do activates. hehe

We are all addicts... when we do things we like we need to be addicted, more or less. I believe most of us play comfortably, but I agree that there's some greediness in each of us, and it turns on more or less often. Moments of heat and passion... and not-so-rational thinking.

In the end, I think that it all comes down to the simple question, can you afford to spend money on gambling? Those who can afford to play & lose will gamble for fun and entertainment, and those who risk what they can afford to lose will face consequences, sooner or later.

1.The creator of this test must put some "trick questions" because many gamblers would lie when doing such tests.
A "trick question" is a question whose answers might contradict with the answers of other questions, so that the survey creators might find out which gamblers is lying and which one tells the truth.
2.Answering the questions with yes and no isn't enough for an accurate measurement of the gambling addiction.
Many polls have questions, in which the survey participants have to evaluate their answers from 1 to 5.
Like "How likely are doing to a casino, after you have lost a big amount of money?" and the users have to pick a number from 1 to 5.
Anyway, creating such test is a great idea.

Gambling Addiction Test - if you have opened this topic, congrats, you are already addicted Cheesy

I have passed the test and got "Little or No Indication of Gambling Addiction". Even though it is said that I am not addicted, it does not say that there is no chance I wont become one one day. Personally, I think I am addicted, but I have other interests or hobbies, or I simply dont have much time to gamble, so my addiction isnt highly pronounced.

Here’s the question for the test for easy reference, You will need to answer it on the website to see the result.
1. Do you spend lots of time thinking about gambling or planning a gambling activity?

Just planning a activity on what games I would like to play for the day but I don't spend 3 hours or above since I think this is sort of abusing myself if I do so.

2. Do you need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel excited?
Sometimes yes since the thrilling part betting above on what you plan is somehow satisfying.

3. Do you unsuccessfully try to cut back on your gambling?
Yes out of frustration before.

4. Do you feel irritable or restless when you try to limit your gambling?
Not at because limiting yourself is part of discipline and that could avoid you to get addicted on the game.

5. Do you lie to loved ones about your gambling habits?

Gamblers are lier so most of us do this to avoid unnecessary talks towards what we currently enjoy.

6. Has gambling interfered with your work, school, or relationships?
So far no gambling fun is temporary.

7. After losing money gambling, do you often return to it with the intention to make up for the loss or break even?

Yes, its good to have aim but don't play aggressively because you will get nothing or maybe have more higher chance to lose your money again.

8. Do you have to ask others to bail you out of financial troubles due to gambling?
Nope can't afford to get bad impressions if my friend or relative knows that I'm struggling because of this casino matters(but luckily this is not yet happening to me).

9. Do you ever gamble when you feel anxious, sad, helpless or guilty?

No, That's bad condition to play because its hard to focus when you are distracted on some issues in life.

That was a good one, so I appreciate the OP for sharing this test. It's an initial test for those who feels like they are prone to being a gambling addict but in case you badly need help, this ain't the solution.
I tried the test and most of my answers was a no because that's the truth. It's not like I am near the point where I would be arrested for so many loans or dragging other people from my hobby. And I don't really bet too many anymore unlike in the past where I dice almost the whole day.
The test was also a bit short, I am expecting some questions that will be hard to answer but it ain't there.

I discover this site few weeks ago after I experience a devastating lose before. Personally I don’t know if it’s really accurate or not but there’s no harm on doing self assessment especially if you are already doubting on your gambling habits status.
I think these days many ignore the signs and think they can just snap out of it when they have not even acknowledged the problem, when the solution to solve a problem starts with acceptance.

You can use the attached link for 3 minutes gambling addiction test and share the result by sending screenshots on the comment section.

Gambling Addiction Test (Self-Assessment) : https://www.psycom.net/gambling-addiction-test
Thank for the share, I did take the test and it suggests it's not a diagnosis tool nor can it be taken to be accurate (though they haven't admitted this).

Here’s the question for the test for easy reference, You will need to answer it on the website to see the result.
1. Do you spend lots of time thinking about gambling or planning a gambling activity?
Thinking about a gaming or match activity, Yes because of some of the competitions am involved in both on and off site but not gambling related.

2. Do you need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel excited?
There is no thrill in that, besides smartest and profitable gamblers know how to manage risk and when to stop.

3. Do you unsuccessfully try to cut back on your gambling?
Unsuccessful no, It's all about self control no matter they edge to gamble and this comes with time.

4. Do you feel irritable or restless when you try to limit your gambling?
No ways, patience is the name of the game something I have learnt from trading forex.

5. Do you lie to loved ones about your gambling habits?
How or when is this considered a lie when you aren't asked about it???

6. Has gambling interfered with your work, school, or relationships?
Once when I was receiving a prize but this is a fan activity that doesn't come between my productive times.

7. After losing money gambling, do you often return to it with the intention to make up for the loss or break even?
I don't chase my loses because I know losses are part of the game and the sooner you know this the more likely you won't lose more money than expected.

8. Do you have to ask others to bail you out of financial troubles due to gambling?
My gambling habits never come to this extent.

9. Do you ever gamble when you feel anxious, sad, helpless or guilty?
Gambling is not my feel better activity especially that this is a source of unhealthy dopamine, better going to the gym than this....

BTW, My personal result is Mild Indication of Gambling Addiction.
I got the same result and I feel it's because of how questions have been structured especially with the yes or no answers.

Actually, this test is just to show us some weaknesses which an addicted gambler has, because all these questions are pointing to addiction. An addicted person will display such character, since he or she is being trapped down by his/her emotion

This a good test but let us tell ourselves the truth, people who are neck deep in gambling, I mean people who are gambling addicts know within themselves that the level to which they
are addicted even without taking the test. Even if they claim not to know, their family and friends would have cautioned them about it and the how itis impacting on their lives and wellbeing directly and indirectly.
One question that I think should be on the list is "My family and friends have told me to quit gambling."

C'mon man exactly what I wanted to say upon my first view of this topic, I mean every gambler knows within if he habits are getting out of control and for certain most addicts will always tell themselves massive lies on their gambling addition problems, i don't know for sure but I feel an adiction in gambling is always on self denial for the person involved, I could remember when I had similar problems with gambling, I mean I always knew deep down in me that my habits were getting out of hand but the issue was , was I self prepared to stop this act because I believe you are the only one who can stop this act. Unfortunately for me I had to take the vital decision that was needed in my habits towards gambling and I would say it has truly helped me.

"Little or No Indication of Gambling Addiction"

This is what I got from the test. I believe that's true for my case since I do not seek gambling any time of the day. I think it could be worse if I had continuously won in gambling and felt that profit from gambling, you know? The hook, but I failed and have a little sense of it, TBH.

Check yourself and be honest about what you are going through. In that way, you will be okay.

I did it and here was my results:

Little or No Indication of Gambling Addiction

“Your answers suggest that there is Little or No indication that you are experiencing symptoms common among people with a gambling addiction. However, this quiz is no substitute for a proper diagnosis from a health care professional, and we would encourage you to schedule an appointment with your doctor or other mental health professional if you are concerned about your gambling.”

I only gamble for entertainment so it seems accurate enough to me.

No real test is indicative of gambling addiction, I think I've used this test a while ago, and had asked a few of my friends who mind you, are poker players planning to go professional, just for laughs. Turns out we also had mild indication of a gambling addiction even though we really track our bets and never let a dime slip away unnoticed, as well as keeping our emotional state in check to make sure we're level-headed when we're playing. I know this could still be a good gauge of how bad do you think you have gone in the world of gambling addiction, but for me the ultimate giveaway that you may have been addicted with gambling already is if you're already asking yourself/second guessing yourself. "Am I addicted to gambling?" or "Am I already addicted to gambling?" Once you start asking yourself these questions, you know something is awry.
