I remember coming across multiple articles and news reports on various farms around the world adopting a more 'sustainable approach' to bitcoin mining back in 2021/22. Lately, the news coverage seems to have reduced and there is barely any coverage on the topic. Is sustainable mining still rising? If so, which regions practice this way of mining?
FYI: I feel like it is a great approach and more farms and more farms should use sustainable resources to power farms, which could lead to a larger (and more environmentally responsible) population being interested in bitcoin and mining.
I am using solar energy for bitcoin mining. I still have some issues with controlling the maximum temperature in the room. To handle that, I have to take a separate power connection other than solar power. When it comes to your question, my answer is sustainable approaches(Hydro Power, Wind Power) are already there.
