looking at the top major altcoins, eth can be consider as such because most coins are deployed on ethereum smart contract and some like BNB fork ethereum blockchain, If ethereum can fix the high gas fees issues, i think more people including me will build on it and that will make ethereum more dominant in the future
yes, I agree with you, compared to other altcoins, eth can be called the king of altcoins, firstly, it has a stable price and there is growth, but in general I think this cryptocurrency is promising and in the near future eth may be the currency of the future in the world, I honestly invest in this cryptocurrency for today, because you can earn on it

Undoubtedly, Ethereum holds the title of being the most dominant Altcoin in the cryptocurrency market. However, smaller investors are finding themselves distracted by the high gas fees associated with using the Ethereum network, causing them to opt for alternative networks like BSC, TRC, or Polygon, which offer lower transaction costs. To retain the interest of small traders and investors, the Ethereum developers need to focus on resolving this issue of high gas fees.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrencies. If we only focus on altcoins, ETH is the most successful smart contract platform that owns the largest base of fans compared to other altcoins. The current market cap of Ethereum is over $200 Billions and the this will be more likely to increase in the long term. Can ETH be considered as the King of Altcoins ? What do you think ? Please let me know.

the greatness of Ethereum cannot be doubted by any party because ethereum deserves to be called the king of Altcoins and Bitcoin is the king of all coins. and ethereum has proven to the world that every year it has significant developments, and ethereum is one of the coins that investors really trust after bitcoin. we can see such high numbers in various exchange markets.

Ethereum really changed the crypto and blockchain space, when Bitcoin first come, it was only for store of value, people didn't really feel the impact of the tech behind the bitcoin, it all changed when ethereum came and offered smart contract features, this gives a lot of people opportunity to understand and create things on the blockchain, so i totally agree that Ethereum is King of Alt coins and Bitcoin is the king of crypto for been the first to deploy the tech called blockchain

legal, the king of alcoins is ethereum in this forum no one disagrees if ethereum is the king of alcoins, this proves ethereum is a big coin and in the future ethereum coin cannot be competed with other alcoins, if btc is destroyed can ethereum replace btc ?
When Ethereum was made the king of altcoins in many opinions. Not that Ethereum can replace everything. Destroying Bitcoin is tantamount to destroying the crypto market. So it's not right if you ask "if btc is destroyed can ethereum replace btc ?". You have to ask, what would happen to Ethereum if Bitcoin didn't exist? Maybe Ethereum doesn't exist either? This is not the right time to talk about BTC crashing or anything, because investors are investing in Bitcoin in droves. If you still ask questions like that, it seems you wrote something without thinking about the facts.

Indeed, Ethereum is often considered the king of altcoins. One of the main reasons is that Ethereum has the largest ecosystem and community of developers in the crypto market. Additionally, Ethereum 2.0 has already been launched, which aims to address the scalability and high cost issues plaguing the Ethereum network. With this upgrade, Ethereum can solidify its position as a major player in the cryptocurrency market.

What's new? You repeated same things that's already been discussed in these 12 pages.
Tell us something we don't know. How does it become king with that upgrade? Or was it downgrade? POW to POS maybe a big mistake?

They will grow together, but I doubt ETH will ever flip BTC. Bitcoin is the king and started it all. BTC is the original cryptocurrency, the most decentralized, with an organic and anonymous creation. None of that will be replicated again, therefore it is special. Ethereum is a completely different use case and they will both grow together.

I think ETH is the King of Altcoins for now, but it may not last forever. ETH has a lot of advantages, but it also has a lot of challenges. ETH needs to successfully transition to ETH 2.0, which is not guaranteed.

Ethereum is the king of alt-coins in the cryptocurrency industries, because after Bitcoin next to see is the Ethereum, which has the second large amount of cryptocurrency liquidity in the cryptocurrency market, where many others Alt-coins depends on the Ethereum Blockchain for any given transaction.

The topic can be quite subjective, IMO. Other people can have a different view on this because they are trailing a different coin as there a other altcoins that boast a much bigger growth in the past year but just like what I've said, it's subjective. But in terms of trading volume per day, ETH can be hailed as the king of altcoins and it has been listed on the Forbes as #1 among altcoin's category.

Quite impossible, I reckon. But if bitcoin will vanish or from your words, is destroyed, top altcoins like ETH are also expected to follow the trend.

Yes, Ethereum is not only the king of Altcoins, he is the progenitor. If there was no ETH, no such variety of tokens. But if Bitcoin dies, then Ethereum can hardly be kept. With the death of BTC, the whole world of crypto will collapse. Let's hope this does not happen in our lifetime)

Ethereum has long been ranked second only to Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization, and it is currently the best Altcoin. If Bitcoin is the king, Ethereum is the queen.
Many projects are competing to construct new Blockchains that are said to be faster and more usable than Ethereum, but in the end, they are no better than Ethereum. Ethereum is really good since it allows developers to construct a wide range of things. And, for the time being, Ethereum is the network with the most active users.

I think we still need some time with cryptocurrency to fully understand its' influence on the economy to say what is "the King", most of the crypto its still unstable and even ETH can lose ground

Ethereum is really good since it allows developers to construct a wide range of things. And, for the time being, Ethereum is the network with the most active users.

You can say that again. Even so-called "Ethereum killers" are using the EVM as their backbone. Developers can create or port Ethereum-based smart contracts written on Solidity into other blockchain networks compatible with the EVM. It's no wonder why Ethereum is still the "King". Only chains with their own programming language built from scratch (Sui, Aptos, among a few others) have a better chance of beating Ethereum in the long run.

So far, competing chains have been unsuccessful in their quest to take down Ethereum as the leading altcoin in the market. I doubt that will change in the future. Crypto/Blockchain tech is all about diversity, so why focus on replacing ETH when developers can build their own successful blockchain that will last for generations? Just my opinion Smiley

ETH is indeed the king of Altcoins and BTC is the king of Coin / Altcoin. For ETH itself Investors have never had any doubts about ETH even though its value is currently declining and that is reasonable in my opinion because it follows developments in market values. This is not a problem that means eth holders because they know the performance and potential behind this Vitalik coin will definitely rebound and ATH will return.
everything will be the same as what you said, that it must be admitted that until now eth is still the best for altcoins, and always gets its portion, even though there are many good altcoins, all investors still hope for eth until now. it seems very difficult and irreplaceable, although maybe BNB could very well become eth's rival in the future. if bitcoin improves, then you can be sure that all the best altcoins will also follow and it's not unusual and so far it has been like this, when bitcoin reaches ATH it will also be followed by the best altcoins.

I am interested in your statement saying that BNB will be ETH's Rival. My view is still very far. BNB's younger brother, Eth, is unlikely to quickly overtake ETH's position as the King of Altcoins, even though it has a large number of users. Investors are now very proficient in determining their long-term investments. The choice is exactly the king of coins and the king of altcoins.

Well I was pleased to read about this 'bullish' news for Visa credit cards with Ethereum. Visa credit cards is deploying what it is called 'Paymaster' on Ethereum testnet.

This will be a big change for the market to have gasless transactions. https://cryptopotato.com/visa-deploys-paymaster-contracts-on-ethereum-testnest-for-gasless-transactions/

I agree if someone says ETH is the king of altcoins. There is currently no altcoin with a market cap as big as ETH, and I don't think it will be replaced in a short time. I am very amazed, even with very high network fees there are still many people transacting on the ETH network. I think this is enough to show how successful ETH is right now.
