I was looking for some coins to buy in the market,and I discovered that Solana price is too low for me to use huge amount of money to buy and hold like the way I have used my salary to purchased Bitcoin last month. Solana price has decreased to $19 few days ago that made me to ask if the price will increase to $40 this year, do you believe Solana investors will experience $40 or more than $40 this year? I have seen many massive moved of other coins price that made me to feel the same with Solana price because am very ready to invest in Solana if I can get positive answers from this topic.

I won't make any attempt to buy any altcoin at this moment and I am not considering buying some shortly since the market volatility of those coins is highly unrealistic and doesn't follow any pattern so at this time of market uncertainty, it is hard to trust such coins, Solana has had its own share of market attacks and characterised by a lot of attempt pump and dump on multiple occasions.


And for that, we have to apply caution and if you must buy altcoin I will advise you to look toward Ethereum or BNB for now.

Of course Solana can reach $ 40 but for now it is difficult, because there is no good news for Solana yet,
we will wait until there is good news from FTX again and SOL will experience a pump that will 100% happen,
so it's better if you buy SOL at $ 15 to $ 16 because if FTX 2.0 launches then you won't see SOL at $16 anymore.

People shouldn't really base their investments on the fact that FTX 2.0 might be the reason why SOL will go up because people have already lost interest and trust in that exchange and I doubt anyone would want to buy any coin that is in any way associated with it or its relaunch. It's much better if someone buys a coin that is independent and its growth is totally dependent on the success or failure of its own project and not another exchange or project.

That being said, if SOL has any chance of recovering, it is the bull market, once Bitcoin enters the bull market, all the altcoins will start pumping as well just like how it happens normally, that is when SOL might be able to gain some value again but no one knows if it will go above $40 or not.

thats true people are talking sol gonna be rising as if the revival of some certain exchange gonna have something to do with it, they definitely won't ever reinvest in solana again.
I just don't think there gonna be any real reason that could make the price of solana rise with the revival of ftx 2.0 at best it will only slight increase but thats just my 2 cents.

considering current price of solana, it still realistic target honestly, and the ftx revival might be turning the tide once again for some of the coins that have massively affected with their collapsing.
though there's no guarantee at all that such thing will emits such influence. regardless when victims gets reimbursed, that also includes many that holds solana. it could be double edged sword honestly.
but then again, i'm sure if that happens, the market will be rather in bullish, since right now the fear index as reflected in CMC, is relatively low.
I guess thats good thing if some big event like the revival of ftx will occur.

SBF drained a lot of liquidity on Solana ecosystem also SBF is the main reason why this blockchain project pump so hard because he drive liquidity on this project from VC due to his influence. I’m surprised seeing Solana price still above 1$ regardless of SBF fraud activity on all the project he became involved.

I think VC and some retails is just holding to wait for new investors to enter and use it as exit liquidity to the price which they originally purchased their token. There's a lof of good decentralized blcokchain out there compared to this centralized blockchain. I think BSC is far better in Solana since it has a better organic liquidity that comes from retail investors. Solana is still a ticking time bomb for this current price. I doubt it will reach 40$ this without Bitcoin reaching new ATH.

Okay let say SBF help Solana but don't forget Solana is also one of those solid projects in the past. Its own charm is also what made it loved by the many. IDK if Solana still got it but one thing is for sure, and that is its reputation have been scratched because of the involvement of SBF. This is why I'm skeptical if it can recover this year. BSC is no doubt a good coin but I think both coins are not on the same niche so comparing them seems a bit off.

Also, I don't think BSC's liquidity is organic when this token came from a crypto exchange. I see that you also mentioned Bitcoin there but can we erase the fact that all coin depends on Bitcoin? Bitcoin can't do anything if the coin is just plain bad.

one of the good news that might affect the well being of solana might be the revival of certain platform but then again that doesn't necessarily guarantee increase in term of solana valuation.
I just think that solana will just be stagnant from now on but i could be wrong.
after all the main drive solana having was the massive institutional investments from some certain company out there but right now these companies are facing difficulties.
but I guess considering the fact that solana current value is $20, getting to $40 is still reachable honestly.

In the Q4 i think SOL can reach that price because if we see the market lately.

agree with your opinion, if you look at their last ATH it is indeed very high from the current price, so SOL will be able to do it if it only achieves at that price.

At the beginning of the year, when SOL was below $10, I didn't believe the coin could recover at least to its current price due to the collapse of the FTX exchange.
