I agree, but I think your first wallet as a newbie shouldn't remain to be your wallet when you have already accumulated so much. Normally, a newbie's first Satoshis are bought for the sake of experience, or earned from faucets, for example. Security measures may not be strictly followed also. You are very correct OP. It is little drops of water that makes an ocean and every SAT is valuable and shouldn't be considered insignificant. Patience is quite a necessity in the crypto industry, every Satoshi gotten if patiently accumulated with time you definitely gonna make a good sum that you could have imagined while starting. For if you can't start big like others who have the opportunity to start big then don't despite your little beginning.

When you say you're now a proud owner of Bitcoin do you mean 1 BTC or still in Satoshi but much bigger values. When investing in Bitcoin, I try to teach whoever I'm introducing into the industry to not get too involved with the market much. I don't believe in having to trade your Bitcoin for profits constantly instead I prefer going with the investment aspect. Just my opinion though but instead of me to be constantly in the market accumulating Satoshi as you say, I'll prefer I just save up the money and wait for an opportunity to enter the market to buy the quantity that I can afford at the moment.

I then repeat this whenever I have enough specific amount saved up. As for the securing of my investment. There's a saying that if you can manage the small money that you're receiving now, there's every chance you won't be able to manage large sum of money and I believe say goes for protecting your investment. If you can secure the small portion of Bitcoin that you own now, then you might likely lose them all when you get higher amount. Securing of your Bitcoin is very easy to achieve, just make sure nobody can access your private keys expect you and you're good.

As someone whose first interaction with cryptocurrencies and especially Bitcoin was faucets, in 2014, I fully comprehend your point. Satoshis are still fractions of Bitcoin, and a few years ago, these faucets were giving out a huge amount of them for free. Some of us, including myself, had these fractions of BTC until a few years ago, which were worth a decent amount of money. I'm still occasionally collecting Satoshi through Freebitcoin, just for the experience.

The thing is, the first thing that comes to the minds of quite a lot of people when they about to buy Bitcoin is how they are going to get rich quick through it, but if scammers hack into your wallet and steal your funds, then you do not even have any Bitcoins to get rich quick with to begin with, even though Bitcoin isn't a get rich quick scheme per se. If a social esperiment is carried out on the number of people hodling Bitcoins in custodial wallets, i'm pretty sure the number that does so would be pretty alarming, it is bad security practice that should be completely eschewed.
