When I was growing up, I had a lot of experience gambling on games like:

----PlayStation competition
----dice
----animal racing
----food eating gamble
----playing soccer
And so much more but its seem the world has evolved so greatly and many things we do before, have now been inputed in the internet and its now makes it access alot easier but I had some recent arguments with some folks in my locality that before, gambling physically with people was more fun than doing online in these recent casino that seem to cover all of our old gambling habits but I argued on the latter. So I thought I should drop here and here some of opinion of most advance gamblers with lots of gambling experience.

There's more things that need clarification about physical gambling and online gambling, there's a recent topic about online casinos and street gambling which is better, but when we talk about the physical gambling here, it can either be the live matches organized by people for gambling or the one gamblers appears at the gambling station or casino house to bet, all these depends on our choices and preferences and both were fun to have.

As what @Solosanz said, it's more of a PvP (Player vs Player), so of course there is this element of interaction and obviously it is going to be more fun. But if you are comparing like going to physical casinos vs playing online, it's really up to the individual itself.

There are people who prior to the advent of online casinos, would rather play and go to traditional base casinos to play, insert their money on a slot machine, or sit on a table for a baccarat or black jack, or roll a dice in a craps game. And so it's more fun as there are also other gamblers that you might know in that casino or even had talks with the dealer itself.

My first experience with gambling was in person but it hasn't really influenced my personal preference for playing online. I think it just depends on your personality. I'm a rather introverted type of guy, I'd 100% choose to spend the day in my house doing whatever the hell I want if possible compared to going out on trips and whatnot. Playing gambling is physically more fun because we interact directly with people who also play there, even interact directly with the dealer, and we don't find that in online gambling. However, for easy access and time efficiency, online gambling is very efficient. We can access anytime and anywhere.

If I can remember very well when I was so much in street, if I should be sincere about this, gambling among friends is more fun than gambling online today, it is 50:50 chance of winning or losing, so nothing like house edge and you move your body and have fun during the time.  But it has disadvantages too, the main disadvantage is when gambling with somekne you may know though but not that your friend and your bet result to fight, it can be brutal.

Online gambling is fun too, but not fun like while I am gambling with friends directly at that time. I even remember when I was in high school, we use to read the past questions for the exams that we are going to do to enter university, we even used it to gamble, like telling a friend that he can not get certain score when answering past questions, and gamble for it. This made us to be very serious and gamble with what helped us.

But on my experience dominant card games on streets are card related gambling games simply because it is more accessible. Regarding online platform, it is part of technological advancements; a matter as well of adapting with changes. I'd say both of them can be more fun if you're gambling with your friends but i'd prefer internet gambling over physical because it's faster and more convenient. Also, there are more options to choose from aside from just sports and casino games.

In my view, each of them can be just as fun as long as you know how to level up the experience like meeting the right group of people or participating in other gambling events.

Well, for some people, offline gambling as you mentioned, can provide greater pleasure than online gambling because you can meet other people who will be your betting opponent.

But with today's progress, many people have switched to online gambling, where they don't need to go to a physical casino or other places.  Both physical and internet gambling are both fun but considering the old days gambling and present digital gambling, internet gambling is more fun because it is less risk and more secured. I know how it feels to remember the past and how's the feeling there and the fun, joy, and enjoyment that it has brought us. Yeah, too many things have changed due to the evolution of technology that includes the usage of the internet. Change is constant and we can't stop or slow it down. I may not have that much gambling experience but I've also seen those changes as a teen that have become a gambler and saw the traditional games up to the common and modern ones. Let's just enjoy the current one and reminisce the old experiences but that doesn't mean we can't do it anymore.
