I don't usually trade exchange tokens unless it's just for a short period of time I mean day-to-day trading, because if the exchanges fall today the token will also be devalued, I just prefer buying and holding BTC if not btc for long hold nothing else. any other coin is just for short period profit-making.

That's the best strategy that's no doubt and no need to argument about it as what anyone can do. After you purchase bitcoin then you may proceed into buying these dex tokens if you think they're worth to take.

IIRC, Idex was once a popular dex and has got a token but then, I have no idea how much the value of its token now or if it's still existing.

I do agree with this, as the regulatory body continues to be hostile to the Crypto market, more and more people will prefer to move to DEXes and we have started to see this with the growth of volume on most of these DEXes, the success of L2 has helped in this area also because it brings down the transaction cost greatly as compared to trading on Ethereum.

As far as exchange is concerned, the only coin/token I have is BNB which is, of course, a centralized platform that is trying to look like a decentralized one but still trusted by many people. However, it is just around 3 coins and in fact I am planning to sell it as soon as possible while it is currently doing good. I am sure that DEXs tokens can be good to invest with but we have to be careful as things can easily go down in the market of cryptocurrency...just like what we witnessed in FTX. There are always risks and opportunities.

Maybe you are right but I don’t usually trade on DEXC coins unless it is for very short period ….
Still u can invest in these coins but always buy with very small percentage of your total portfolio and also in parts

Perhaps a bit of a misunderstanding, in the last few days we have all seen how much L2 Arbitrum created when they announced the airdrop. I saw that a lot of DEXs immediately rallied and launched their own tokens. However, basically any environment is the same, it is not absolutely perfect as scammers are always taking advantage of development and to perform bad behavior.
And to be honest, for me DEX is not a place to prioritize transactions, so only the cases that can't sell on CEX I look to DEX.

Perhaps a bit of a misunderstanding, in the last few days we have all seen how much L2 Arbitrum created when they announced the airdrop. I saw that a lot of DEXs immediately rallied and launched their own tokens. However, basically any environment is the same, it is not absolutely perfect as scammers are always taking advantage of development and to perform bad behavior.
And to be honest, for me DEX is not a place to prioritize transactions, so only the cases that can't sell on CEX I look to DEX.

And if I'm not mistaken, DEX has been in the market for so long already, nothing against them, but it seems that they are still very far away from their counterpart as far as gaining audience or consensus in the market.

With that, as much as what layer or token they released in the public, there could be investors who are still in the fence. Yes, we all know that it's better to trade on DEX as we have total control, but still though it's the question of liquidity and other limiting factors for traders, just saying.

Thanks for the information, mate. Right now I'm looking for potential DEX tokens aside from the BTC accumulation that I'm doing for the bull run during the halving later. I personally still looking for a potential DEX token, so I have nothing on my radar.

BTW, from the list you provided, I see that only 2 tokens have a very significant price increase performance, they are Gains Network (GNS) and Velodrome (VELO). Meanwhile, GMX (GMX) already has a TVL of over $500M, quite risky to invest here IMO. Maybe Perpetual Protocol (PERP) which has very good potential in terms of price increase, because TVL there is currently only around $17M, and they also don't have a significant increase like Gains Network (GNS) and Velodrome (VELO).

I don't think it's too complicated to find opportunities with dex tokens, for me some tokens are really valuable to me like UNI, CRV, 1INCH, Sushi,... all DEXs that I trust. I wouldn't be too surprised if in the next bull cycle these tokens continue to capture the interest of those who want to return to defi research.
There are also some new dexs but I don't really think they are competitive enough in the current market.

Those exchanges were famous about 4 years ago and they are really not user-friendly when it comes to their platform only a few of them have updated their sites because the competition with centralized exchanges nowadays is giving them hard time and traders will always choose to have easy access and user-friendly exchanges rather than using that dex which is not really recommended for newbies. But today lots of things happened with the exchanges and lots of people now recommend using Dex exchanges because of what happened with FTX last time.

I know and have used biswap before, but I don't get BSW in return or they just started this idea? Because of what happened to FTX and other centralized platforms, it's recommended to go with decentralized exchanges. But that doesn't mean that they're all completely safe with it because nobody knows.

As a trader or an investor, we have to be informed on what's happening in the market together with those exchanges whether they're centralized or decentralized.

And it's not just all about their service but also their tokenomics.

DEX tookens does sometimes provide quite high surprises. First, it used to be popular, really made a lot of people feel happy because they got a lot of profits. From very low prices and jumping to very high prices. And some of them still exist today.

And I think maybe DEX tokens are still valuable. Can try this. Even though the risk is still high because we won't know which DEX will really last until it's bullish and goes up high.
