I am not hodling any but i have noticed that when ever big centralized exchange gets into trouble, like gets hacked or it's stalling withdrawals etc, it's a good time to buy DEX coins immediately.

Because right after they get a lot of visibility when all dex maximalists out there start to tweet at the same time. It might take some time for them to pump but they will, almost always. So next time if i get in early i am buying them with 10x or more leverage.

And if I'm not mistaken, DEX has been in the market for so long already, nothing against them, but it seems that they are still very far away from their counterpart as far as gaining audience or consensus in the market.

With that, as much as what layer or token they released in the public, there could be investors who are still in the fence. Yes, we all know that it's better to trade on DEX as we have total control, but still though it's the question of liquidity and other limiting factors for traders, just saying.

I don't want to use the word HYPE, but actually I feel that when a trend breaks out, people talk about it too much and try to fud the competition.
But perhaps the familiar behavior from users entering the market has formed the occasional habit with DEXs, although admittedly some DEXs perform quite well in the market.
But it is speculated that when the market goes up, people will talk about decentralization again, and then the dex environment will be celebrated again.

    -  I didn't like any of the dex platforms you mentioned though I have dexes that I use anyway, but I don't use them very often. DEX is fine as long as it has a good reputation in this industry.

As long as the DEXs that I use just recently were Biswap, Quickswap, then the others that I think are okay, I used to use pancakeswap but now I don't anymore because hackers and scammers got into it.

Just yesterday I tried to use ZigZag for some transactions and it was a horrible experience. I chatted with the admin on discord and still was unable to get a resolution. I might not know all these other exchange tokens but ZigZag is certainly not the one for me to even trade. I believe DEXs are a go-to these days and there might be some that their token will do well but someone needs to be careful in choosing.

I haven't heard of any of these dex platforms before, but I have used dex in the past. In the past, I've used PancakeSwap and ApeSwap, but right now I tend to use centralized exchanges most of the time. Yes, I do hold some dex tokens and plan to keep it until the next bull market comes around. You never know what could happen next, and there's always a chance to shine.

In my opinion, dex platforms provide a more secure way for users to trade cryptocurrencies compared to centralized exchanges. This is because dex platforms rely on Smart Contracts and don't hold user's assets. As long as you make sure you're visiting the right address, you should be good to go.

After all, they are all altcoins, and there is always a risk when investing in altcoins. Don't be fooled easily, they are taking advantage of the crash of FTX, and many decentralized exchanges are hyping things up, and if you are not alert, you will most likely become liquid for sharks. All altcoins are equally risky, I do not own any of the tokens you mentioned and do not intend to invest in these. Investing in altcoins, we should only focus on ETH, and layer1 projects will be more sustainable than these junk projects.

I don't trade on DEX often but I am happy I come across your post, it was very helpful. I'll be doing my research on the tokens you just listed. From my experience one has to be careful with DEX other than Uniswap and Pancakeswap.

Recently i followed the messages of some people on telegram, that have invested into Oreo-Swap and Zyberswap. Both Dexes are based on the Arbitrum-chain if i remember correctly. Both of those people invested very early into those projects and especially the guy that invested into Zyberswap made a huge amount of money. If i remember correctly, he invested 3000$ and made way more than 200k $ profit, because the farms were paying such a high APY and obviously the price of the token did pump for a few weeks.
It is also obvious though, that after a few weeks the price began to dump heavily because such high APY's are just not sustainable for more than a few weeks.
So i would guess that 9 out of 10 new Dexes never really take off and the other 10% are only really hot for a few weeks then they crumble.

Cex exchange coins are the best among Cex and dex. Because many times DEX exchanges have many problems to sell tokens and there is no liquidation so investors cannot sell tokens. And dex exchange tokens don't increase that much I would definitely choose Cex exchange tokens. Because earlier I bought some tokens like this from DEX exchange but later I couldn't sell there and I lost my money. So you don't lose money if you invest tokens in sex exchange.

It's almost any new blockchain will have new dex. There are so many dex exist in the market and yeah these dex have very very small daily trade volume caused by the only one that can be a winner. People were just creating dex for money purpose only.

The main purpose for the creation of dex is to get hype and the developers behind these dex are starting to release their own tokens. They were also allocating some tokens for their themselves.

Launching dex during the hype of new blockchain = new users and volume.

There are too many decentralize exchanges and most of them won't be adopted, every chains like Arbitrum, Optimism and others have different type of dex tokens, it is alarming and not needed, the most newest dex that has good utility right now is integral and people aren't even adopting this project yet. Be careful with those that has high staking APY, they are not going to be around for a long period of time.

In the absence of third party intermediaries hacking and scammers can still occur so which one is the safest between dex and cex?  the thing that I have experienced is if I want to do a token sale, if I am asked to choose between dex and cex, I prefer cex

Trading Dex token is not really my thing but rather I trade when there is a coin I know will profit me, so I only prefer day trading as to avoid losing money.

I do agree with you on this, I can see DEX exchanges gaining more market share as time goes by, and as they gain more market share the value of their tokens, they are likely going to keep appreciating, exchange tokens are just one of the selected few tokens in the space that have use cases unlike most of the useless governance tokens we have in the space

I think DEX tokens will also be difficult to increase, especially with the recent case of Sushiswap being hacked.
Obviously this will make users also worry about installing liquidity on a DEX platform. In my opinion,
currently it is better to hold coins from metaverse, NFT, or AI.

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) are indeed bullish right now. With recent issues from centralized exchanges, like the downfall of FTX Exchanges, a lot of people now trading on decentralized exchanges (DEX) which you can even create futures trading on it.
Another thing to watch out for is on the Arbitrum network, where this GMX and GNS are also available on the Arbitrum network, another is Vela Exchange, they are still in Beta, and I'm looking forward to them too.

New dex tokens are new. These are all unknown, I'm not sure if it has ANN thread here.
You will need to find out whether they'd survive in the next bear market because if not, they'd just die. The old DEX tokens might just be the one you'd prefer but like any other altcoins, you will also need to sell them right in the bull season otherwise you'd lose more money when prices dive.
