Check this out

When you see something like this, RUN and Don't look back.

The official twitter channel of SPACE ID is @SpaceIDProtocol, the link in the picture above is fake, also why would I be qualified for something I don't even know or follow before? No task completed or whatsoever.

Never mind

I know where this is going, all those who couldn't tell the difference will join this raindrop with their BNB wallet address and this people will sent a fake SPACE ID token to your BNB wallet address.

You try selling the token, and that's when the once seemingly impossible thing will turn possible, all your tokens will be wiped out.

Be cautious out there, Twitter is boiling up with fake Arbitrum and SPACE ID giveaways right now.

The official twitter can be known by seeing the name of its twitter account but the thing that makes me doubt is there are thousands of people retweeting or even quoting it which makes me believe that there are a bunch of bots or at least stupid people in the twitter.
I wonder what elon did for sure. he said that he would be eliminated bots but it seems that many bots still exist.
It's an easy trap for lazy and greedy people but the real supporters who have been eligible for airdrop will never fall into the old scam technique like that. There are thousands of accounts being made by scammers to impersonate the real account.

This is such an old trick that is still being used by scammers.

With projects that are being hyped and getting the crowd, scammers will take time and won't let this opportunity pass to take their moments as well.
Those that are greedy will never notice the difference and think that this is a common thing that comes from the official team from any project that they're checking.
There will always be those fake airdrops, fake giveaways and don't let yourself bite into those fake tweets.

Might as well start with their official website and click the twitter logo hyperlink to directly go to their official Twitter instead of relying on newsfeed of your account. Chances that are many scammers will try to fake their main account with bunch of copy cats tweets and worse there is the scammer using verified twitter for particular time and engage with such bullshit. Of course that will let participants think that its legit.

I guess twitter should have restrict changing of names or content for a particular time to avoid leaping of these thieves from hype projects.

When you think an offer is too good to be true, it becomes a scam for you because no one offers something easily without wanting something else.

And usually, if it looks too good to be true, it turns out to be a scam. This has been happening for a long time but only the models have changed. We must remain careful with such offers.

SpaceID is ubiquitous now that airdrop season 2 is approaching. This has created an opportunity for fraudsters to deceive a large number of people by employing devilish methods such as the one you displayed here. It is our job to protect ourselves by carefully double-checking any airdrops news from legitimate sources, such as official outlets. Verify not just based one source, but all of their official social media accounts and organizations to ensure their credibility.

And because of that we need to re-confirm the real token address from CMC or their official website, to make sure whether it's really a genuine token or not, but usually now BSC gives a "Scam/Fake" sign to a potentially fake token. Right now there are lots of fake tokens that are sent via Airdrops or massive transactions, if we are not careful and exchange these fake tokens it is very likely that all the tokens in our wallet will disappear in an instant.

Many fake twitters project running out on twitter and this is very rampant on going scam in the twitter space. This is the reason why always check info from coinmarketcap to double check legit projects on their twitter channel. I never interact such kind of airdrops on twitter because I know it is very fake at all and only people always be victimized are those who are new to these kind of stuff.

Check this out

Be cautious out there, Twitter is boiling up with fake Arbitrum and SPACE ID giveaways right now.

If you have a Twitter account that follows a lot of projects, tokens, NFTs, etc. probably you already see a lot of posts like this and probably there are thousands of posts like this every day that you need to follow, retweet, etc. then also sometimes you need to put your address as well. Also, new hype projects are going to be the ones that they are going to imitate since that is where a lot of people are active.

There are also thousands of likes on posts like this making it suspicious enough and some people would think its legit because of thousands of likes and retweet, but probably it was made by bots or some kinds of auto like on twitter. Scammers could easily trick a lot of investors from hype projects so its a bad idea not checking this account before doing something. If they send suspicious token on your wallet just do not try to move it, their are cases where hackers have ways to hack your wallet using this kind of methods.

Assuming it's created by a scammer, how is possible they will scam? they only ask to retweet and drop our BNB public address (not the private address, so there's no way they ca regain access of our address. But we're still don't know what they will do next, we can find it after they've announce the distribution has been started.

...You try selling the token, and that's when the once seemingly impossible thing will turn possible, all your tokens will be wiped out...

I don't understand how you can lose coins when selling if you don't connect your wallet to unfamiliar sites. Using one of the decentralized exchanges, you will not be able to confirm the transaction on the network, as DEX will block it and your coins in the wallet will be safe.

But scammers are becoming more sophisticated on social media and especially in the crypto space where many people are still unaware of the risks with information.
I see ARB also having a similar situation, maybe social media advertising can work for scammers, but I think these people will pay the price for their behavior wrong deviation.
As for new entrants, always be wary of enticing advertisements.

Thanks for the heads-up, although I'm not into this kind of altcoins, but it's good that someone is giving the community about this kind of fraudulent acts which is very prevalent still at this point in crypto space.

@kaseygriffin - yeah, they are getting bolder with their attack on us, and crypto enthusiast most of the time can't really tell the difference between scams and real projects because this criminals knows how to copy everything. We just need to be very careful and vigilant with this kind of attacks.

But it only asks for the BNB address of the investor. How would these con-artists scam those who just dropped their BNB address there?
If they will redirect you to a fake link then that's the real scam, but anyways, on this one I don't see any intent of scamming at all, but the fact that they almost copied SPACE ID is already a red flag.

Overall, whenever you see airdrops like this, make sure that you double-check their official website or Twitter account so that you will not get scammed or whatever thing that they will do just to get your money. Be vigilant because scammers are everywhere. Just one wrong click of yours, and you might lose all of your money.

Apocollapse, what this scammer wants is your public bnb wallet address, nothing more, you can do yourself a favor and scan your wallet address for ETH or BNB using ether scan dot io, you will see some tokens you never knew you had, such tokens are from scammers, you only get in trouble if you try to sell those tokens. If you try to sell the tokens, you will be referred to a malicious dex and if you connect your wallet you have automatically reveal your recovery seed.

social media projects and the web for me are very important to research. Twitter account can be seen how the growth, progress of the project. but on the other hand, like a scammer project, they are only looking for someone who can share their tweets that do not lead to a concept for the project. and the team on the web doesn't match, it's just a download from google

This is nothing new, but as you can see the crypto market is always full of newcomers, and it is dangerous for someone to think that everything in their wallet has real value.
I've seen a lot of people complain about their personal wallets being hacked, and most of them are user errors when connecting to risky dapps. Perhaps this period sees profits from many new projects appear, but scammers are more active.

This is a common scamming trick, you can get away with this if you are using an empty wallet address for airdrops and free claiming of NFTs even if you are a newbie in this crypto space, only greedy people get scammed with this trick, Twitter is now a scammers dungeon as everything on the platform is easy to duplicate, and the team and devs don't bother dealing with such tricksters unless few people decide to report the account, shame.

Same thoughts, although they can now see the addresses of those users and maybe the true attack is about to begin. They can send malicious tokens to those addresses and once those users interact with the tokens, that's going to be the time that they will be hacked. For the airdrops or even in bounties, it is advisable to use a disposable wallet/address and send only the legit coins after, in your main wallet to avoid any issues.

Overall, whenever you see airdrops like this, make sure that you double-check their official website or Twitter account so that you will not get scammed or whatever thing that they will do just to get your money. Be vigilant because scammers are everywhere. Just one wrong click of yours, and you might lose all of your money.
Legit Twitter accounts usually has a blue check on them. If not, we can also based on the number of followers. Legit accounts usually have lots of followers (over 20 to 30k) and has a small number of following users.

I think that where this criminals enter, they target newbies, hoping that they are going to fall for this trick. And every social media now has a lot of scammer in their again taking advantage of the platform. So everyone should be aware of this kind of trick. There are a lot of ways for this criminals to look as if they are the real ones, and so we need to really be very careful. Even clicking a link from them is very dangerous.

Be cautious out there, Twitter is boiling up with fake Arbitrum and SPACE ID giveaways right now.

And it's better to report this to twitter so that they will be taking down. On the other hand, there is only one trick being used to scam, they will have Twitter accounts, and you will see it as a official account with the blue badge and not to think that this is a scam. So again, we should open our eyes in the world that we are living because scammers are just around us.
