In some countries where they have serious unemployment challenges many people have engaged in bitcoin to invest and into other aspects of bitcoin, just imagine if their were no bitcoin how will the common man invest the little he or she has. If there were no bitcoin I know their are investment people can go for but it will be something that the rich and middle class can afford to invest. In bitcoin the rich, poor and middle class can go into it, this is to say bitcoin is for every body.

With the recent challenge in Nigeria where the resigni of their currency has caused scarcity of flow of cash which is really affecting the citizens, I know bitcoin will also make a good contribution in this case because lots of young people in the country are engage to bitcoin.

In developing countries bitcoin is much more needed than in developed countries.  I am from Brazil and I can say that bitcoin made things way easier here  , specially for those who want to send their money abroad (in investment or just traveling)

I would say it is practically the same. Aside from the normal Bitcoin investment which is no longer an argument that Nigerians are well involved in, I also believe they will be using this for money transfers as well even though there is no good record of that but we do know it happens. If cryptocurrency doesn't exist I also wonder how I would be earning extra money.
I am an employee and at the same time a crypto investor, crypto has been and still helping me financially. It has been my way to earn more and have a little savings, so if it didn't exist I think I would be just an employee like most of the people I know.

I would really like to know what percentage of Nigerians are engaged with bitcoin, so we can conclude that bitcoin is within reach of most people there. If my assumption is not wrong, the involvement of people in bitcoin is only two categories, investment or shopping using bitcoin, my question is whether investing and buying and selling using bitcoin can involve everyone in Nigeria?

Price will be a problem in developing countries to take a bitcoin investment approach, although certain DCA and technical patterns can be done, but as you mentioned generally and I think not everyone can touch bitcoin. But in the case of economic downturns and inflation I agree bitcoin can play a much bigger role compared to fiat currency, because of the many evidences we have seen how bitcoin is able to survive in those conditions.

You guys might be missing the point. Not because this technology is giving profit to SOME people in this industry, investors to be more specific, it would already mean that it contributes to the economy. How would it contribute if transactions are not taxed? Don't get me wrong; Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are really profitable but that is far different from helping an economy or even solving economic related issues.  Also, when it comes on putting your money in banks, how come it wouldn'y be yours? Because transactions are monitored and taxed? That is simply because of the insurance you are paying towarda them; that if something bad happens, they'll have something to do to help you. Unlike in this industry that if you happened to lose your assets, no one would be there to help you out. Let us not be too biased and delusional because of how this technology benefits us.

i don't think that's true for all. i believe, it is still a small percentage that do go to bitcoin market. as their trust to traditional banks are waning, some of them are going into tangible assets not in crypto. if you don't know what you're doing, you can easily go bankrupt with crypto. so nope, in my opinion, only few of them are going into btc or crypto. but a lot may be enticed with btc market, but only few of them will eventually invest in crypto.
