I have to admit that when I pay with Bitcoin, I get a little nervous too. Bitcoin is a means of payment, but for me it's more of a store of value. If we look at past price movements historically, we can see how great it has performed, and we can have some ideas of what it might do in the future. But the problem for me is that anytime I think about paying with BTC I feel somehow uncomfortable. No not at all. I think I would feel quite happy doing so. In my country these days withdrawal of btc is quite difficult, so all the ways where you can spend bitcoin is actually good. Also i would say it's better for me because I have lost a lot of valueable money as well because of the markets going down eventually. So i feel it's better if I pay in bitcoin but obviously in rising markets it might feel like stupidity.

I think that Laszlo didn't have any information about bitcoin that how much expensive it is. But these days every person is familiar with bitcoin and the price and worth of bitcoin is well known to everyone.

I know that bitcoin holding will be lucky for you one day but you cannot hold it for prolong time, there will be a time when you have to sell your bitcoin as for the life you will need it one day.

Paying with bitcoin will decrease your profit and you will think in future that it would be better to not sell your bitcoin that time. So it will be better to put some money when it increase then take your profit and left the remaining amount in it so in this case you will be able to take benefit as well as to maintain your investemnt in bitcoin.

I think it comes with the territory, those first gen hodlers are the luckiest and the bold ones who believed in what Satoshi Nakomoto and friends saw in the money system, and getting to spend your bitcoin today shouldn't be something to make you feel bad because in you doing so you are being the ambassador of crypto and adoption is becoming the order of the day.

It feels like you paying more for the product from a future perspective.

I know the feeling but if you have other sources of income you can have a stash that you shouldn't touch just to make you feel happy.

Stablecoins are my go to coins if I don't want the inconvenience of a clogged network and besides they too speak for bitcoin in the crypto adoption game.

That’s because most people in the bitcoin community see bitcoin as a store value and do not like to use bitcoin as a currency. Spending bitcoins on stuff like groceries and gadgets feels like a waste of investment to many bitcoiners, which is kind of strange to admit considering that we like to talk about how bitcoin is going to replace fiat. Excually my payment is through Bitcoin and from that I have to pay my daily expenses as well as the investments I have to make. Although we should be happy with the spread of payments through Bitcoin, but there is still a pain inside when it comes to making payments or sales through it, The reason is the same like what Laszlo Hanyecz did.

If you do have that uneasy feeling on the time you do spent up your coins then better not to do it because we dont really know on what the future holds and we do know that it isnt really that something
that we could really be able to avoid if ever Bitcoin would rise up its value even more comparing on what we do have today.Yes, there are lots who had missed out the train and ending up on having that
huge regret basing up on what they had spent back in the past but somehow if we do really zoom out on why Bitcoin it was created then it would really be for the sake of p2p payments which is

Is that like when we have sold our coins and then the price goes up? If so, as long as we don't lose we just have to be grateful. Because we have to bear the consequences of the choices we made. I have a story when my friend bought a laptop from another friend of mine with bitcoin, even worse, not only in a matter of months but in less than 1 week the price of bitcoin has doubled and he is still discussing it to this day.

We feel bad because we have been influenced by our minds Bitcoin is an asset that soonest will give us more profit. We are worried that spending it today will cause regrets in the future just like buying a pizza with that huge amount of BTC. I would not pay with Bitcoin if I didn't have to, unless that was the only available fund I had to spend at that moment. But any time I spend Bitcoin, I don't feel bad about it. I think it would depend on what we paid for, because for me if it is something that we really needed at that time and we don't have any other option left then there is nothing to be sad or feel anything from it.
I paid with crypto so many times before for my internet connection or mobile data but I didn't regret it because I am using it to learn more and earn in crypto back then.

I do not mind paying in BTC.  Whether paying in cash, stablecoins or BTC, I feel it is all the same.  Since I only look at the current scenario where I need a fund to pay for the bills and other important things I need to buy.  After all, it does not make any difference since the amount in BTC to pay is the same amount in any form of currency.  If in case, we can replenish BTC with the money we have in hand.  So why regret paying in BTC when you can replenish if you have the money right away?

I totally agree with you, this all depends on what we will pay with our Bitcoin, will it be useful for us or will it just be wasted. if we don't want to regret or feel bad for spending our Bitcoin then we have to be able to use it wisely.
if we spend our Bitcoin only to fulfill temporary pleasures or be useful only for a moment such as spending it on getting drunk or buying drugs or anything negative, that is not a wise thing and it is certain that our Bitcoin is wasted, it is different if we spend on things which can be useful to us for clearer purposes then why should we feel bad and regret.

Bitcoin has reached so far compare to its past, if we look on its value, we cant imagine that it can be that high now. Using bitcoin as a payment will trully make us nervous and question ourselves sometimes like, is it right to pay with bitcoin? What if it pump after I paid? Should I used fiat instead of it? Those are just question that will hit you when you do it. I guess if you dont want to feel that way better to not used bitcoin so you dont have to worry more. Weather the peice of it rise or go down you wont feel any regret at all.

Nope, it's just the same as paying cash besides you can have them back if you have the money to buy back again. Don't get worry too much for any small things you are doing it's just part of our living but instead try to look the other way or having a different perspective you will always know what you are doing.

But always, always, always double or triple check everything everytime you do the BTC transactions since it requires no mistake to send to the right recipient. But if you were going to ask me, I would prefer paying cash instead of BTC and by that it's less hassle since not everytime you are having an internet on your phone when you go out. As someone who currently lives in a third-world country, my answer would be a both YES and a NO.

YES- I regret using my BTCs since I somehow take away the opportunity of saving and HODLing for its price to mature in the future. I am very much aware about its price history index where its price used to be significantly low in the market, but it skyrocketed every once in a while. Every time I use BTC and convert it to my local currency, it pains me to see that I have been wasting an investment which I should have been saving for the future.

NO- with job opportunities being very competitive in my country, earning through signature campaigns is definitely a privilege that not anyone can do. Majority of my BTCs have been converted to cash in order to pay for my monthly bills, which supports me and my family. In this aspect, I do not regret using my BTC since I use it for a desired and meaningful purpose.

Where did you find that a person bought a pizza with 30+ bitcoins. I knew about buying a pizza that buying a pizza with 10,000 bitcoins was the first use of bitcoins.
When you buy something with bitcoins you are of course using its current value. So if you don't use bitcoin in that case you have to use the same amount of money in other ways.  But if you find it easier to pay in Bitcoin than other means.  Then of course it's nice and easy to pay you with those bitcoins and then buy back the bitcoins at that point. it will not any big problem

First of all, the person you mentioned is Laszlo, he didn't spend 30+ for a pizza, but 10,000 for 2 pizzas. And the second is, you create a topic, you ask and you've answered it in the same place. If you don't want to pay for something with Bitcoin (BTC) because you don't want to be unlucky like Laszlo who doesn't realize the real value of Bitcoin, well, like you said, use stablecoins. Right?? I have the same feeling. I know that there is no difference if you pay with BTC or stables because you spend the same amount of money, but when you have HODL psychology it feels wrong.

Like we all thought that we need to HODL out bitcoins and buy them, use DCA and stuff, but when it comes to spending we already got used to the idea that selling/spending bitcoin is somehow bad.

I think the biggest problem is that we still treat it like an asset, not like money.

It all depends on the circumstances surrounding the spending of Bitcoin, for someone who bought Bitcoin as an investment and a long-term asset, it's better to avoid frequent spending of your holding since yours. Notice is to hold and not to spend.

-But we also have those Bitcoin holders who just bought bitcoin to make online payments where faint is restricted or Unavailable, thos categories of users may have to spend the Bitcoin regardless of his/her feelings.
