It's really easy to minimize profit through sport betting because most of gamblers are tend to lost, actually they're want to make profit through sport betting. I think there's no relation between gambling by using crypto and gambling by using fiat, it's depends on how good your analysis, not the currency you're using.

I don’t really understand how the currency you’re betting makes a difference on the amount of profits from gambling that you receive. The casino doesn’t care if you’re betting dollars or widgets. Sure, it might be faster and easier to deposit crypto into an online casino than making a money transfer, but once the funds are there I don’t think it matters much for your profits outside of maybe the exchange rate fluctuations.

Being a good guy who will be accurately predicting the result from the match will become a key to maximizing your profit. There are some threads where someone already explained if he was able fully predict the sports bet through multiple bets and he earned a bunch of money.

Why people do betting on sports ? Because they need to make money and for that, they use their hard earned money. It's natural that they will be sad about losing the bet and hence losing the money. So its hard for us to convince the people to forget about the betting result or use that money that they can afford t lose.

Better option is to teach people that they should use money management while doing the betting. Keep a close eye on the money invested in each bet, the odds offered by the site and your overall profit and loss in betting.

Take note that it is only in an NBA matchups, people says that it is easy to predict who will win without knowing these factors. Professional NBA bettors are aware on this fact that anything can happen so there will be an upsets that can materialize and invalidated a lot of predictions. I can also agree that proper research is the key in order to be profitable in NBA betting, it takes a lot of time but once you gathered enough data. It can help you to analyze the team and have a better decision on where you will bet.

If I'm not mistaken it looks like the OP wants to find information about maximizing profits from sports betting but he doesn't know how to start, I think he needs experience to bet on sports betting because if he bets without experience it will waste his time and drain his money moreover it's too risky if bet without knowledge. I certainly agree. Any currency would never affect our betting history as long as we are kowledgable of what we are doing. Losing is easier than winning but we can maximize our profit by exerting effort to analyze the sports of our choice from the game itself to the players. But we need to also make sure that along with high risk and maximum profit, high chances of loss also come. So if you have enough money to bear losses, then only bet on these types of markets or events. And not only, now, but 7-8 years back also, crypto was available for sports betting. So like as you have mentioned in the OP, it’s not a new deal at all. Many people have been using the cryptos to bet on sports events since many years.

I think you are mixing up two very different concepts (which are common within the gambling community).
It is a very different thing to bet on sports and invest in a coin, both things require their own different approach, research and intuition.

One can increase one's profits while betting by improving through experience and analysis on where one's put the money on, and I find that sporbetting with an altcoin one's expect to increase in value to be a bit impractical.

Would not be better to have two separate budgets? One for betting and another one to hold in long term, as (I assume) most of people do.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying this, but what I understand is you are saying combining the two opportunities of crypto investing and betting on gambling.
combining these two options is the same as you get 2 different risks that you have to face simultaneously. You know that investing anywhere has risks, even investing in crypto has the risk of fluctuating prices that can go up or down at any time. and in gambling the risk of losing money is greater when you lose your bet.

It don't think we need to bet on high risk game in order to maximize our profits, you can bet on low risk game and start collecting the profit little by little, you can also make a good amount money too. Bet on high risk game is good as long as you're only bet with small amount money, because the chance you will lose your bet are high too. Does it really matter if you're using fiat or crypto to bet?

If you're betting a high risk game even if you're using fiat or crypto you're still going to make the same profit or perhaps lose the same amount, so I don't really see how using crypto maximizes wins. The only people I know will benefit are the casinos owner they're are the one that will profit more not those making the bets.
