Before the forum, I used to be a shy person. I'd rather keep shut than ask my question for the fear of sounding silly. But I took up courage and started to ask several questions about the forum and Bitcoin that I needed more clarification on. And I am glad I did because I have gotten a wide range of perspective.

Be patient while on the forum. Your rank wouldn't go from Newbie to Legendary overnight. This shouldn't be the goal because sooner than later disappointment that could lead to mild depression would kick in.Participate actively and participate sensibly. Avoid the technical discussion board if you have nothing useful to contribute. That's what I mean by participating sensibly.

You are a beginner yourself and not in any position to give out advice, I don’t see the reason you feel you have all the answers to beginners problems this early stage of your stay here.

Just respect him even though he has given general advice that we know, but at least trying to understand him in the forum is better than nothing, as long as what the OP's advice conveys is applied to himself.

This isn’t the right move if you ask me and you have your personal growth to worry about. All the strategies you have giving out can easily be omitted by you so do well to follow them first before giving advice.

Well maybe this isn't the right one to give advice to the seniors because they already know everything while the OP only thinks for fellow beginners who both want to help him, but what is given in the advice is only what is known now, the most important thing is don't do it plagiarism because it would be a fatal mistake.

At least for the OP you have to explore a wider forum and read everything that is needed maybe the search button is also useful for finding a topic you want to ask about.

This forum helps people to get a clear view of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The more anyone invests time here, the more lesson he or she can learn from here. Knowledge is not limited so you can gain knowledge from anywhere if you are willing to take them.

4. Participate actively.  Get involved in the discussion and give your opinion or views on the topic being discussed.  However, make sure to respect other members and not belittle their opinions.

All the points you raised will no doubt assist newbies to learn and contribute to the forum. These rules are very fundamental and need to be remembered at all times. But I want to add some explanation to the fourth point about being an active participant of the forum. You should know that it is not every topic you should respond to. You can just read a topic and get information without commenting. If you don't have any good point to add or no question to ask, you don't need to comment. Most newbies become victims of plagiarism because they have the mentality that they have to respond to most of the thread they read which is not true. I think there are many users that just visit the forum to get information and they are okay with that.

Did you really come to all these conclusions after only 7 activities? Your comment is supposed to come from an old member or someone who visits the forum frequently before he registers.

A newbie or rookie can give advice based on their limited experience of the forum, it may not be as comprehensive as when an older member gives the advice and it may already be available if we only search for it. It is understandable for newbies to not fully know how to use the search option as yet and make threads on already discussed topics.

As I mentioned earlier, these recommendations are implemented on all communication sites, especially forums. It is enough to be a member of any forum for a good period of time to conclude what might be the behaviors of a good forum member. It is clear that he posted these recommendations despite being a new member and that he was most likely aiming to earn some merit points. No user can ignore the search feature unless it is intentional, because that does not cost anything and he does it dozens of times on Google.

Besides, study it first and learn more further before joining in such a discussion.

You forgot the very important that beginners should be avoided.
Copy-pasting or plagiarising from the article without citing a source, it's a mortal sin here and there's no chance if you have proven to do this.

Overall you stated was right, apply it to your self and see it on the top, good luck OP.

It’s a basic rule not to post when you have no enough idea about it, otherwise you will end up making a low quality post which might be deleted later on. So avoid topics which you really don’t know. And in case for plagiarism, if you read and understand the rules in the forum, you will always avoid resorting into copy pasting and claim it as your own. Instead, always DYOR so you will develop a good explanation in every topic you chose to interfere with.

Everyone on the forum were once newbies at a time and once lacked any knowledge they possess now. Do not feel embarrassed to ask questions and I'm sure you will not be ignored.

A honest question would not be considered spam, you only have to take the extra effort to do a quick search to find out if your question has been answered before, then you can freely ask.

At some point, newbies should still have to ask seniors in the forum if they think they don’t have sufficient knowledge on the topic. There’s nothing wrong it as long as it’s done seriously and honestly. However, if asking would be hard for you, then always encourage learning on your own. That’s not hard to do as all the learning materials are already spread out all over the internet and on the forum itself. You just need due diligence to learn everything about it.

Remember that bitcointalk is not the only online forum in the world. There are so many other forums and some members here have belonged to such forums and have experience of how forums work. It is therefore not difficult to relate such forums with this one and know how here works.
Also it is not necessary read the posts of higher ranked members, besides there are some higher ranked members who know little or nothing about bitcoin.

It is generally only advisable for such newbies to learn things about bitcoin if it is why they are here. Otherwise they continue with their businesses or services if they are the reasons they joined the forum.

Don't try to comment on something you don't understand, because it will cause confusion which results in spam in the thread, as much as possible avoid plagiarism by copying and pasting posting materials as this is strictly prohibited on the forum. The rules that I have always followed until now, avoid friction, respect people and try to maintain each other's privacy.

For knowledge can be increased by expanding the reading, depending on which part you like to learn and which is easier, point 1 is the first thing to learn before exploring the forum and other points will follow as needed.

Respect with OP warn us how to be better in the forum although my rank higher but is not important because OP can write well how to get good step in this forum, I am excited with the points not spam and keep give irrelevant information based on topic discussing board. Here many user try to get enough post required for joining campaign and not viewed aspect about their post relevant or not with the topic discussing.

Seems OP smart than usually beginner because have completed guide how to start in this forum better and get potential reach to higher rank one day later, many important points for discussing exactly with beginner need to know in Bitcointalk forum. No post is considered spam or ignored unless it is actually spam, which means it has already been posted and if it's a question, already answered. You can find out about that with a simple forum search from the home page of the forum (so that the search function searches the whole forum for the keyword provided). If you find out that the question or concern you haven't already been discussed, go ahead and ask/post it, and it will receive the necessary responses.

To OP, as mentioned by many, a very vital thing that you forgot to mention which newbies commit most of the time and I've caught a lot of them doing it myself, that is plagiarism. Never copy-paste things, unless you are using them as a reference and mentioning the source.

Newbie teaching newbie again? That means the newbie (op) is a bitcoiner before coming to the forum or it is an Alt account for a higher rank member, because I am looking at it from the University setting. If a year one student in the university lectures his fellow year one students, that means he has learned that topic at somewhere before coming to class and add it up with lecturer's teachings and know more to teach his class mates. So the essence here is that the op is not new in bitcoin.

Good hints, yes, respecting the rules of the forum and respecting the opinions of others is one of the most important principles for any new member.

As a piece of advice, the most important thing is for a new member to behave himself, this helps him to promote his account quickly through good questions and discussions, while people who register in the forum for certain goals quickly end up outside the forum.

At least, when you start posting, you will have something relevant to say that other forum members will notice and appreciate it. Otherwise, your post will be deleted because of low quality content.

He may be a newbie in this forum but it doesn't mean he just knows crypto or Bitcoin. There are many crypto experts outside of this forum. So, never judge a newbie that he has lack of knowledge about crypto/Bitcoin. He may be an experienced trader or investor, but just join this forum.

Why do you feel afraid to ask a question? As far as it is on topic, feel free to ask the question. It is okay as long as you don't write something nonsense, out of topic, or hate speech.

I'm sure you are not talking about getting banned literally for not being knowledgeable enough because there is no concept like that in the forum. Those newbies who copy and paste others' posts or from sources outside of this forum only to show that they are also a part of a conversation or to increase their Merits for being active and contributing, will get banned either temporarily or permanently.

All the members here already feel like you because indeed we all started as beginners, embarrassed to ask questions and afraid of being ignored, I think it's only natural that all the members here feel that way. However, it is important to remember that asking questions is an important step towards gaining better knowledge.

If you don't understand something, don't hesitate to ask, I don't think anyone will ignore you. Prepare questions that are specific and clear, so that others can give the right answers. Don't be afraid to ask for more clarification if you don't understand the answer given.

Keep practicing and reading so you can be braver than (OP). The more often you ask questions and interact with other members, the more confident you will be in expressing your questions and opinions. Better to ask than not know at all.

I have always said that rank is never a determinant factor of how much knowledge you have.You could be a newbie who has just registered on the forum but can have more knowledge then a legendary also but it would also be reflected in your post quality as it will showcase your level of knowledge.There are newbies who progress very fast because they share useful information with others and post effectively while there can be newbies who learn fast and grow up.

There are many instances where you have initiated healthy discussion just by asking a doubt so it comes under constructive post category also because now members will spread light on the topic and have similar discussions.So asking questions is also good but if they are on topic and have any base.
