How effective is biowaste energy in bitcoin mining

The use of biogas for mining is dependent in the volume of gas made available by your biodigester to the generator. Even for normal domestic consumption, it takes a lot gas to achieve that, and much more if possible for BTC mining. Factors that may affect mining using biogas would include amount of waste generated, quality and components of the waste, biodigester and generator. If you can overcome these, then you're good to go.

You can use bio energy in bitcoin mining but it is a matter of seeing how much energy you will get by using this bio energy.  Because Bitcoin mining usually requires high power electricity but high power electricity can never be expected using this bioenergy. You can get additional amount of electricity by using bioenergy which is not enough electricity for mining. Bitcoin mining is usually done with generators where there is no high amount of electrical power available.  Since Bitcoin mining requires high electrical power to operate each hardware, I think the decision to use biopower for Bitcoin mining may be wrong.

Bioenergy certainly CAN be used -- it just requires the correct size setup for it. Can a homeowner do it? Hell no. Can a good sized livestock farm do it - yes. The links I gave above point to companies that build biowaste power plants up to 10's of MW.

you have cattle feed yards that drain into irrigation ditches that feed water to lettuce

which is how we poison many people with e coli a few years back. bad lettuce.

a natural fix would be shovel waste into a power plant. and build solar on ground mounts to shade the cattle.

use that power to mine btc and use the heat from the btc to sterilize the water in the irrigation canals.

send the water back to irrigation canals and water the  lettuce.

but no the left is busy fighting the right and an easy good plan does not get done.

Nigeria cost of power supply is high and still not constant in most areas and so is not profitable to mine Bitcoin, Using Solar energy may work but the geographical region matters, Using Biowaste energy seems like the most possible way to be profitable in Bitcoin mining in Nigeria. I will like to know the estimated cost of setting up with Biowaste power supply and also how good is biowaste energy for mining bitcoin

I doubt if you would get the help you need here. You can look for biowaste professionals in your locality and ask them to give you a run down of the cost of setting up a biowaste energy generator to power your mining farm. Also, I'm aware of some oil producing communities in the southern part of Nigeria that are enjoying free and uninterrupted power supply. So I think such communities are good places to run your farm as you don't get to worry about the cost of power supply. You can also use the biowaste energy generator as a backup.
